http://i35.tinypic.com/33dxjc7.jpgAn Orland man arrested after he was spotted trespassing on a ranch wearing only a flannel shirt and an electronic tracking device on his ankle also exposed himself behind a freeway rest stop a day earlier, deputies said Thursday.
On Monday, Tehama County sheriff's deputies received a report of a naked man running in an olive orchard near Barham Avenue behind a rest area on Interstate 5, they said.
Deputies chased the man, but were unable to find him.
The witness later was able to identify Ronald Marion Guest, 42, from a photo lineup, deputies said Thursday.
And with the help of Guest's parole officer, the data from his ankle monitor confirmed that he had been in the area of the rest stop.
Tuesday evening, Guest was seen by a rancher running half-naked through a horse pasture.
Deputies said they went to Guest's nearby house, but he wasn't home. They saw a pair of dogs in another nearby pasture and decided to take a look.
They said they found Guest crouching in tall grass, but he again ran away.
He ran for about a quarter of a mile and finally was found hiding in some bushes.
Guest is on parole and is a registered sex offender, they said. California's Megan's Law Web site shows that Guest was convicted of lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14 and indecent exposure.http://www.redding.com/news/2008/nov/21/half-naked-man-accused-of-having-exposed-himself/
On his Tuesday night charges:
Though the arrest charges included trespassing and indecent exposure, Deputy District Attorney Randy Alvey said only resisting arrest charges were filed at Guest's arraignment Thursday afternoon.
Guest did not meet the criteria for an indecent exposure charge, Alvey said.
That requires the exposure be in a public place with an expectation of being seen, and for sexual gratification.
Guest "was in the middle of field on a dark night," Alvey said.http://www.corning-observer.com/news/guest_4091___article.html/exposure_parole.html
