if I ever were gonna go totally I'm gonna kill a bunch of people I would at least research and make sure I was actually getting intended targets that would matter. This dude just put himself in a world of hurt with everyone and due to his past activities and major fails probably won't last in the yard for more than an hour which is good riddance

By the time trial is done 100%, appeals heard and hopefully denied he'll die of natural causes. I guess they have to set an example but he will never see the death penalty played out. Not to mention there will be at least one juror, who should have never been picked to begin with, who will refuse to an old man to death.

After the verdict was announced, Miller, 74, of Aurora, Missouri, said: "The fat lady just sang." As jurors were filing out of the courtroom, he raised his right arm in the Nazi salute and told them: "You probably won't sleep tonight."

The judge reminded Miller that the same jury will decide his sentence. He could get the death penalty. The sentencing proceedings were expected to begin Tuesday.

During the prosecution's closing, District Attorney Steve Howe cited a "mountain of evidence" against Miller, who is charged with capital murder in the April 2014 shootings at two Jewish sites in Overland Park, Kansas. Although he has admitted to killing the three people, he has pleaded not guilty, saying it was his duty to stop genocide against the white race. None of the victims was Jewish.

"He wants to be the one who decides who lives and dies," Howe said of Miller.

Ryan told Miller that if there were further outbursts, he would permanently eject him or declare a mistrial.

Miller groused before finally agreeing, "I will take it under advisement and try to improve."

Miller is a Vietnam War veteran who founded the Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan in his native North Carolina and later the White Patriot Party. He also ran for the U.S. House in 2006 and the U.S. Senate in 2010 in Missouri, each time espousing a white-power platform.

After firing his legal team back in May, Miller attempted to mount his own rambling defense based on his hardline white supremacist ideology.

However, large parts of his evidence was ruled inadmissible, he was stopped just a few words into his opening statement after nearly voiding his trial, and was threatened with permanent expulsion from the court for his frequent interruptions.

At one point as the judge was preparing the jury for sentencing, Miller objected 'on the grounds of George Washington', arguing that they were being 'told how to think'.

When he was convicted of all three murders just two hou later, he threw another Nazi salute before telling jurors they 'wouldn't be able to sleep' that night.

Miller, who suffers from emphysema and often requires a wheelchair and the use of an oxygen mask, initially said he would plea guilty in order to gain a short trail where he hoped to be able to explain his warped philosophy to jurors before he died.

However, Miller, who was also a senior member of the Klu Klux Klan, later decided to plead not guilty after prosecutors refused to rule out giving him the death penalty.

During cross examination, Miller said he was 'devastated' when he found out none of his victims were actually Jewish, but said the murders of Corporon and LaMano were justified because they were 'Jewish sympathizers'.

Miller said he felt bad about killing teenager Underwood, who he 'thought was older' but admitted he would have felt better if the boy had been a Jew.

He also accused the judge and prosecution of associating with Jewish people, before adding that he would have killed them too if they were at the site of the shootings.

Miller had asked the jury of eight women and nine men to 'show great courage' in finding him not guilty before being convicted of one count of capital murder, three counts of attempted murder and assault and weapons charges.
