10 Week Old Maddux Found With His Snout Tethered Shut

A puppy was found in Atlanta this week with his mouth tied shut, and now he's in need of a forever home.

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue said little "Maddux" was found near an Atlanta shelter as a stray with his "snout tethered shut."

"Likely taped," Angels Among Us said. "Who could be so cruel?"

Maddux, who's about 10-weeks-old and a mixed breed, is expected to make a slow, but steady, full recovery. However, his vet said his mouth is swollen and infected from being tied shut.

"We feel so frustrated that people can do this to innocent creatures, but we are grateful for your help in fighting these injustices and righting the wrongs," Angels Among Us said.
