A 20-year-old man has been arrested for holding a woman against her will in a Queens basement and forcing her into prostitution, officials said Wednesday.

A 911 operator received a call from the 20-year-old victim Tuesday claiming that she was locked in a basement with another woman. The two were being forced to perform sex acts on a group of men, she said.

The operator then heard a scream and the phone went dead, officials said.

Police called the number back, but this time a man answered and immediately hung up the phone.

Cops traced the phone call to an address on 196th St. in Hollis, Queens, where an older couple said their son regularly entertains friends in the basement

Cops went to the basement and found a mattress on the floor surrounded by used condoms and marijuana residue.

The basement was abandoned by the time cops arrived.

Further investigation led police to a second address on 161st St., where they found the victim who called 911 and suspect Dayshawn Preston.

Preston, who is not the son of the couple from 196th St., was charged with assault, sex trafficking, promoting prostitution and unlawful imprisonment.
