Take 6
As part of a school vacation week camp, the YMCA took kids to the Launch Trampoline Park in Watertown.

Chaperones discovered they were short one child when they returned back to the Y, after a 40-minute bus ride.

Watertown police drove to the bounce park and found the child still playing on the trampoline, unaware the rest of the trip had left.

The YMCA told FOX25 they launched an investigation and called the incident unacceptable.

"We hold the safety of children in our care as our top priority--we have been in touch with the child's family to express our deep regret over what happened...We reported this incident to the Mass. Department of Children and Families."

I am pleasantly surprised at the reaction of the YMCA, no cover up, no excuses, admit it is completely unacceptable and reported their incident to DCF themselves.
Glad this situation turned out ok and the child was not afraid. As we know all too well, it could have gone very different.

At least they noticed, someone was doing their job right, even if the chaperones on the trip weren't. And they found him. So different from the usual stories.
