Bucks County, Pa. (WTXF) - A second person of interest has been taken into custody in connection with the murder of the four Bucks County men, according to a source. The person of interest is currently at Northeast Detectives being held for Bucks County authorities to pick up and question. So far, no charges have been filed.

Earlier Thursday, Cosmo DiNardo, 20, confessed to the commission of or participation in four murders and agreed to plead guilty to four murder counts, attorney Paul Lang said outside court, where DiNardo had met with investigators. DiNardo also told investigators where the bodies are. Sources tell FOX 29 the four Bucks County men were killed over marijuana and a gun.

"I'm sorry," a shackled DiNardo said as he left the courthouse. The four men, all residents of Bucks County, disappeared last week. At least three knew each other. The remains of only one, 19-year-old Dean Finocchiaro, have been identified, though authorities said other remains were found in the hole as well.

.@FOX29philly Sources:2nd Person of interest in murders of 4 Bucks Co men has Police record & was shot in March#fox29pic.twitter.com/zkeTDq1Y0I

Apparently, this 2nd individual is 20; Riddle - from my previous - is stated as 19, but may have had a birthday since the May assault I guess. Now I'm trying to see if I can find anything about him perhaps having been shot in March; he certainly has the police record.

Holy crap this case is mesmerizing ... and totally f'd up.

Shouldnt Riddle be behind bars right now already?

Interesting development.

In what articles I've been able to find on that incident and asshole, they read like he was only charged with criminal assault so possibly he could be out on bail I guess.

After seeing the injuries the young man has, I'd have charged his ass with attempted murder myself.

It;s not Riddle but another

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (AP) — An admitted drug dealer with a history of mental illness was charged Friday with the killings of four Pennsylvania men who vanished a week ago. A second suspect was also arrested and charged in three of the deaths.

Cosmo DiNardo, 20, is charged with all four homicides and 20 other counts, including abuse of corpse, conspiracy and robbery, according to court documents. Sean Kratz, 20, faces 20 counts, including three of criminal homicide.

DiNardo's lawyer announced Thursday that his client had admitted to the killings and was cooperating with investigators. Kratz was arrested later the same day, authorities said.

All the victims are believed buried on a farm property in Solebury, Pennsylvania, owned by DiNardo's parents. Only one set of remains has so far been identified.

A person with firsthand knowledge of DiNardo's confession said he killed the men after he felt cheated or threatened during three drug transactions and then burned their bodies at his family's farm.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on the condition of anonymity on Thursday because he was not authorized to publicly discuss details of the case against 20-year-old Cosmo DiNardo, who was in custody.

DiNardo told authorities that a co-conspirator from Philadelphia was involved in three of the deaths, the person said.

DiNardo has agreed to plead guilty to four first-degree murder counts, attorney Paul Lang said. In exchange for DiNardo's cooperation, Lang said, prosecutors would not seek the death penalty.

Lang called his client remorseful. As a law enforcement official escorted a shackled DiNardo from the courthouse on Thursday, he said "I'm sorry."

Kratz's mother, Vanessa, declined to comment on her son arrest's when reached by phone.

The Bucks County district attorney planned to hold a news conference Friday afternoon to report on all the latest developments.

The person with knowledge of the confession said one of the men was killed July 5 and the other three were killed July 7.

"Every death was related to a purported drug transaction, and at the end of each one there's a killing," the person said.

DiNardo then burned the bodies — three of them inside a drum — at his family's farm in Solebury Township, about 30 miles (48 kilometers) north of Philadelphia, the person said.

Authorities had charged DiNardo earlier this year with having a gun despite an involuntary mental health commitment. In seeking $5 million bail on a stolen car charge this week, prosecutors said he had been diagnosed with schizophrenia. He also suffered a head injury in an ATV accident a year ago.

The victims are 19-year-old Dean Finocchiaro, 22-year-old Mark Sturgis, 21-year-old Tom Meo and 19-year-old Jimi Taro Patrick. Patrick, who was a year behind DiNardo at a Catholic high school, was last seen on Wednesday, while the other three vanished two days later.

Cadaver dogs led investigators this week to the spot on the family farm where they discovered human remains inside a 12 ½-foot-deep common grave.

Hope they can use Cosmo to at least get DP on the other suspect. One of these fuckers needs to die.

I bet their parents are all such vile trash. The fact that Cosmos prick folks bailed him out on the gun charge shows what kind of scum they are, and makes it not the least bit surprising their precious baby would grow up to slaughter people.

According to Philadelphia Police sources, Cosmo DiNardo has apparently confessed that he was involved in at least two other killings in Philadelphia in the last five years.

Sources say the department is actively investigating DiNardo’s claimsmade in that confession to Bucks County investigators.

It was a plea deal that spared him from inevitably facing the death penalty.

A childhood friend posted to Facebook: “I grew up with Cosmo, we were best friends since the fourth grade but grew apart due to his recent health struggles. Unlike people who are passing judgement, I watched him change and struggle with his mental health. He was never the same after his (ATV) accident. The Cosmo I knew for over 10 years would never be capable of anything like this.”

Cosmo DiNardo and Sean Kratz, two cousins charged in the brutal murder of four men in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, in July entered not guilty pleas during their arraignment on Thursday.

The 20-year-old men face charges of criminal homicide, abuse of corpse, robbery and conspiracy after the shooting deaths of 19-year-old Dean Finocchiaro, 22-year-old Mark Sturgis, 21-year-old Tom Meo and 19-year-old Jimi Patrick, whose bodies were found buried on a Solebury, Pennsylvania, farm after a five-day search in July.

According to a press release from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office, DiNardo faces four counts of criminal homicide in the deaths of Patrick, Finocchiaro, Meo and Sturgis, while Kratz has only been charged in the deaths of Finocchiaro, Meo and Sturgis.

DiNardo confessed to killing the four men as part of a plea deal in July that would allow him to avoid the death penalty. Kratz did not agree to a plea deal.

Prosecutors said that DiNardo’s not guilty plea on Thursday was a procedural decision that would afford him the option to stop cooperating with the investigation in order to maintain his innocence, according to Philadelphia ABC affiliate WPVI. He is still cooperating with police, WPVI said.

Bucks County District Attorney Matthew D. Weintraub filed paperwork this week reserving the right to seek the death penalty against the young men. While Weintraub maintained that he will honor the deal struck between him and DiNardo to avoid the death penalty, he said, “if additional evidence is uncovered, or if he wishes to go to trial, we will be prepared and we will at that time seek the death penalty.”

DiNardo faces additional felony charges of theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and illegal possession of firearms, which he was prohibited from using due to previously being involuntarily committed to a mental health treatment center.

The trial date for Dinardo and Kratz has yet to be confirmed, the case will be prosecuted by First Assistant District Attorney Gregg D. Shore and Deputy District Attorney Kate Kohler.

These kids are fucking bent.
20yrs old and they are brutally murdering and disposing of other humans like garbage.
How can someone become so twisted at such a young age.
My heart aches for the families of the victims.

A jury has found Sean Kratz guilty of criminal homicide and manslaughter in the deaths of three of the four men killed on a Bucks County farm in 2017.

Kratz was found guilty of murder in the first degree in the death of Dean Finocchiaro. He was also found guilty of voluntary manslaughter in the slayings of Tom Meo and Mark Sturgis.

he penalty phase of the trial will resume Monday at 9 a.m.

Kratz is accused of helping his cousin kill four young men and bury them on a Bucks County farm two years ago.

Kratz’s lawyers rested their case Tuesday without calling the 22-year-old defendant to the stand.

Parents of two of the four victims previously took the stand, crying while they viewed pictures of their late sons.

Kratz last year turned down a plea deal that would have helped him avoid a possible death penalty. His cousin, Cosmo DiNardo, 22, pleaded guilty and is serving life in prison for his role in the quadruple murder.

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (AP) – A jury has convicted a man in the slayings of three young men whose bodies were found buried at a suburban Philadelphia farm.

Sean Kratz was convicted Friday of first-degree murder and other offenses. The jury must now decide on a sentence of death or life in prison.

The 22-year-old went to trial after rejecting an earlier plea deal. A cousin, 22-year-old Cosmo DiNardo, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life in prison.

Bucks County prosecutors say DiNardo lured the victims to his family's Solebury farm in 2017 as part of a robbery plot.
