A 28-year-old woman who allegedly had more than 100 images of child pornography on her computer and her phone has been arrested.
Kaitlin Plascjak allegedly confessed to police when she was arrested in Pennsylvania at a home she shares with her mother, and told officers she had been looking at the images since 2006 as a 'coping mechanism'.
The 28-year-old said she looked at the photos, which included pictures of 'infants and toddlers exposing themselves' and 'infants being sexually assaulted', because she had been abused when she was younger,
WPXI reports.
The Allegheny County District Attorney released a statement on the arrest, saying it was the first time ever a woman had been arrested on such charges.
