I'm not going to derail the Pulse thread any further, but someone specifically challenged me to provide an example where a conceal carry owner prevented deaths in a mass shooting situation. Well, here ya go.
This was a dumbass spraying shots into a crowd, moreso than an organized attack like in Orlando, but the example is still valid. This man could have easily killed multiple patrons, and the fact is he stopped shooting and was apprehended by police as a direct result of taking a bullet of his own.
Conveniently enough, there were 11 more examples linked within the same thread. Not all of these happened in commercial locations (some are residential incidents), but regardless... Very different outcomes would have been had if the intended victims were unarmed.
