Babysitter Montana Jackson Arrested After 3yo Dies In Hot Car

The Pensacola News Journal (http://on.pnj.com/2a79BAl ) reports surveillance video showed the 3-year-old boy getting into a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home in Navarre on Friday.

Santa Rosa Sheriff's officials say a resident found the boy about three hours later. He was taken to a hospital and placed on a ventilator, but died.

One of the home's residents told investigators Montana Jackson was caring for the boy. She was arrested on child neglect charges. Officials say the charges may be upgraded to aggravated manslaughter.

The boy's name hasn't been released. Jackson is in jail.

She had one job, watch the 3yo, where was she for 3 hours that she didn't know he was missing from inside the house?

Hell, if I don't hear my 4 year old for 5 minutes, I go looking. 3 hours is way too long to not notice a child is missing. I'll bet she was high or asleep.

I was going to say 2 minutes is an awful long time for a 3 year old to be out of your sight. They are smart and can open doors, get into the refrigerator and pour their own drinks, not that you want them to, for someone to not know a trhee year old was missing for 3 hours, something is wrong somewhere. Asleep, high, shit faced or dead.

Montana Rain Jackson is smiling for a good reason, at least for her.

On October 3, 2017, Montana received a 3 year probation sentence for her part in the death of the 3 year old toddler she was being paid to watch, but decided to multi-task by combining babysitting responsibilities and sleeping. Her probation period is set to end in October 2, 2020 (6 days from the time I posted this comment).
