A female scout leader from Arkansas has been charged with sexual indecency with a child and having images of child sex abuse on her computer.

Christina McCafferty, 38, is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with the 15-year-old boy who was in her group.

McCafferty is being held in Crittenden County Jail pending payment of a $35,000 bond.

Dear Detective Williams: It's not a "relationship" when a 38 year old has sex with a 15 year old, it's classified as child or statutory RAPE under the law, as an LEO, you should be aware of this and always refer to it as such when performing as a spokesman for your department.:rolleyes:

Something doesn't make sense here (other than the inappropriate rationship). A den mother is for cub scouts, boys aged 7-11. What was a 15 year-old doing in her group to begin with?

There is nothing anyone could ever say at any time that could possibly justify this. To be honest I would rather not hear any attempt at justifications. It's insulting.

A former Boy Scout leader charged with sexual indecency with a child and computer child pornography was sentenced to 24 months and ordered to have no contact with the victim.

Christina McCafferty, 38, of West Memphis accepted the plea agreement July 31, court documents show.

A prosecutor’s report stated that McCafferty had sexual contact with the victim and sent him nude pictures of herself.

I hope the boy gets help most importantly I hope he gets some brain bleach he's going to need it!
 
How could a woman with such a cornucopia of mental illnes become a den mother?
Of course there is more to the story, but sex with minors is a crime no matter what the back story.
