I may be unpopular by saying this, but way back in the old days when my son's were young, I did spank them. That's right, I spanked my youngins' and against all odds, they turned out to be great men, husbands and fathers. I spanked, not beat, not punched, not abused.

It breaks my heart to think of a tiny child being left at the mercy of someone this ignorant and out of control. I hope she grows up, gets counseling, and takes a long, hard look at herself before she tries to take care of another child.
