The ceremony apparently took place last month, when Ulrich was awarded “the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Dannebrog,” one of the higher honors in Danish society. It’s unclear whether Ulrich will now depart the massively successful metal band in order to roam the country, slaying dragons, battling duels, and engaging in other album-art-ready antics, or if he’ll limit himself to his ongoing war with the other members of Metallica, instead.
