A man has been charged with an animal cruelty offence after a pup was killed with a hammer in County Armagh.
The 23-year-old is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
A 16-year-old, also arrested in connection with the incident which police believe happened during a party in Lurgan, has been released on bail.
Police were made aware of the attack on Sparky, a terrier breed, on Monday and the men were arrested on Tuesday.

It's believed the incident happened on Saturday and was shared on the social media platform Snapchat.
The remains were recovered from a bin and a post mortem is to take place to determine the cause of death.
Since reports of the incident first emerged on Monday night speculation over the incident reached fever pitch, which police have attempted to quell.
Earlier officers urged anyone who may have seen posts about the incident on Snapchat or other networks to get in touch.
Police have said Snapchat will not be releasing data relating to the barbaric killing of the 11-week-old puppy.
Officers said the social network would only share information on certain crimes and this incident did not fall into one of those categories.
"Snapchat are NOT the bad guys in this, and like us are merely bound by law," said police in an update.
They have also urged the public to stop sharing names of individuals they may think are involved as it could "prejudice the court case," urging anyone with information instead to contact police.

There has been outrage and disgust after allegations that the 11-week-old dog named Sparky had been beaten with a hammer and put in a microwave.
Police have recovered a hammer as part of their investigation.
Yesterday the PSNI launched an appeal to get "justice for Sparky".
"Whatever happened, it is obvious that little Sparky suffered a horrendous death," the police said.
It's understood the alleged incident happened on Saturday at Ailsbury Park in the town.

The PSNI has attempted to quell speculation about who was behind the incident since reports first emerged on Monday.
It confirmed other people were being "looked at" in relation to the alleged incident, "however we can only go where the evidence takes us... that is not speculation and whataboutery".
Police have appealed for anyone with information, particularly those who may have footage or photographs of the alleged incident, to get in touch.
"We want to get to the bottom of that and make sure that whoever is responsible is held to account," the PSNI said.
"We have two in custody, but need the evidence to be able to take that further."
