Witness: I Saw Sandusky And Penn State Booster Abuse Boys On Private Plane

A witness interviewed by federal authorities in the widening Penn State investigation claims he saw Jerry Sandusky and one of the school's prominent boosters sexually abusing boys on a private plane, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.

The witness was interviewed by the U.S. Postal Inspectors with the FBI present. RadarOnline.com broke the news that a new investigation into a pedophile ring is now being conducted by federal authorities.

And while Postal Inspectors are also trying to determine if Sandusky shared pornography through the mail and sent seductive letters to his victims, the biggest bombshell is the allegation leveled by the witness who was interviewed within the past few weeks.

That man, who has a strong tie to the booster he is accusing, says that Sandusky and the booster abused two boys on a private plane in Pennsylvania, a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com exclusively.

"The witness doesn't know if the boys are victims who have already been identified or not," the source told Radar. "He claims it happened on a private plane, with no pilot or crew around and that he was an eyewitness.

"His claim is being taken seriously by investigators. They have already asked another man who is connected to one of the victims if he knew anything about this. And they are following up with other potential witnesses."

PHOTOS: Celebs Who Have Done Jail Time

While Postal Inspectors have taken the lead in the investigation into possibly mailed material, the FBI was present during the interview of this witness and is continuing to probe.

"This witness has some baggage," the source said. "The Feds are going to need to corroborate what he says. But he is adamant that he is telling the truth. And that raises questions about why he didn't report what he saw at the time.

"Unfortunately he's not the only person involved in this who didn't do the right thing when they should have."

PHOTOS: Celebrity Mugshots

The child sexual abuse scandal destroyed the reputation and legacy of Penn State football head coach Joe Paterno, led to the conviction of former coach Sandusky on 45 sexual abuse charges and severe NCAA sanctions against the university.

But the worst may be still ahead.

"If the Feds can prove what this witness is saying then a sickening situation just got worse," the source said. "The witness does not know who the boys are and if they were from Sandusky's Second Mile charity. He can prove his tie to the booster but the Feds are going to have to prove the rest."

Jerry Sandusky Found Guilty!

Both the FBI and the U.S. Postal Investigators have declined to comment to RadarOnline.com on the investigation.

The witness has also refused to comment and his former attorney told Radar that he would not comment about a client.

But RadarOnline com has obtained documents that financially tie the witness to the booster. Those documents show a significant and tangled relationship between the two men.

Penn State University announced Monday that its accreditation could be threatened as a result of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal.

The Middle States Commission on Higher Education notified the university Aug. 8 that it has issued an accreditation warning based on information contained in the Freeh Report and the consent decree with the NCAA, President Rodney Erickson said on the school’s website.

The commission stressed that Penn State’s accreditation remains intact.

“This action has nothing to do with the quality of education our students receive. Middle States is focusing on governance, integrity and financial issues related to information in the Freeh Report and other items related to our current situation,â€￾ said Blannie Bowen, vice provost for academic affairs.

The commission is requiring Penn State to submit a monitoring report by Sept. 30.
http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2012/08/penn_state_university_receives.html

Commission spokesman Richard Pokrass said it was very unusual for an NCAA Division I school to receive a warning from the group.

Of the more than 530 schools accredited by the Middle States Commission in 2011, 23 were placed on warning that year, according to statistics compiled by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Among more than 7,800 schools accredited nationally, 161 were placed on warning in 2011.

A warning does not immediately jeopardize a school's accreditation, which it must maintain to receive federal funds and to be an NCAA member.

In a definition included in its public disclosure statement regarding Penn State, the commission states that when it warns a school, "It believes that, although the institution is out of compliance (with the commission's accreditation standards), the institution has the capacity both to make appropriate improvements within a reasonable period and to sustain itself in the long term."

Penn State must submit a report to the commission by Sept. 30 that includes information about its progress toward compliance with the commission's standards and about "the institution's capacity and plans for addressing financial obligations that will or may result from the investigation and related settlements, etc.," the public disclosure statement said. A commission team then will visit the school and make a report to which Penn State will be able to respond before the commission reconsiders the school's status.

"We certainly understand the concerns that Middle States has raised, but I am confident that we will satisfy those concerns," Blannie Bowen, Penn State's vice provost for academic affairs and accrediting liaison officer, said in a school news release.

Another example of Penn State putting the cover up of wrongdoing ahead of children and doing the right thing...

While Penn State continues to pay the legal expenses of former university officials Gary Shultz and Tim Curley, it is not footing the bills for a key witness against Jerry Sandusky at his child sex abuse trial, Mike McQueary, NBC News has learned.
Schultz, a former senior vice president at Penn State, and Curley, the former athletic coordinator, are accused of lying to a grand jury about what they knew of sex abuse allegations against Sandusky. Their case faced its first test in court on Thursday, when defense lawyers argued that the charges should be dismissed.

McQueary, a former Penn State assistant coach, testified before a grand jury and at Sandusky’s trial that he saw Sandusky raping a boy as young as 10 in a locker room shower at Penn State in 2002. McQueary testified that he reported the incident to Joe Paterno, Penn State’s legendary former football coach, and later spoke to Tim Curley and Gary Schultz, a meeting that according to McQueary’s testimony took 15 minutes......

A Penn State spokesman cited university bylaws in explaining why the legal bills of both Curley and Schultz are being covered. “(Employees)shall be entitled as of right to be indemnified by the University against expenses (including counsel fees) and any liability (including judgments, fines, penalties, excise taxes and amounts paid in settlement),” they read.

But Penn State is not obligated to pay legal fees for McQueary, and has not done so, the spokesman said.

McQueary has testified that he felt he carried out his obligation to report the crime when he spoke to Paterno, Schultz and Curley shortly after witnessing the 2002 incident.

More HERE.

The whistle-blower doesn't have his legal fees covered.... makes everyone want to rush right out and let someone know when they caught a higher up fucking a kid up the ass. He might not have been a PAID employee but he was an employee at the time of the incident as well as a student and he was an employee until they decided not to renew his contact. Dude should have called the police, true, but he was the ONLY one who said anything to anyone willingly and he at least tried. Hell, he was a kid himself when this happened. He has some excuse however paltry. AND he fucking testified against the baby-fucker.

I just hope the judge hears that shit. He'll put it as part of his sentence that he can't profit (or at least he'd better).

A young man who testified against Jerry Sandusky sued Penn State on Friday, blaming the university for how its top officials dealt with complaints that the former assistant football coach behaved inappropriately with boys.

The lawsuit filed by the person known as Victim 1 at Sandusky's trial said university officials made deliberate decisions not to report Sandusky to authorities.

Those decisions were "a function of (Penn State's) purposeful, deliberate and shameful subordination of the safety of children to its economic self-interests, and to its interest in maintaining and perpetuating its reputation,'' the suit said.
[...]

The suit alleges negligence, fraudulent concealment, intentional infliction of emotional distress and civil conspiracy. It asks for compensatory and punitive damages.

Victim 1 is known as "John Doe C'' in the complaint. The suit names no other defendants than the State College university.
[...]

The lawsuit also claimed that a ``special relationship'' between Penn State and The Second Mile, a Sandusky-founded charity for youth, gave Sandusky a respectable public image and connections that enabled him to perform criminal acts.

It alleges "(Penn State) believed its reputation and economic interests would be adversely impacted if the public learned that a man closely associated with the school's football program was, in fact, a pedophile.''
[...]

Another Sandusky accuser has filed a federal lawsuit related to the scandal and a second victim has filed a court notice that he will file complaint. Lawyers have suggested others may take legal action.

Penn State fans will notice some significant differences Saturday when the Nittany Lions open the 2012 college football season against Ohio University.

Some will be obvious - such as the presence of new head coach Bill O'Brien, hired in January to replace the late Joe Paterno, and the fact that the players will have their names on the back of their jerseys for the first time in Penn State history.

Other changes will be more subtle as Penn State attempts to move forward after the Jerry Sandusky trial and harsh NCAA sanctions.

The non-band-related music will feature mostly what has been part of the mix inside the stadium the past few years. And while the Boston Red Sox, Pitt football and others have elevated "Sweet Caroline" to a staple for their games, that popular PSU tradition may be interrupted or discontinued.

Some concerns by university officials about its lyrics - "touching you touching me" - and the perception of people singing along to them in light of the recent scandal have been expressed.

A final decision will be made this week.

(Editor's note: The Mirror has now received confirmation that "Sweet Caroline" will not be included in the musical play list for Penn State games this season.)

Sandusky On Eve Of Sentencing: I Was Railroaded In Child Sex-Abuse Case

Disgraced former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky is heard denying child sex-abuse allegations in a recorded message that has surfaced online on the eve of his sentencing.

The Penn State College of Communications on Monday posted a nearly three-minute recording from Sandusky in which the convicted pedophile says a variety of individuals, including false accusers and the media, conspired against him.

“A young man who was dramatic a veteran accuser, and always sought attention, started everything. He was joined by a well-orchestrated effort of the media, investigators, the system, Penn State, psychologists, civil attorneys and other accusers. They won. I’ve wondered what they really won: Attention, financial gain, prestige,â€￾ Sandusky says, adding it will “all be temporary.â€￾

Sandusky says he may have been portrayed as a monster, but “they can’t take away my heart.â€￾

“In my heart, I know I did not do these alleged disgusting acts. My wife has been my only sex partner, and that was after marriage. Our love continues,â€￾ Sandusky says in the recording.

The ComMedia website offers no context about how the recording was made or who provided it.

Sandusky was expected to speak before his trial judge Tuesday at his sentencing. The 68-year-old, once known as an advocate for neglected children, was convicted in June of sexually abusing several boys over 15 years. In some instances, Sandusky attacked the minors in Penn State athletic facilities.

On Tuesday, a judge sentenced former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky to 30-60 years in prison. Sandusky had previously been convicted on dozens of charges related to his sexual abuse of 10 young boys. Prior to the sentencing, Sandusky read a jailhouse statement on Monday stating his innocence and claiming that he’s the victim of a conspiracy.

Sandusky’s appearance has changed dramatically since his conviction. He’s lost a considerable amount of weight.

He and his lawyer Joseph Amendola are happy to have the sentencing behind them because it means they can start the appeals process. Amendola plans to appeal on the grounds that Sandusky was denied his due process rights.

With little ado, Senior Judge John Cleland this morning designated former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky as a sexually violent predator under Megan's Law.

Sandusky, dressed in a bright red prison uniform, did not contest the designation that was recommendation by the state Sexual Offenders Assessment Board based on his convictions for molesting young boys.

As a predator, the 68-year-old Sandusky will have to register with police for life, if he ever gets out of prison. His neighbors also will be told of his convictions and there will be continual sex offender counseling.
http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2012/10/jerry_sandusky_sentencing_hear.html

In handing down the sentence, after hearing from victims, Judge John Cleland said: "I’m not going to sentence you to centuries in prison, although the law would permit that. It's too abstract, only a big number.

"You are sentenced to spnd not less than 30 and not less than 60 years in prison that has the unmistakeable impact of saying the rest of your life.

"I think it cannot be disputed that you have done much positive work, tragedy that all the qualities that made you successful continue to conceal the vices that brought you down. Continuing to conceal those vices from yourself and everybody else, in my view, makes you dangerous.

"The crime is not only what you did to their bodies, but the assault to their psyches and souls and the assault to the well-being of the larger community in which we all live."

That is pretty fucking impressive. Could we get this crack team working on world peace and the cure for cancer while they're at it?

The point of a multi-century conviction is to tell fucking assholes like this how fucking wrong they are and to guarantee that child-fuckers that live more than 100 years don't ever get out. This sentence pisses me off and validates Sandusky's belief that he is completely innocent because it is a slap on the wrist.

Sandusky will be 98 before he can even be considered for parole. I'm not worried about him getting out of prison alive. He'll die there no matter how many years they pile on him. Hopefully he'll live out his days in General Population, sharing his showers with Bubba.

He spoke at sentencing: (oblivious and thinking this is all about him)
When given the chance to speak, Sandusky stood before Cleland in his red prison uniform and proclaimed that he is innocent, despite all the testimony presented to the contrary.

He promised to appeal in a bid to clear his name, thanked his loved ones and others who are still standing by him, and said how much he misses his wife, Dottie, and other relatives, along with his dog. He urged his wife and other supporters to "stay strong."

Sandusky counseled against "closing the book" on his case following his sentencing. "There's a lot more to learn," he said.

His statement rambled at times as he talked about the trauma and loneliness of being in prison these last several months. He lamented how he spent his last wedding anniversary behind bars.

Sandusky said that, although he professes to be innocent, he hopes that the attention surrounding his case deters molesters from abusing children. "Maybe this will help others," he said. "Some vulnerable children who might have been abused ought not to be because of this publicity."

He said he doubts that will happen, however.

Sandusky cited a letter he said he received from a man he claimed to have helped as a child. "You are my lifeline," Sandusky read. "There were many times that I wanted to give up. I didn't because I wanted to make you proud."

People can portray him as a monster, Sandusky said, "but they can't take away my heart. And in my heart I know I did not do these alleged disgusting acts."
http://www.pennlive.com/midstate/index.ssf/2012/10/jerry_sandusky_sentence_of_30.html

"The pain continues as I think of those who made the allegations. These are people I cared about, and still do," he said.

"I tried to bring joy, I tried to make people laugh," he said of his work at The Second Mile charity he founded and where he was accused of recruiting his victims.

Breaking into sobs as he talked about his family, he said: "We will continue to fight. There is much to fight."
http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/10/09/us-usa-pennstate-idUSBRE8960IO20121009

A defiant Sandusky gave a rambling statement in which he denied the allegations and talked about his life in prison and the pain of being away from his family.

“I’ve forgiven, I’ve been forgiven. I’ve comforted others, I’ve been comforted. I’ve been kissed by dogs, I’ve been bit by dogs,” he said. “I’ve conformed, I’ve also been different. I’ve been me. I’ve been loved, I’ve been hated.”
[...]

Three victims spoke, often fighting back tears. One looked Sandusky in the eyes at times. Two of the men exchanged a long embrace after court was adjourned.
[...]

Among the three victims who spoke Tuesday, a young man who said he was 11 when Sandusky groped him in a shower in 1998. He said Sandusky is in denial and should “stop coming up with excuses.”

“I’ve been left with deep painful wounds that you caused and had been buried in the garden of my heart for many years,” he said.

Another man said he was 13 when, in 2001, Sandusky lured him into a Penn State sauna and then a shower and then forced him to touch the ex-coach.

“I am troubled with flashbacks of his naked body, something that will never be erased from my memory,” he said. “Jerry has harmed children, of which I am one of them.”
http://cleveland.cbslocal.com/2012/...m-troubled-with-flashbacks-of-his-naked-body/

the reason Sandusky spoke out the night before was b/c the judge had said that day in a memo to the lawyers that "he wouldnt allow blaming of the victims in any statements made after being sentenced"
So Sanduskys lawyer decided to bring a recorder into the jail and and make that recording and release
otherwise he wasnt going to be able to push blame on someone else

You can't have morals and be a lawyer, that's all there is to it
I'll never forget when I was in school and asked a lawyer if he would defend someone he knew was guilty
His answer, "I don't concern myself with guilt, I'm only concerned with whether constitutionally he can be held responsible"

yep I agree
I just happened to catch something on tv lastnight explaining this recording that came out
Because everyone was asking what the fuck were they thinking
And this lawyer had been in the room when the calls were made about no blaming of the victims would be allowed in his statements the following day
Like he said not anyone can walk into jail and visit whoever they want with a recorder or without

The purpose of a defense lawyer is to see that even the guilty get their constitutional right to a fair trial. Can you imagine a trial without that? (kangaroo courts and Nazis come to mind) God forbid an innocent person gets caught up in such a fiasco! One could probably get the death penalty for jaywalking without the consitutional protections and the folks that make sure they happen.

There are many defense lawyers I do not like because of their tactics but I do know many (my father once practiced criminal defense and my grandfather who went on to be a judge) and have great respect for the job that most of them do. I would not have the stomach to do such a job and deal with the clients.

The lawyer was the one that made the recording and released it to PennState Radio. It's a stupid move and does nothing to promote Sandusky's proclamation of innocence. It only makes him look worse.

But there seems nothing illegal in Sandusky making the statement. We see jailhouse interviews on TV all the time... both on local and national levels (like on 48 hours). It wasn't made in the courtroom and there were no gag orders on public speaking from the judge. While not illegal, it obviously (to everyone except the defense) wasn't the wisest move. Like you said... "what the fuck were they thinking?"

Since I have been on midnights for decades I watch World News Now and this week (and alot of weeks actually) they have a fill in news caster named Judge Sunny (I cant remember her last name)
but shes not that old and is already a retired criminal court judge that did many child molestation/rape cases
Can prob find lastnights broadcast online and she said if she had been on his case and he released that recording he wouldve gotten the 450 years just to show victims its o.k to come forward and people are on the victims side

Judges. like lawyers, have a bit of discretion. In this case, neither the judge or the lawyers used it wisely.

If Judge Sunny had been on the case, Sandusky probably would have got 450 just for the conviction intself. I think the 30-60 he got is a disgrace. The only saving thought for it is that he's an old fucker and will die in prison. He's also well enough known that he can't hide from Bubba, either. I'm sure the Bubbas know who he is... the few that don't know will get clued in quickly.

they will have him in protection...they said that it will take longer to find the right spot for him
b/c in that state theres a sexual offender area but no child sexual offender area like there are in other state prisons
he doesnt deserve protection but I know they HAVE to

I know nothing about states and convicts....
can they send him out of state??
I hope not Id like to see him scared for rest of his life looking around corners and afraid of showers
b/c basically almost every murder in prison is in showers so that evidence goes down the drain I guess
and guards cant hear as well over the running water
hoping he ends up with guards that accidently leave showers unlocked on purpose

States often accept out of state convicts. Sometimes it's done for security reasons, other times for space reasons. The man who murdered my sister was convicted in Colorado. He spent his time in prison in Texas. We didn't object to the move because Texas prisons are way shittier than Colorado prisons.

I doubt there is any prison where Sandusky would be unknown for long.

This guy just continues to make me sick, sick, sick! What a monumental fuck-up to write a letter to the judge before sentencing blaming the victims! And his wife did it, too! I am glad they are so fucking stupid. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I want him to die, but I want it to be a long time time coming, and I want it to be painful, frightening and lonely. As for his bitchfacecuntofawife, someone needs to take her out ASAP. She is a lying secondhandwhore who helped condition these kids for her husbands depraved appetites, and it doesn't look as if the system is going to do a damn thing about her. She needs to be locked up, die or disappear so Sandusky has NO ONE to banter this shit about with. :mad2:

ETA: And I don't care what reason the judge gave for saying 30-60 years. Stupid to say "otherwise it's just a large number". Do it anyway and make an impact! WE all know he won't serve 450 years, he's going to die, but it can make a difference in the psyche of the victims. It shows that what they went through mattered, that them coming forward mattered. And in this case, since it was essentially a death in prison sentence and not handed down to some 21 yo, it needed to happen, especially with his smarmy, egotistical ass on display for all to see.

When all was said and done, Jerry and Dottie Sandusky did not ask the judge for mercy. They did not try to extol Jerry's virtues, list good deeds or express regret. Instead, they depicted the boys he sexually assaulted as ungrateful and called them liars.

They blamed the young men -- including their own adopted son, Matt, who now claims he, too, was molested -- for their downfall.

In letters to the judge who would sentence the former coach, the Sanduskys portrayed themselves as virtuous victims of a vast conspiracy. They blamed powerful, image-conscious forces at Penn State University, lying cops, ambitious prosecutors and a scandal-hungry news media.

The couple's letters were mentioned in court on Tuesday but not read aloud. Judge John Cleland and the Centre County courts made them public, and CNN obtained copies.

In them, Jerry Sandusky expressed little sympathy for the 10 boys he was convicted of molesting. As he wrote about their families, he tried to shift the blame, pointing out that the boys came from unstable homes.
[...]

(Sandusky's) performances on air and in the courtroom were widely derided by prosecutors, legal analysts and commentators as narcissistic, self-absorbed and self-defeating.

Jerry Sandusky's letter expanded on the rambling, 15-minute courtroom soliloquy that touched on everything from the writer Henry David Thoreau to "special inmate friends" to wet kisses from dogs. Like that speech, it was part locker room pep talk and part Sunday school inspirational, with a heaping side order of the Frank Sinatra ballad "My Way."

He wrote about life in protective custody, and how it led him to think about all the interests that were being protected as the case unfolded: "The system protected the system, the media, the prosecution, the civil attorneys and the accusers. Everybody protected themselves," he wrote.

"Penn State, with its own system, protected their public image," he continued. "Media protected their jobs and ambitions. Prosecutors protected their jobs and egos. The accusers were protected and provided access to potential financial gain, free attorneys, accolades, psychologists and attention."

"My trust in people, systems and fairness has diminished," he said. "In my heart I know I did not do these disgusting acts. However, I didn't tell the jury. Our son changed our plans when he switched sides."
[...]

The Sanduskys spared no one.

"There were so many people involved in the orchestration of this conviction (media, investigators, prosecutors, "the system," Penn State and the accusers.) It was well done. They won!" Jerry Sandusky wrote, as if a tragic court case about molested children was an epic gridiron contest.

"When I thought about how it had transpired, I wondered what they had won," he continued. "I thought of the methods, decisions and allegations. I relived the inconsistencies and dishonest testimonies." He pondered what would happen if the tables were turned.

"What would be the outcome if all the accusers and their families who were investigated?" he wrote. "I knew the answer. All their issues would surface. They would no longer be these poor, innocent people as portrayed."
[...]

Karl Rominger, a lawyer for Sandusky, also did not respond to a request for comment. A spokesman for the State Attorney General's office said prosecutors "stand by" what they said Tuesday about Sandusky's victim and system bashing. Joseph McGettigan described Sandusky's behavior as "banal, self-delusional, completely untethered from reality. It was entirely-self-focused, as if he himself were the victim."
http://www.cnn.com/2012/10/10/justice/pennsylvania-sandusky-letters/index.html

Jerry Sandusky's wife, in a letter to the judge deciding her husband's fate, stood by him as a "man of very high morals" and trashed their adopted son for saying that he, too, had been sexually abused by his father.

"People need to know what kind of person he is," Dorothy "Dottie" Sandusky wrote of son Matt, 33, in the document, sent two weeks after her husband's conviction and obtained by The Inquirer this week.

This is exactly what I had read this morning that prompted me to come and comment up above. But, I just had to read it again after you posted it and now I am madder than ever. And I feel like I'm going to puke.
I was wondering what you were talking about so had to run off and find it.
