The York County Sheriff's Office deputies arrested Vincent Cole Sunday night after receiving a report that he and his girlfriend had been involved in an altercation, WMTW reports.
Authorities said Cole was out on bail in connection to an incident last month.
When deputies arrived to the Waterboro home, Cole was gone. They found him later that night driving.

According to WMTW, he jumped out of the speeding car and ran into his home. The vehicle crashed into debris and hit a boulder.
Deputies chased Cole into the home and ordered him to surrender. When he didn't comply and started to advance towards them, a deputy pulled out his Taser.
That's when Cole allegedly grabbed a young girl and used her as a shield. WMTW reports that the child is believed to be his daughter.

Cole was arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of a child, driving to endanger, refusing to stop for an officer, operating after suspension and violation of conditional release. He was denied bail.
According to WCSH, Cole was arrested last month for allegedly stabbing someone. As a condition of his release, he was ordered to remain in his home from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and had his driver's license suspended.
