Final Roll Call 4153. STLCO 10-42 10/13 @ 1519
A Riviera Beach couple is accused of locking two children in a closet at times, forcing them to sleep on the ground and feeding them food out of a bucket.
Quincy Hazel and Sabrina Golden-Hazel are now locked up the Palm Beach County Jail.
Investigators with the Riviera Beach Police Department said the children did not attend school and had never been to a doctor or dentist.
Police said the boy, 17, ran away a month ago and was afraid to go home. He hold investigators that at times, he would be so hungry that he would eat trash, the report said.
He is missing teeth and told investigators he often cries at night because of the pain in his mouth.
Investigators said a 12-year-old girl told a similar story.
Golden-Hazel told investigators she home schools the children, but police did not find any books in the home.
She also told investigators the two hadn't been to the doctor or dentist because they refused to go.
Hazel told investigators he never noticed any health or medical problems with the children.
Quincy Hazel and Sabrina Golden-Hazel have been charged with 2 counts of child neglect with great bodily harm.

Investigators say since 2012, police have had 9 service calls for the Hazel's address.
The most recent call came Sunday, with a report of child neglect in the home.
There were a total of nice calls in less than three years. According to a city spokeswoman, a call for service doesn’t mean they always have a reason to go inside and investigate allegations of abuse.
Records show Sabrina Hazel once ran a day care.
