Roxanne Chapin Arrested For Producing Child Porn

Phoenix police arrested a woman who they said was producing child pornography and distributing it online.

According to James Holmes, a police spokesman, investigators from the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force said they intercepted images of a toddler being sexually abused that were sent from the north Phoenix home of 26-year-old Roxanne Chapin.

Investigators said they took two children, ages 3 and 6, from the home near Interstate 17 and Loop 101 and arrested Chapin at about 6 p.m. on Friday.

Chapin was arrested on one count of child molestation, two counts of sexual conduct with a minor and 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.

Police said they did not disclose how Chapin knew the two children in order to protect the victims.

We've all kind of grown up knowing, or at least long since been aware of the fact, that some guys have been doing this shit for many years.

But I still haven't yet fully come to terms psychologically with the more recent awareness that women have been doing this shit too! So it still shocks and sickens me so much more on some visceral level when it's a woman doing this.

I hope this particular bitch gets thrown in jail for a suitably large number of years - certainly until she is beyond the point where she can physically reproduce more young victims with her own body.

But more generally, now that the internet is creating the conditions where such offenders can more easily be brought to justice, I cannot help but wonder at how female paedophiles in our midst have until recently been pretty much wholly under the radar and were therefore getting away with it. Because I am sure the existence of female paedophiles aint nothing new - they must have been around since the dawn of humanity, pretty much like male ones.

The Arizona ICAC team received the commendation for arresting Roxanne Chapin, a Phoenix woman who was sexually abusing and exploiting her two young sons and videotaping and sharing the abuse with others. Investigators examined Chapin's cell phone and extracted numerous images of the abuse and several thousand communication records from email, private chats, social media and other communications, which they used to track down other sexual predators in the United States and other countries.

Chapin's arrest in January 2015 has led to four children being rescued from sexual abuse, the capture of six registered sex offenders and the arrest and indictment of more than 30 individuals in 14 states, the United Kingdom, Spain and Sweden. Chapin was sentenced to 35 years in prison with lifetime probation and must register as a sex offender.
