I'm so glad the little girl is going to make it! Thank goodness!

You're a day late and one stabbing too many, kiddo. Maybe you'll find employment making license plates in the penitentiary.

Looks like someone was using this guys face to hone their skills with a BB gun. Guess meth will do that to ya. If he were smiling I'm guessing I'd have to say "Nice tooth ya got there!"

Why though? Did the poor girl wake up and catch him Breaking in? Since he was a family aquaintance had he maybe touched her inappropriately at some time and this was an attempt to keep her quiet? Jesus what a frightening thing for the whole family to go through!

Since this thread got bumped, no updates about him or the girl, but I did find an article that states that his girlfriend, at that time, was the 6 year old's aunt, and that he had babysat her many times during their relationship.....adds an interesting element to this. o_O

Oh, and his sister says the charges are "outrageous". Her dear non methy face brother would never hurt that girl, he loved her. Uh huh. I wonder if he did love her. :penguin:

Sentenced 10 to 15 years, still maintains his innocence says he felt if he didnt plea other family members would have been arrested or some such shit.

After pleading no contest to charges of assault with intent to murder and possession of child sexually abusive materials, Ed Harvey, 24, attempted to withdraw that plea and take his case to trial. Judge Darlene O'Brien denied Harvey's motion,

Harvey was accused of stabbing a 6-year-old girl in Ann Arbor in July 2013. A subsequent investigationrevealed illegal and pornographic images of children on Harvey's cellphone.

He was first arrested July 6, 2013 after a 6-year-old girl living on Carrot Way in Ann Arbor was stabbed. Police said Harvey broke into the residence where he used to live with his girlfriend and stabbed the girl.Judge O'Brien followed the recommendations established in a deal struck between Harvey's original representation and state attorneys, sentencing Harvey to 10-15 years in prison for the assault charge and 17 months to four years on the charge of possession of sexually abusive materials.

The plea agreement also covers not prosecuting him and others for trying to tamper with evidence by trying to contact the child to talk her into 'what really happened'.. they all ought to be hung in a public gallow..
