When Carol Suchman passed the Hudson Party Store in Manhattan's West Village earlier this week and noticed it was closing down she knew there was only one thing for it.


In she went, spoke to the flabbergasted owner and bought the lot - down to the very last inflatable reindeer.


The philanthropist normally donates toys for foster children's birthdays, but decided to expand her giving this year and negotiated with the store's owner to buy everything inside.

Suchman, who with her husband started a technology public relations agency that they later sold, then donated the toys to New York City's Department of Homeless Services.

This right here could be the basis for Toy Story 5. :D

All those toys were probably cowering on the shelves, thinking they had no hope of being sold and homed to loving children before the store permanently shuttered... fearing being shipped back to the warehouse, boxed up and forgotten.

And then this brilliant awesome woman comes along, swooping in and making sure every last toy has a home and a child that will love them. :)
