Tonya Jackson
The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing woman who was last seen on May 3rd.
Tonya Jackson, 42, is a mother of 4. She was expected to pick up her daughter from her grandmother's home,
[...]
"For her not to call her children ... that's beyond belief. That's why i truly believe something
has to have happened to her," says L.V. Jackson, Tonya's husband.

He hasn't heard from her since Saturday.
"She said she was going to go have drinks with her friend. That was 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon. That's the last I heard from her,"
[....]
Tonya said she was going to meet that friend at this Knights Inn in Romulus.
However, Tonya met a man at the hotel with whom investigators say she was having a relationship.
Investigators have talked to that man. He says he and Tonya parted ways at 7pm on Saturday.
Police say his story checks out.

"Her not answering her phone, not reporting to work. That's really throwing us for a loop," says Nikyeta Evans, Tonya's sister.

Tonya hasn't shown up for work at the Forensic Center in Ypsilanti and she never picked
up her 13 year-old daughter from her mom's house to take her to school on Monday.
Jackson is described as 5’7, 180 lbs. with brown eyes. She was driving a silver 2007 SAAB 97X, license plate
CCL7888.

Did the friend she was supposed to meet for drinks know they were meeting? And if she didn't, was she being used by Ms Jackson as an excuse to get out of the house and meet her beau, or as an alibi for the husband to explain why it was a while before he started "looking" for her?

Well.. they haven't found her vehicle yet.. she could have been in an accident still too... but I would be suspicious of hubby since she had a man on the side.

More than a month after an Ypsilanti mother's disappearance, a troubling find at an Ohio restaurant may be the first real clue. It was a handwritten plea for help possibly written by Tonya Jackson herself.

The note was found in the bathroom of a Steak and Shake restaurant in Englewood, Ohio, nearly 200 miles from her home
[...]

Investigators called the note a significant lead, though they're not sure Jackson wrote it.

"They found a note written on toilet paper... Her name and another individual and that she needed help,

Jackson's Saab SUV is still missing. The note in Ohio said she was in a red Chevrolet Cavalier.

Nikita Evans is Jackson's sister.

"There's still no activity on her account, no ping on her phone turns up anything,"
[...]
"She vanished."

Jackson is 42 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.
[....]
"For her to come up missing out of the blue like that, that's a big mystery to us," Evans said. "She was an everyday mom. Working, or taking kids back and forth to activities."

Investigators have no security video that verifies Jackson was in the restaurant where the note was found, and because it was hastily written on toilet paper, handwriting analysis is difficult.

"Any type of clue, anything we get we take very seriously because we don't know what to do," said Evans.
