A Tampa couple has been sentenced to life, and 40 years in federal prison for sexually abusing a 7-year-old girl.

According to court documents, 40-year-old Richmond Joseph McDonald and his wife, 25-year-old Shauna Maryann Bosell, engaged in sexual activity with a 7-year-old girl, with the consent of her relative. McDonald and Boselli engaged in explicit conversation, via the Internet and text messages, with the minor’s relative regarding sexual acts with the child victim.

On July 19, 2016, the child’s relative brought the child to Tampa to meet McDonald and Boselli for the purpose of all three engaging in sex acts with the victim. The relative took the child to the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, where they met with McDonald and Boselli. After spending time at the zoo and taking the child for ice cream, McDonald and Boselli led the relative and the child to their house in Tampa. While at the house, McDonald and Boselli sexually abused the child while the relative watched. Afterwards, the relative and the child returned to their hotel in Tampa.

On July 21, 2016, McDonald and Boselli met with the relative and child at their hotel, where the couple engaged in multiple sex acts with the victim.

Federal agents with Homeland Security Investigations executed a federal search warrant at the defendants’ residence and seized numerous electronic devices and the vehicle that McDonald and Boselli had used in the commission of the offense. A forensic analysis on all of the devices revealed that McDonald was in possession of over 1,300 child-pornographic images, including images and videos of the child victim performing sex acts.

The victim’s relative was prosecuted in federal court, in Orlando, and was previously sentenced to 75 years in prison.

“These crimes are tragic and heart breaking beyond comprehension,” said HSI Tampa Special Agent in Charge James C. Spero. “Our greatest hope is that putting this predatory couple behind bars can help this young girl in her recovery process.”

McDonald and Boselli previously pleaded guilty.

A federal arrest warrant describes a very dark tale where McDonald met the child's father on a porn site.

The father, who’s accused of abusing his own child, expressed interest on sites of having others do the same.

A 21-page report outlines conversations between the child's father and McDonald using several social platforms, including KIK.

In July, the child's father planned a trip to Tampa where he met McDonald and Boselli for a sexual encounter which started at Lowry Park Zoo.

One message obtained by federal agents read, "Break the ice at the zoo... don't force anything… and by the time we get to the house, you'll be her idols."

The father later told detectives, after meeting at the zoo they went for ice cream then to McDonald's home where the couple abused his daughter.

The report stated the father watched the abuse take place.

How can a father do that to his own daughter, not only the sexual abuse but then to pimp her out to strangers.... if it was even pimping her out it didn't really say anything about him receiving money. Just his own sick fucking enjoyment.

I'm all glad the pervs are going away for a very long time, but why was Homeland Security involved in this? It should have just been local LE and the FBI. Homeland Security's mission has nothing to do with this type of activity. If Homeland Security is starting to do federal law enforcement why in the hell do we need the FBI?

I still don't know why this operation is part of Homeland Security, this activity is not in their mission statement, but its definitely in the FBI's. So, why aren't the FBI the ones running with it and then the DHS could concentrate on protecting us from terrorism, since that's their job?

Don’t know that this is any solace, but they got life and then 40 in Federal. Just like dad’s 75 Federal sentence, they are required to do every minute of that.

The judge sentenced Richmond Joseph McDonald, 40, to life in federal prison, and his wife, Shauna Maryann Boselli, 25, to 40 years. The girl’s father, who lives in Orlando, was sentenced to 75 years at a federal hearing in Orange County earlier this year.

McDonald had previously been charged in Georgia with sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl in 1998 and again in 2000. A jury convicted him of child molestation in the second encounter, but the Georgia Court of Appeals overturned the verdict in 2001.

Two other women have filed reports against McDonald with Georgia law enforcement, alleging sexual and physical abuse including rape and sodomy. He has been arrested in Georgia a number of times for possession of pornographic materials depicting children, court records show.

I posted about the father earlier in this thread and I have to say, the mother of the child should be taken to task for not keeping her daughter away from the father who clearly has issues and prior convictions.
Seriously? How did he even have access to this poor girl? Had that been my child.....

So if I'm reading this right he should have not only been allowed any alone time with his daughter based on his history, he should have been in jail?? How could you just destroy your daughters life like that? My youngest is 7 and she is so trusting. In any regards I got my question answered, they were all busted because the feds saw the "ad" the dad put up. Too bad they didn't see it sooner.
