Peyton Garza Possible Bitten By Buddy Bear A Pittbull

Peyton Garza is a 5yo girl who was bitten in the face by a dog on Friday.
“I was staring at him and he bite me,” said Peyton.
the owner of Buddy Bear. She said Peyton regularly came over to the apartment and was welcomed inside. She doesn’t know exactly what happened because she did not see the bite. Nor did anyone else. Police report the same fact, no one saw the actual bite or the moments just before.

There was another pit bul named Penny in the apartment as well. Peyton’s mom says her daughter is certain it was Buddy Bear who inflicted the injury. The dog’s owner, is not so sure.

This isn't a pit thing, its a dog thing. Stares are seen as a challenge for "alpha" status.

I had the same thing happen when I was about 5. My aunt owned these 2 shitzu's and there was a rule, no faces by the dogs face. My grandma was taking a picture of me petting the dogs one day and I forgot the golden rule and put my face beside the dog's, turned my head to look at him and he shredded my nose.Took my grandma and aunt to pull him off me. Thirty years later I still have the scars.

We were at Pet Smart one day and I saw a teenage girl with a large breed ( all I remember is it was not a pit bull) and this man kept standing at the end of the aisle staring at the dog with his eyes squinted. The dog was growling at him and pulling on the leash. I stared back at the man and he walked away but came right back, dog growling and pulling, I went and got a manager and told them what he was doing. They escorted him from the store.

Not talking about this 5yo because, well, she's five and depends on the adult around her to guide her. But as general whole most people are idiots.
