A Georgia granny's casket was used to smuggle drugs to prison inmates, police say.

prison officers had escorted the shackled duo to the wake on Thursday. It is believed they retrieved the stash, thought to have been hidden by other relatives, when they were briefly left alone by the casket to grieve.

"This incident illustrates the audacity of this generation of jail inmates," Bibb County Sheriff David Davis told

Prison staff also found tobacco, a lighter and a cellphone on Vinson. Both inmates were charged with marijuana possession and bringing contraband to jail.

Vinson has been in jail since July 28 for an undisclosed FBI matter, while Rouse has been locked up on a string of crimes since July 4, including involvement with a street gang, obstruction and prior drug charges.

I haven't been surprised at what the sub-humans among us will do since I read about the 12 y.o. American boy who was killed in Columbia while visiting relatives whose body was shipped back to the U.S. gutted, stuffed with cocaine. Sub. Humans.

Summary of Rumor
A two year old boy disappears while visiting Mexico with his parents. Forty five minutes later, at the border, the mother spots a man carrying the child but when the man realizes she is the boy's mother, he drops the child and runs. The child is dead and authorities later discover that most of his internal organs have been removed and replaced with packages of cocaine. Smugglers were going to cross the border with what appeared to be a sleeping child in order to get the drug into the U.S.
