I just heard on the news that they are interviewing jurors and juror #22 wants to be on the jury, unlike most of the rest of the jury pool.

He said he had an uncanny way of telling whether someone was telling the truth and that as a child his mother had left him repeatedly in a hot car, but he was also fair and impartial. He admitted to watching porn because it was cheaper than dating. Did I mention that he is also umemployed and a father?

I looked for a link but without a name I couldn't find one. But suffice it to say, this guy is a weird one. LOL

As most of you well know, I hope this guy gets the shit beat out of him while doing his time for what he did to that beautiful child.

But man, even I wouldn't WANT to be on the jury! To have to see the pictures of little Cooper, on his back, rigor mortis already set in (so he was basically still shaped as if he was still in the car seat.) Those big blue eyes open (mouth, too) and those horrific scratches and desperate cuts he made to his own face and head as he died what had to be about the most horrific death imaginable. His crime? Being born to a couple of ignorant pigs who simply had no regard for his life, only their own.

Oh, an "uncanny ability to discern the truth from fiction?" Well damn, forget the trial, just have ol' dude here tell us what Pig McPig there is lying about.... no need for a jury pool or voting or any of that bullshit, not when we've got a genuine mentalist on our hands! Hell, forget the lawyers and judge, too; this guy sounds like he can handle it all on his own. I'm absolutely sure he'll be on the jury, foreman of course :sarcasm: Anybody who'd want to be on this trial -- unless it's someone very driven to ensure he's found guilty, is just -- I cannot see their reasoning in that at ALL. Wow. I'd much more trust someone who was reluctant (like most are, I'm sure) then one who's chomping at the bits to hear the gory details. Fucking freak.

P.S. "Watching porn" I can believe. "Because it's cheaper than dating" is hilarious! Because it's just as much fun watching other people get their rocks off than actually touching a real woman, right champ? Umm-hmm; sounds legit! How about "Nobody'd touch you with a 20 foot pole!" Much more likely scenario!

Jury selecction is (to me) what makes and/or breaks trials. I hope to God this one gets some justice for little Cooper Harris. He's one of the one's I'll never forget. May Karma do to his "mother" what the justice system apparently simply won't, because she belongs in Hell right along with ol' Porky. "Did you say too much?" Godspeed, Karma, and make it count.

~@FrayedKnot~ From the first images I saw of this creeping crud mound of gelatinous, quivering, blubbering flesh, the Piggly Wiggly logo popped into my head. Every single time he squeezed out a tear in the courtroom I've wanted to snatch him bald headed as I pulled him from his seat at the defense table and shove his attorneys up his fat ass.

The tears he manages to eek out are most assuredly not for Cooper who he left to suffer so horrifically that he clawed at his little face even as his brain short circuited from not being able to cool his body down in that vehicle that became a death oven.

Justin Ross Harris sheds tears for himself because his researched plan to rid himself of that precious baby boy failed him. The oinker should fry like bacon and it's a shame that's off the table in my opinion.

Well, they didn't dismiss him for being certifiably insane, they kept him in the pool because they are having a very hard time seating an impartial jury, most folks in the pool are declaring they already believe him guilty. Which I definitely can understand. I hope he fries too, and Georgia executes them, did it only this week.

They are having a really, really hard time finding enough people that don't think he's already guilty, but according to the article at @Victoria' link, they seated 41 out of a possible 42, so the change of venue seems a little late, to me.

After three weeks of more than 80 prospective juror interviews, a judge has ruled a change in venue for the murder trial of Justin Ross Harris.

Harris, 35, has been held in jail on charges including malice murder, felony murder and first-degree cruelty to children since the day his 22-month-old son Cooper died in June 2014, after being left in an SUV car with the windows up for seven hours.

Harris' attorneys argued pretrial publicity had saturated the metro Atlanta county where the boy died and has resulted in a 'pervasive, persistent opinion of guilt.'

They filed a motion for a change of venue Friday afternoon, about three weeks into jury selection.

Once a county in Georgia has been selected, a fresh jury pool will be summoned and the process begins anew.

For more than an hour Monday, only a few days before opening arguments were expected to begin, Cobb Superior Court Judge Mary Staley listened as Harris' defense lawyers went through the long list of potential jurors one by one, explaining why they felt each of those prospects should be removed because of their prejudicial opinions.

Forty-one local residents have been qualified to serve on the jury, but five have already stated their belief in Harris' guilt. The court needs one more juror from which to select a panel of 12 plus four alternates.

Judge Staley ordered both prosecution and defense teams to 'collaborate' on a jury that is acceptable to both.

Despite her final ruling, Judge Staley said moving the trial would be expensive and complicated, with the potential to find themselves in a courtroom with no security, air conditioning, or nearby hotels to accommodate the large number of people who would be housed for as long as six weeks.

Both prosecution and defense as well as judge and court staff will need to stay wherever the new location is for the duration of the trial and may get weekends off, the court heard today.

Brunswick, Georgia was put forward as a potential option but the court will decide on a new location over the next few days.

Oh for fucks sake! Like a different county anywhere in Georgia is going to make an appreciable difference when it comes to pulling a jury from in the case of the hot car death of Cooper. As soon as the ME takes the stand and describes the hellish death Cooper experienced while Dad was sending dick pics and how he returned to the car at lunchtime and again hopped in to drive home and immediately didn't smell or see Copper, it's game the fuck over.

I totally agree with both of you, I was speaking as a former Cobb County resident. I'd be PISSED if at the last minute I got robbed of a chance to put this fucker UNDER the state prison in Reidsville... that's all. :shame:

As a former Fulton and DeKalb resident (so Metro ATL, lol) I agree.

We approach the second anniversary of the day 22 month old Copper Harris was left strapped in his car seat as the temperature rapidly began to soar inside the SUV, turned quasi oven, on June 18, 2014.

The scratches Cooper dug on his face and evidence that he bounced, rubbed his head back and forth on the car seat, both actions resulting from his little body reacting to the extreme heat and short circuiting when the body could do nothing to bring his body temperature down. The descriptions of Cooper's suffering while his Dad was sending cock pics was beyond revolting. When he issued instructions from jail on how to collect on Cooper's life insurance it was abominable.

I've heard that Cobb County DA, Vic Reynolds is an excellent prosecutor.
Buffettgirl, FrayedKnot, either of you heard anything about him?

get in the habit of putting something in back seat
purse
lunch bag
coat
whatever that way you have a better chance of opening back door or turning to grab whatever you have put in there and will see baby in car seat

Bet they wouldn't forget if their cell phones were in the back seat.

http://patch.com/georgia/marietta/cobb-commission-approves-200k-hot-car-death-trial-relocation

Marietta, GA -- Cobb commissioners have approved up to $200,000 for the relocation of Justin Ross Harris' trial to Brunswick and Glynn County, Ga.

The commission voted to approve the allocation last week, reports the AJC.

The 35-year-old Cobb County man faces murder charges related to his 22-month-old son's death. Cooper Harris died on June 18, 2014, of hyperthermia in his father's SUV while Harris went to work. Harris also faces several charges of "sexting" with minors, including several such messages at the time his son was dying.

Attorneys for Harris argued their client could not get a fair trial in Cobb because of media attention and scrutiny. In May, Cobb Superior Court Judge Mary Staley agreed, and last month, she announced the trial will begin Sept. 12 in Brunswick.

I've met a few people in Brunswick and they'll hang his ass too, so all he's doing is costing is the state a whole heap alot and it's going to make no difference. Feed him to the alligators most likely.

Good luck getting a fair trail anywhere in America buddy. He is so spending the next thirty

years in Jail...maybe more if we're lucky.

I can assure that just about everyone eligible for a jury pool in the greater Atlanta metro area has heard about this pig in some way or another.
Just a fucking waste of time and resources.
And we still gotta look at his stupid face. Not fair.

Ann Rule fan now being questioned as potential juror with 2 arrests. Thinks she was treated unfairly.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/justin-...murder-in-sons-hot-car-death-had-double-life/

Boring said on the day Cooper died, his father sent more than 30 messages on his phone “mostly to women, mostly about sex.”

The month before his son died, Boring said, Harris met a prostitute for sex at a hotel. He had also been trying to persuade an underage, 17-year-old girl to send him a photo of her genitals. Harris was also charged for sending the girl sexually explicit text messages and photos.

He faces life in prison if he’s convicted of murder. Prosecutors decided not to seek the death penalty. The case drew national attention and was so closely followed in Harris’ suburban home of Cobb County that a judge moved the trial 275 miles to Brunswick, on the Georgia coast.

Superior Court Judge Mary Staley Clark recessed court late Monday afternoon following a 90-minute delay in the proceedings after prosecutors gave an outline of their case to the jury. She said attorneys for Harris will have their turn Tuesday morning.

The judge did not give the reason for the delay.

Sixteen total jurors - eight men and eight women - were seated Monday morning to hear the case. Four of them will serve as alternate jurors, who will have a final say in the trial only if one more of the 12 main jurors are dismissed. The judge did not specify which jury members were alternates.

I'm so caught up in the Baby Kate trial that's going on right now, I can't believe I almost missed Pig Face Boy's trial!!

So I found a site that has a daily live-stream of his case here:
http://lawnewz.com/video/watch-live-justin-ross-harris-hot-car-death-trial-day-3/

If you aren't able to watch it live, you can catch up each day by heading to YouTube.
I can't paste the link to a YouTube video without it posting the actual video here, but if you search YouTube for "Justin Harris Trial" you'll see each trial day broken down into 1-2 hour sections (ie: Justin Harris Trial Day 1, Part 1)

All of the pre-trial shenanigans are available to watch on YouTube too.

Now I need to go catch up & see what I've missed so far in Piggy's trial!
(*sniff*sniff* Anyone else smell bacon cooking? Suueeeey!:p)
