Undercover police officers used online escort service ads to lead to the arrests of one man and three women, who they said arranged for paid sexual services at midstate hotels.

Robert Field, of St. Clair; Love Matiyna, of Wilmington, Delaware; and Brendelle Dotson and Christina Albino, each of Harrisburg, were arrested on prostitution-related charges on Thursday after they each agreed to meet with the undercover officers at a hotel on Corporate Circle in Susquehanna Township, according to township police.

Field was charged with soliciting a prostitute after he responded to an advertisement for "escorts" in the Harrisburg area that was placed on an Internet site. Police said he told the officer what sexual acts he wished to receive, agreed on a payment price for them and agreed to meet at the hotel.

Officers arrested Field when he arrived at the hotel and later released the man on a summons to appear in court at a later date.

Township police investigated a local website they said is often used for prostitution and found an ad that specifically listed a woman in a township hotel. An officer began a conversation with the woman and the pair came to an agreement on a specific sexual act and price in exchange for it.

Officers went to the hotel room number the woman provided and said they met Love, who allegedly admitted to working as prostitute.

Love was arraigned because she was from another state and later released on bail, police said.

An undercover officer first began a conversation with Dotson on March 13 through another ad listed on a local website. Dotson allegedly told the officer she was working out of a hotel on North Front Street and arranged a meeting.

Officers met Dotson, who provided a fake name and resisted arrest, police said. She was arraigned and placed in Dauphin County Prison on charges of prostitution, resisting arrest and providing false identification to law enforcement.

Township police received a complaint from a local hotel of a female they believed to be involved in prostitution, and investigators were able to identify the same female in another online ad.

As in the other cases, an officer contacted Albino, and the woman allegedly agreed to exchange specific sexual acts for money. Albino, police said, provided the investigators with her hotel room number.

Officers arrested Albino and later released the woman pending a summons for prostitution, police said.

Yeah I suppose I could see why that guy would consider paying for sex. Looks like he has had either a long life of alcoholism or he has recently found our good friend Meth. Eithe way he is looking rather rough.

I'm having a hard time articulating my overwhelming pride in my state at the moment.:sarcasm:
