A Henrico County man accused of performing sex acts on Rottweilers was convicted of two counts of animal cruelty Tuesday.

Stephen Matthew Taylor, 31, entered an Alford plea to a felony charge of inflicting pain and causing death of an animal. He entered a guilty plea to an additional misdemeanor charge of animal cruelty.

The defendant, who had eight Rottweilers, admitted to police that he performed oral sex on one of the dogs, according to Nael A. Abouzaki, an assistant commonwealth’s attorney for Henrico.

Abouzaki said a hard drive found at Taylor’s home contained 171 images of bestiality, including 10 images of Taylor performing oral sex on a Rottweiler. William T. Linka, Taylor’s attorney, said his client disputes the fact that he is the person in the images.

A search warrant was executed in November at Taylor’s Lakeside home in the 2900 block of Kenwood Avenue for child pornography and crimes against nature, according to a criminal complaint.

Taylor’s roommate, Craig Michael Knox, was arrested in November after the search of the home. Knox was then arraigned in Pennsylvania on various sex charges, including an allegation that he raped a 9-year-old boy, according to the Pennsylvania attorney general’s office. The charges against Knox stemmed from alleged assaults that happened in 2010 in Pittston, Pa., where Knox was living at the time.

The eight dogs at the Kenwood Avenue home were seized, according to the criminal complaint. Abouzaki said two of the dogs had to be euthanized.

Taylor will be sentenced Nov. 14. The maximum punishment for the felony is five years in prison, while the maximum sentence for the misdemeanor is one year in prison.

Yoffy ordered that Taylor, who is out on bond, undergo a psychosexual evaluation.

One condition of Taylor’s bond is that he is not to have contact with companion animals, Abouzaki said.

Well from here the psycho sexual evaluation is a waste of money when its pretty obvious that the guy likes to suck off dogs and is okay with hanging out with other men that like to rape boys.

Wait, did I read that right?

He admitted to police that he performed oral sex on his dog, but denied being the person in the videos performing oral sex on his dog?? :bored:

Is THAT your line? It's OK to be the guy who blows dogs, but not the guy who records himself blowing dogs?

Fucking sick bastard. Too bad one of those Rotties didnt eat him! I hate stories like this. I have a Rottweiler that is like one of my kids. She is the sweetest baby ever! I hate reading stories about people mistreating them.

Under an Alford plea, a defendant doesn’t admit guilt but acknowledges that prosecutors have enough evidence for a conviction.

Abouzaki said the defendant’s conduct was “appalling.”

After his court appearance, Taylor called the allegations against him lies, saying he is not guilty. Taylor said he entered his pleas because he didn’t feel that he could get a fair trial in Henrico.

I fucking wish the media would quit printing this statement what an Alford plea is. I doesn't fucking matter, even though the shitbags don't want to admit it openly, its a fucking guilty plea.

[Stephen Matthew Taylor], who had eight Rottweilers, admitted ... he performed oral sex on one of the dogs ....
:vomit:

What a nasty fuck! I hate that 2 of the dogs had to be euthanized because this fucking douche wanted to fuck em. I wonder if they were mean or or just in bad health. Either way, it was up to him to take care of them and he failed! I love Rottweilers too. They are beautiful dogs. I have one laying at my feet right now and she is the sweetest baby ever! I cant imagine someone doing that sick shit to her!

There is a difference.

A guilty plea is an admission to having performed the proscribed act. An Alford plea is not. Having once admitted committing the act, one is generally barred from appealing one's conviction and stands vulnerable in any subsequent civil action. An Alford plea leaves the possibility of future appeals on the table and does not increase the individual's vulnerability to being found responsible in a civil action.

Both pleas will result in a conviction and the imposition of sanctions, but the logic behind them is not the same.

Thank you, I forgot about the appeal process. Though, I have yet seen an "innocent" person use an Alford plea. To me it's a weaselly way for a scumbag to play the system, but it appears to be not as successful they wish for, except to lawyers, of course.

filthy degenerate maggots I too am curious about the dogs being put down and why. Anyone caught fucking an animal or abusing it or in a situation where it has to be put down for lack of care or any other reason should never be allowed to own another animal again and monitored around animals if caught with one should be thrown back in jail.
