And the sister who dropped them off for a day hike, in an area where many people go. On a mild winter day, when other people were out for some fresh air....

As to his disgusing himself like this, with BULKY LOOSE fitting clothing, I hate to say it, but the picture does not give much for anyone to go by really. The only thing we can really see is bulky loose fitting pants and over padded jacket, (another shirt or jacket?) underneath it, all making him look bigger than he really is maybe? All we can see is pants, and jacket coming down the bridge, with no real view of the face. I took a magnifying glass to the face and could see it a bit better, but my dumb magnifying glass is a cheap-o and has a light on it. Anyone got a magnifying glass will you try it and see if you can see better? He looks between age 30-early 40's to me.

If they would have left as soon as they saw him approach "onto" the bridge, used the phone to call 911, the outcome of this might have turned out different it is WHY they always teach kids STRANGER DANGER, recognize strangers and RUN!!! I'm thinking Libby knew this, was uncomfortable with being on the bridge as he slowly made his approach and this was why she photographed him, her intuiIion. At the RISK of putting myself up to RIDICULE especially after JAKE88 made numerous comments accussing me that MY COMMENTS came off sounding like I was "a psychic" (after his reading the conversations between me and another member)- -intuition, not psychic! And I think everyone has this ability to different degrees, some people better than others, what me and this other member were [comparing notes] for which Jake88 read. But here's the deal, I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, I've had this happen before in a case and I turned out to be right, but failed "to act" on my intution! I failed to act because I thought the cops would think I was crazy! I didn't know how to answer "how I knew" ("I don't know, I just know"????!!!!) so I didn't. Sometimes my intuition is RIGHT ON! Sometimes it's off by a little bit, sometimes it's total off! But, I relax, think of questions, wait for "the first word that pops into my head." Out of a bunch of questions, not all will be right, might just be off a bit. But when I thought "what's his name?" CARL (I ask the question over and over in my head till the word pops into my head), not a name many guys have now days, an "older" name. Second question "what state is he IN, is said "IN" not from, like "where is he right now." this is when i was astounded and knew I was on track cause I got NEBRASKA, out of the all 50 states, if asked to name as many as I could, Nebraska is one of the few state I would miss, as in pass over! So that told me right then and there I was on the right track! Then the next question "what city is he FROM" (not IN but FROM) and I got Fort Wayne! I was like WTF! so I immediately ran to the Internet and typed in Fort Wayne, Nebraska. I later discovered there was NO FORT WAYNE NEBRASKA but there IS a FORT WAYNE INDIANA and guess what?!!! IT'S RIGHT BY DELPHI INDIANA!!!!!!!!!!!! I googled the directions between both and it's 2 hrs from Delphi Indiana! I was not even looking for it (thought it was non existant since it wasn't in Nebraska) then when I was looking at city of Delphi on the Map I saw it! Blew me away!!! But MY THEORY has been the killer has been on the property the girls were discovered [as a child growing up], he didn't "chance" upon this location (not even if he was a hunter)- -He had prior knowledge of it. He chose it because it was a place he felt "comfortable" with to do what he did. Comfortable he wouldn't be discovered, or the bodies would be discovered, to avoid being caught, his #1 priority! Anyway, getting back to business here; this news article says "Abby and Liberty’s bodies were found IN "a creek." I knew "near" a creak but are they now saying "in it?"
and said: Liberty also captured footage of a creepy stalker in jeans "after growing uneasy about him."

Remembering when Steve Irwin died while filming, and they gave his wife the only copy of the death that existed. She said she watched it once, then destroyed it (mostly for fear someone would make it public if she didn't.)
If it were my child (ugh) I know that I couldn't NOT watch it, I'd have to know. But whatever was on it would haunt me until I breathed my last.
For that reason, I hope most of it was not captured; if the DNA points to someone and he's the guy from the picture, they won't need a video of it to convict him.
I usually fear a case will grow cold and unsolved, but this one not so much. With this one I don't think so, mostly because of the brevity and presence of mind of Liberty German in her last hours.

I belong to a Facebook group that exists solely to discuss the murder of these girls; it was getting so bananas that the mods finally had to clamp down. Now only mods can post fresh posts, but everyone is free to comment on those posts.
Anyway, the bottom line is that there are no real updates--only speculations. The biggest bit of "news" is that an employee at a Chrysler plant in Kokomo was interviewed and willingly gave DNA this week, but he wasn't formerly arrested. Whether or not he is suspected in the girls' murders remains unknown. His name is Jimmy Duvall and he was convicted of a sex crime against a pre-teen girl in the '80s; he served his time and is now free. He has some questionable things on his Facebook page, like a meme showing a creepy clown that says "violets are blue, your blood is red, your window was open...I'm under your bed!" and a graphic that says "My doctor told me to start killing people. Well not those exact words. He said I had to reduce the stress in my life. Same thing." There are lots of rumors circulating about this guy in the group and I'm not sure if any are valid.
A number of folks in the group phoned in tips, too, including some that seem quite promising.
Another member visited the bridge itself and posted some photos of it. What's interesting is that the photos show large gaps between the railroad ties. She wrote, "A few steps out and I had major vertigo and couldn't walk any further. Some of the slats are so far from each other, and you can see straight down to the creek. If the girls and killer were on the bridge at the same time, I can't imagine anyone running on the bridge without tripping." I know there has been some speculation along the lines of, "If they were suspicious enough of him to take his photo/shoot video, why didn't they turn around and run away?" Seeing the bridge made me realize how difficult this would be. I'm not afraid of heights and I have no qualms with things like walking on rope bridges or glass bridges over canyons, but I think the distance between those ties would honestly make even me nervous. I'd have to walk slowly and carefully. Running would be out of the question. I don't know how far they had gotten across the bridge at that point; maybe they were smack dab in the middle and turned around and tried to run/speed walk away but tripped in the gap between ties. Or maybe they realized how dangerous it could be and opted to walk slowly and carefully, and he was able to catch up with them because they had quite a distance to go.
