A Lee County man is facing a human trafficking charge after an investigation by Collier deputies.
Shawn Anthony Lewis, 35, is incarcerated on a prior conviction for his involvement in a statewide prostitution ring he ran through his escort service "Perfect 10 Companions." Those charges came after an investigation by the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
The investigation by the Collier County Sheriff's Office began in July 2013 when a victim told deputies Lewis had threatened her and forced her into sexual activity in four counties. The victim said Lewis blackmailed her by threatening to send sexual videos of her to her family and the Florida Department of Children and Families who might then take her 2-year-old child from her.
