Found 17yo Marisol Pena & Her Baby 9m/o Vanessa Missing After Argument With Family

Aurora police are searching for a 17-year-old girl who left home with her 9-month-old daughter after an argument with her family.

Marisol Pena and her daughter, Vanessa Paz, were last seen Monday evening, police said in a release. Police believe she took the child from her home in the 600 block of West Galena Boulevard after "recent disagreements with her family," police said.

Pena was last seen wearing blue jeans, a pink shirt,and a blue jacket with “Hollister” written in white down one of the sleeves. It was not known what Vanessa was wearing.[...]

Police in Aurora are asking for the public’s help to find a missing teen and her baby.

I hope she's fine and just decided that living with family wasn't working and that it was time to go. She's old enough that it's possible. I wonder what they are not saying if they managed to get the police involved though... I would think that the police normally would consider her a runaway? I'm also wondering if she has custody of her kid.. since some of the news sites are saying she disappeared with "a baby" or "the girl" rather than "her baby" seems odd...
