Tracy Schley’s 8 year old son is now without his mother because Edwin Posey decided to take her life. It was at 4:21 am that Tracy called 911 to report that her home was being broken into. Sheriff's officials released a recording of the call.
''Somebody just broke into my house,'' Tracy told a dispatcher.
''Who is it?'' the dispatcher asked.
Tracy sighed and then screamed amid what sounded like a gunshot: ''No, no, no, no, no. Oh, my God. Oh, my God.''
The dispatcher sensed the emergency and directed deputies to the home.
''Get somebody started. This is bad,'' the dispatcher said.
When a deputy radioed that Tracy was dead, the dispatcher was heard sobbing.

Tracy was found dead inside her home with gunshot wounds to her head and abdomen. Edwin is in critical condition after he shot Tracy and then turned the gun to his head and pulled the trigger.
Tracy's 8-year-old son was inside the home when the shooting occurred and was unharmed. ''It's going to be all right, buddy,'' a deputy told the child. Just how does this deputy think that this is going to be alright? The child just lost his mother, how will he ever be alright after this?
Tracy’s son was taken to Akron Children's Hospital to be checked out and is now in the custody of his grandparents. Deputies said Tracy and Edwin were in a relationship, but it was not known if it was current and how long they had been dating. Deputies also said Edwin has a criminal record including cocaine trafficking, possession of a firearm, burglary.
