Giant Panda Sleds On His Back During Snowstorm At The Toronto Zoo

Someone get that panda a sled.

The Toronto Zoo released a video of its popular panda Da Mao sliding down a hill in its habitat as the snow began to fall

Though he's only been in Canada since March 2013, the panda instantly took to the country's cold weather and major snowstorms.

Maria Franke, the zoo's curator of mammals, told

Da Mao loves the weather.

"He loves the snow even more when it's fresh and it's actually snowing," she said. "He makes his own luge track, his own toboggan hill.

Since the previous winter began, the zoo has done a collection of videos featuring Da Mao playing in the snow.

Though he still has difficulty trudging through the frozen terrain — frequently sliding and tumbling in the white stuff — he soldiers on

It's a good thing Da Mao likes the snow because he's going to see a lot of it. He and his panda companion Er Shun will remain at the zoo until 2018 when they will be moved to Calgary
