A jury has returned a guilty verdict in the 2016 hair weave triple murder.

Shelby Isaac, 19, was found guilty of two counts of second-degree murder, one count of reckless homicide and one count of criminally negligent homicide.

Isaac fell to the ground in shock as the first guilty verdict was read around 7 p.m. Friday after about three hours of deliberations.

Multiple members of Isaac’s family were escorted from the courtroom after they began crying, one shouting that Isaac was innocent.

In January 2016, Isaac fatally shot EJ Tate, Edwina Thomas and Thomas’ unborn child at a northeast Memphis apartment complex in a dispute over hair weave.

“She only got the little extra three bundles of hair, maybe $200 or $300. It wasn’t worth a life,” said Tate’s mother, Gloria.

Prosecutors had sought first-degree murder convictions in all three deaths, but the jury ended up settling on lesser charges.

“The embryo was the charge in which they convicted her of criminally negligent homicide and the reckless homicide was for the female victim,” said prosecutor Glen Baity.

“Sometimes that can indicate that it was possibly a compromised verdict. If you have some very strong on one side, some very strong on the other,” said Issac lawyer Lauren Fuchs.

She faces from 15 to 25 years in prison for the most serious charge: second-degree murder.

flipping skank shouldn't have been so shocked but obviously her and her family thought she was going to skate. She deserved 3 charges of murder for both people and the Unborn Child, this is a form of entitlement i don't get if she'd been that worried about getting nailed maybe she wouldn't have gone and capped some people for some stinking hair weaves, maybe get on ali baba and get the good stuff from brazil cheap without murdering people

I kinda wanna see the weaves.

My gut tells me someone in her family shouted out "OH LAWDY LAWD",
while others just shook like they had the DTs.

What is it with the hysterical performance art of certain types of black women flinging themselves to the ground screaming? The same type who would murder someone over a hank of hair. Seems to be essential to the ghetto rat culture.
There are plenty of people who wipe away a tear and walk away with dignity, then there are those who go for the last gasp of attention.

I wonder if it is a cultural thing? There are world cultures where very conspicuous shrieking and wailing is considered the norm for women when a loved one has died. To a point that seems fakey and over the top to western eyes. Perhaps in certain segments of African American culture, the theatrics of throwing oneself to the floor upon hearing bad news is considered normal (or at least not as odd as it looks to non-members)?

I am not impressed. Maybe her cellmate will be

No more weave in jail. This is the look she is sporting now:

Keening and mourning as seen in various cultures does not strike me that way.
I think the black women throwing fits in courtrooms and in public, especially when cameras are present, have perverted an ancient custom to their own self serving melodramatic ends.
