Sting Nets Sex Offenders, Violent Criminals

Police agents were on the hunt on Wednesday for child pornography and violent offenders breaking their probation.

Seminole County police made the law enforcement sweep, going door-to-door checking up on the area's most violent offenders and searching for wanted criminals.

Police arrested several people as a result of the two-night sting.

Teams of Seminole County detectives, local police officers, secret service and probation officers went door-to-door with weapons drawn.

In one case, they went looking for a man wanted on drug charges. Officers searched the home but didn't find the criminal.

They moved onto the next home, where they checked up on a man convicted of attempted sexual battery. Part of his probation is that he can't have child pornography.

Well, it sounds like somewhat of a success.

And kudos to the guy who's abiding by the terms of his probation. Even though he must be a total douche for the attempted sexual battery in the first place.
