MURDER squad detectives are searching for the boyfriend of an ex-EastEnders actress after three bodies were found by police looking for the performer and her two children.

Shocked neighbours of Sian Blake, 43, who played Frankie Pierre in the hit soap, broke down in tears after the discovery in the garden of her home in Erith, Kent.

She vanished with her sons Zachary, eight, and Amon, four, in east London on December 13. Three days later, police interviewed her partner, the children's father Arthur Simpson-Kent, 48, at the family home, before he also disappeared.

Officers made the grim discovery earlier today and launched a murder inquiry. Post-mortem examinations will be carried out on Wednesday on the bodies, which have yet to be formally identified.

Speaking outside Scotland Yard, Detective Superintendent Paul Monk said: "Sadly today we found three bodies in the back garden of their home address and as such, this is now a murder investigation. . .

Police have discovered three bodies at the home of EastEnders actress Sian Blake, who vanished last month along with her two young sons.

The bodies - yet to be formally identified - were found in the garden of the property in Erith, Kent, and police confirmed a murder investigation is under way.

The 43-year-old - who played Frankie Pierre in the long-running soap - disappeared with Zachary, eight, and Amon, four, on December 13.

Three days after she disappeared, her partner, the children’s father Arthur Simpson-Kent, 48, was interviewed at the family’s home.

He also later disappeared and police have repeated appeals to find him

My heart sank when I read the update, the first article on Jan 1 mentioned she had motor neurone disease, I sure the bf/father spouted off something to her family and the police that she was feeling better and wanted a trip away with her kids for the holidays.

I thought that might be the case. And in the meanwhile he used the opportunity to supposedly escape the country.

Blake is reported to have been battling motor neurone disease. One of her neighbours, Sandra Metzgen, told the Sun: “Sian has motor neurone disease and I think it has got worse. A few Sundays ago she came down the steps to her house and said she wasn’t too good. An ambulance has been called out a couple of times too.

A former EastEnders actress's husband who is being sought by police after three bodies were found at their home has left the UK, the BBC understands.

Detectives want to speak to Arthur Simpson-Kent, 48, the partner of Sian Blake, over the discovery in the garden of the house in south-east London.

She and the couple's sons have not been seen since 13 December.

The BBC understands Mr Simpson-Kent arrived in Ghana some time after 16 December and before Christmas Day.

A 30-year-old neighbour, who did not give her name, said: "She was a lovely, caring lady. I was hoping she was just hiding away to have her last Christmas. I wish I had been a better neighbour. I'm devastated."

Eastenders” actress Sian Blake and her two young sons were discovered in the garden of the family’s south-east London home on Wednesday.

Blake, 43, along with Zachary Bilal Kent-Blake, 8, and Amon Ben George Kent-Blake, 4, had not been seen since Dec. 13 and were officially reported missing three days later, according to BBC News.

A police spokesperson said they had died from “head and neck injuries.”

Blake’s partner, Arthur Simpson-Kent, is being sought by police in connection to the deaths, and it is suspected that he may have left the U.K. for Ghana.

The 48-year-old, who played Frankie Pierre on the long-running BBC soap from 1996 and 1997, disappeared after speaking to detectives on Dec. 16.

“Unfortunately, I believe Arthur was responsible. I want him to face justice and explain why,” Sian’s sister, Ava Blake, told ITV News. “He’ll have to answer to the courts of this country and to God eventually.”

It looks like they were buried in her back yard for 20 days. Since they went missing.

The family are understandably upset about the length of time it took police to discover this.

This is the 2nd Eastenders actress to meet a violent end in recent times.

Here it is. Jennifer McCluskie. Murdered by her brother in 2012

She was killed by being hit over the head at least twice and her body was hacked into six pieces using a cleaver and a knife.

The next day, McCluskie lugged a heavy suitcase to a local cab firm and was last seen taking it towards the canal.

Miss McCluskie's torso was found a week later when the case snapped open, and her limbs were found in black bags a week later.

But her head was not found for six months when it too was discovered in the water.

Miss McCluskie who played Kerry Skinner, the niece of Ethel Skinner, on screen in 2001, was immediately missed.

Chopped up...this used to be my biggest fear, but recently I have shifted my thinking from being worried that my ghost would never find all my pieces, to telling myself that my ghost would haunt my butcher every time they found a peice instead.

Three bodies found in the garden of former actress Sian Blake are those of the former EastEnders star and her two children, police have confirmed.

[doublepost=1453323847,1452287151][/doublepost]In 12 January:

The partner of former EastEnders actress Sian Blake has been remanded in custody in Ghana and told he will face an extradition hearing.

Arthur Simpson-Kent, 48, appeared at Kaneshie Magistrates' Court in Accra. He has been remanded for two weeks.

He left the UK on 19 December following the deaths of his former partner Ms Blake, 43, and their two young sons, Zachary, eight, and four year-old Amon.

The British government is yet to submit the request for his extradition.

Arthur Simpson-Kent, 49, has pleaded guilty to the killings and is being sentenced at the Old Bailey.

The court heard he killed them in December and later fled to Ghana.

The cannabis dealer faces whole life sentences for killing Ms Blake, who had motor neurone disease, and their children.

The court heard that Ms Blake's illness and her "unhealthy" relationship led her to consider selling their home and moving back in with her family.

She had spoken to her mother, Lindell Blake, about the four of them moving in with her but her mother said Simpson Kent could not come, which Ms Blake "appeared to accept".

Mark Heywood QC, prosecuting, said: "The evidence suggests, and this much is not disputed, that, on the night of December 14, 2015, the defendant killed each of them in turn with heavy, deliberate, repeated blows with a blunt instrument not since recovered, and then by cutting and stabbing them with a bladed weapon in a way that ensured their deaths.

When interviewed by detectives in Accra, he claimed there had been a murder-suicide pact between him and Ms Blake because of her illness - but nothing was written down.

Don't be on Eastenders I guess is the lesson here.

The partner of former EastEnders actress Sian Blake has been given a whole life tariff for killing her and their two children.

All three were hit on the head before they were stabbed in the neck or throat with a small axe by Simpson-Kent, who then buried their bodies in the garden last December.

He painted over the blood stains in their bungalow in Erith, south-east London, before fleeing to his native Ghana in January.

The judge refused Simpson-Kent's claim that he was depressed and had planned on killing himself.
