As some have noticed, I have been adding items to the Store. As some have also noticed, the prices are steep. These items I am adding are steep because I don't want a lot of people buying them yet because I am still getting a handle on how to add and configure them.

Once these superficial profile items are added, I will move on to adding User upgrades (Like Bold memberships and the like). The prices of these items, as well as the credits being earned in the forums, are not set in stone. Before I can set a final price, I need to know what an average DD user makes in a month.

Also, these items will not be super-expensive, but they will not be set so low that anyone can snag them after using the forum for a day. Most will also have reoccurring prices. Meaning that if you decide to color your username pink, then you will pay for that monthly. There's multiple reasons for doing that, including promoting activity from a user rather than someone spamming for a color and then never posting again - as well as reverting usernames back for users who may leave the site.

I'll continue to update as things progress.
 
Is it still going to be possible to pay for bold? I can't be the only pathetically lazy poster here who would rather give you money.
 
I know you're not in the mood for dumb shit questions, but I got one anyway. :p I just bought a User Style Upgrade and didn't have a hex code ready. Popped out to get one (in the same window :bag:) and now I don't know how to pull up that options screen again. How/where do I find it again? I checked preferences and went back to the store link. Nada. (#660065 - planting this here in case I forget).

It's simple, but hard to describe without screenshots. I'll get something put together.

You can't. That function has not been implemented since we are moving over to a new system
