Logan Hunter Rogers, 23, was arrested on suspicion of manslaughter and reckless child endangering.

The toddler was reported missing Wednesday night by his grandfather in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Investigators said the grandfather had not seen the child since Saturday.

"Through several interviews, we learned the child was, in fact, deceased," Captain Linda Gesell with the Laramie County Sheriff's Office told Denver7. "A party in the home took the child and dumped it in a Dumpster at our community college."

Gesell said the trash from the Dumpster was taken to the landfill in Ault, Colorado. That's in Weld County.

The Laramie County Sheriff's Office said investigators plan to search the landfill on Monday. Authorities told Denver7 they believe they have the site narrowed down to a specific "newer" area of the dump, where investigators will have to search through approximately 200,000 pounds of garbage.

The mother of the baby told deputies a man by the name of Santiago was with the baby on a fishing trip, but those allegations turned out to be false, according to Gesell. Investigators said there is, in fact, a family friend by the name of Santiago but after interviewing him, officials believe he is not involved in any way with baby's death.

Investigators have not yet released how Rogers knew the baby or the baby's mother.

Investigators said they executed a search warrant at a residence in Cheyenne Thursday night and biological evidence was taken from the home.

Rogers was due in court Friday, but the hearing was postponed when Rogers decided to talk with detectives.

The man suspected in the disappearance of a Cheyenne toddler has been sentenced to no less than 18 years and no more than 20 years in prison (the maximum).

Logan Rogers appeared in court Friday morning, after pleading Guilty to manslaughter and reckless child endangerment in November

Judge Thomas Campbell handed down that sentencing to Rogers as the family members of 13 month old Silas Ojeda asked for the maximum sentence.

Rogers had several outbursts in court, saying he wanted to withdraw his plea. He said everything he told investigators during in the investigation was a lie and he is innocent.

However, Judge Campbell ignored those outbursts, saying he was “having a little trouble struggling with this outburst today but [Rogers] has made the situation that he arrived at.”

Campbell went on to say there were many considerations when handing out sentences, including criminal history, remorse, and acceptance of responsibility.

Cheyenne woman whose 13-month-old son’s body is believed to be in a northern Colorado landfill is facing felony child endangerment charges.

According to arresting documents, 26-year-old Rhiannon Ojeda was arrested around 4:20 p.m. Thursday for child endangerment with meth and child endangering. She has not made her initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court yet.

The Laramie County Sheriff’s Department, with the assistance of multiple agencies, has been searching for Silas Ojeda’s body in a landfill west of Ault, Colorado since November 1.

Ojeda’s boyfriend, 23-year-old Logan Rogers, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and child endangering with a controlled substance in the boy’s death and faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.

Investigators say Rogers told them the boy died after falling off a counter at home and that Rogers wrapped him in a white comforter and put him in a dumpster near Laramie County Community College.
She looks like Marilyn manson without make up.

Well here’s an interesting article dated June 2022. It says Silas’s case is still open and that he’s listed as a Missing Person. Some law guy said they have a person of interest even though Logan pleaded guilty to manslaughter and received an 18-20 year sentence. He tried to renig on his guilty plea at his sentencing swearing that Silas is still alive. Asshole. Law enforcement doesn’t believe he is alive, but maybe they will get to the truth of what really happened.
Child Endangerment charges against mom were dropped, but can’t help but wonder if she’s their person of interest.

When will these stupid men realize -

You hate the kid of the woman you are fucking. Why the hell would you think she will defend and wait for you after you kill her kid when she would not even protect or defend the child that came from her body.

Yes that was one hell of a run on sentence but dammit I can't imagine any pussy or dick is that good that good you would risk your life or freedom for it.
