Police say a registered sex offender entered a Mountain View apartment through an unlocked window, killed an elderly couple and sexually assaulted their 2-year-old great-granddaughter in an apparently random attack Saturday.

The man, identified in court documents as 24-year-old Jerry Andrew Active, was taken into custody blocks away from the North Bragaw Street scene after a fight with the victims’ family members, who came home from taking their son to a movie to find their child assaulted and Touch Chea, 73, and Sorn Sreap, 71, dead .
Active was arraigned on charges of murder, sexual assault, sexual abuse of a minor and burglary at the Anchorage Jail courtroom Sunday.
A judge set his bail at $1.5 million after prosecutors called his alleged crimes chilling “beyond words” in their violence and random nature.

Seng and his wife had taken their 4-year-old son to see a movie at the Century 16 theater Saturday evening, he said Sunday.
When the family returned to the ground-level apartment they shared with Seng’s grandparents and great-grandmother at the Labnongsang Apartments just before 8 p.m. the door chain was locked. It would only open a few inches, enough for Seng to see a glimpse of his grandfather Touch Chea, 73, and grandmother Sorn Sreap, 71, on the floor.
For a moment he thought he was seeing some kind of a bad joke.
“I wanted to have hope and faith,” he said.
But Sreap was nude from the waist down, Seng said.
He screamed at his wife to call police and broke the large window facing the alleyway to get inside.
Accounts of what happened next are imprecise.
Seng says he stormed through the house in a panic, finding his 2-year-old daughter and his 90-year-old great-grandmother, who has dementia.
There was also a partially clothed man in the house. He was trying to run out the front door.
“I said, motherf---er, did you murder my motherf-----g family?” Seng said.
The two men fought. Both threw punches. A neighbor who heard the screams arrived to help but the man escaped.
Police arrested Active a block away moments later. He was wearing boxer shorts, said Anchorage Police Department detective Slawomir Markiewicz.
Chea and Sreap were killed by “blunt force trauma,” and had injuries to their faces, police said, though an autopsy to formally determine a cause of death hasn’t been completed.
Detectives say the 2-year-old girl and Sorn Sreap had both been sexually assaulted. The toddler was taken to an area hospital where she underwent surgery for her injuries.

I cannot put into words the torture that I want inflicted on this thing that is wasting my precious oxygen. I want things done that would make Nazis and the specialists at Gitmo cringe. Then after an extended period he may be slowly killed, publicly to make an example out of him.

At 8:09 a.m. on Saturday, Jerry Andrew Active walked out of the parking lot of the Anchorage Correctional Complex a free man after serving time for a probation violation, according to Alaska Department of Corrections records.

Less than twelve hours later, the 24-year-old is alleged to have killed an elderly couple and sexually assaulted their 2-year-old great-granddaughter after slipping through an open window at the family's Mountain View apartment.

The 24-year-old has been "in and out" of jail since 2007, Kaci Schroeder, a spokeswoman for the Department of Corrections, said Monday.

In 2009, he was arrested for sneaking into a Togiak home and attempting to sexually assault an 11-year-old girl while the family slept, then assaulting three members of the household, according to an account at the time from the Alaska State Troopers.

He violated his probation over and over, sometimes being re-arrested on the very day he got out of jail, Schroeder said.

Records to detail what Active's violations were and the circumstances of his probation supervision weren't immediately available on Monday.

But what's clear is that he had a hard time staying out of jail.

From Oct. 2, 2011 to the moment police arrested him Saturday as he allegedly fled the scene of the killings Active had spent 18 days on the outside, according to a timeline released by the Department of Corrections.

"He messed up quickly and repeatedly," Schroeder said, each time earning a new, short jail sentence.

On May 25, he was released with an "approved housing plan," meaning the Corrections Department knew where he was supposed to be living, Schroeder said. The same was true with each of his prior releases, she said.

He wasn't required to report to a probation officer in person until the next business day, Schroeder said.

These cases always remind me of, the revolving door theory
judges give short sentences, criminals keep coming back, everyone in the legal system keeps busy and employed

Therefore, it would be a mercy to put him down....by dropping his dickless, remorseless, gang-banging, baby-molesting, granny-raping carcass in a pit of other rabid animals. Still without remorse, Jerry Active was sentenced to 359 years in prison for the brutal rapes of 73 year old Sorn Sreap and her 2 year old great-granddaughter and the sickening murders of Sreap and her husband.

Active continued to maintain his innocence at his sentencing, instead he blames a "white jury" for his being found guilty of the repulsive crimes.

In addition to those crimes, as well as his 2009 conviction for breaking into a home and raping ANOTHER child, Active also raped a 90 year old woman who died in June of 2015.

I'm sure it was white lawmakers and a white judge and white prosecutor that gave him such weak, worthless punishments for his earlier crimes. If they had cared a single shit about protecting the public, this asswipe would have already been facing a lengthy sentence, instead of wandering the streets again invading homes to destroy what lay inside.

So he is half right i suppose, whites are to blame in a major way for his crime.

It's always the natives that blame whites for EVERYTHING. Lot of minorities will blame the group in power, but natives get fucking absurd with it like nobodys business, and it's always the white man.
 
He needs to be repeatedly raped in prison for a year then hanged by his balls until he dies! Apparently he can only pick on little babies and elderly people. Such a big man! That poor little 2 year old had to undergo surgery because of what this animal did to her. I hope he dies a terrible painful death in prison!
 
I wasn't on DD back when this story broke so this was my first time hearing of it. You know, we all read a lot of awful shit on this site and while I always want justice served, I mostly try to refrain from saying someone should be killed slowly and painfully unless it's pretty horrific. In this case, I'm filled with such rage that I'd like them to dig out his eyes with a red hot spoon (but keep them attached so he can still see) then prop them up to face him and slowly start cutting off one piece at a time as he watches... but only after raping him with a saw, naturally. I did also like the pit of rabid animals suggestion from an earlier post.

I feel literally sick thinking about this. And as far as him raping a 90 year old too... you make it all the way to 90 (or your 70's for that matter) only for that to happen before you go?! Sick motherfucking filthy evil piece of shit!
