Officers executed a search warrant and discovered a laptop containing child pornography and file-sharing software in the elder Clabaugh’s bedroom. While interviewing Greg Clabaugh, police discovered that Mark Clabaugh had also been involved in downloading child porn and had burned CDs of the material for his father,

A forensic exam of the computer, CDs and thumb drives revealed more than 600 child porn images and videos.
The cases were prosecuted by Senior Assistant Attorney General Gene Fishel. The state attorney general’s office has concurrent jurisdiction with local commonwealth’s attorneys to handle child porn and Internet child predator cases across the state.
Greg Clabaugh was originally facing 17 counts of possessing child porn, two additional counts of reproducing child porn and one count of conspiring to commit a felony, but those charges were dropped as part of a plea agreement. He will be placed on three years of probation upon release, with an additional seven years in prison suspended.
Mark Clabaugh was facing two additional counts of reproduction and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony, but those charges were also dropped. He will be placed on three years of probation, with an additional eight years in prison suspended.
Both men will be required to register as sex offenders.
