A Florida couple spiked the family dog with a fatal injection, and then staged a phony burglary to cover it up, authorities say.

The canine killers admitted planning and executing the twisted attack after detectives investigating the clumsy crime scene confronted them, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office.

Daniel Adams, 34, told investigators he and his 29-year-old girlfriend, Lauren Curran, drove with their child from Dunedin to his parent’s home in Tarpon Springs to assassinate a hapless Labrador retriever named Daisy, authorities said.

Daisy was his parents’ 4-year-old pet.

“During the interviews with detectives Daniel admitted he and Lauren drove to his parents’ home, with a child, with the intention of killing the dog, Daisy,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.

Curran delivered the kill shot on Monday with a hypodermic needle filled with an unknown medication, the couple admitted.

The bungling brutes confessed they stole Adams’ parents iPad to make it look like a break-in.

His father and mother reported the supposed burglary to authorities, but it didn’t take long for investigators to unravel the ruse.

Adams and Curran targeted Daisy after she nipped one of their dogs, and Adams was afraid she’d turn on his parents, deputies told WTSP.

A man who answered the phone at Adams’ parents house declined to comment to the Daily News.

Adams and Curran were charged on Wednesday with animal cruelty and burglary as well as child abuse because they brought the child with them.

That's some hinky shit right there. Surely there's more to the story than it nipped their dog.
