@lithiumgirl - a cop with kleptomania issues? I guess it could happen...

It did happen. House full of cops there for my best friends marriage breakup melt down.

Me: What the fuck are you doing man...put that back.

Him: Hey how did this get here? (takes it out of his pocket, puts it back on the door)

*** That part was weirder than watching him put it in his pocket. There were six cops in the house none of the other cops said anything. So from here...one thief and five loyal in the wrong direction.

I am just shocked they send a police officer to that area alone. You would think in these rough neighborhoods every officer would have a partner. The race card sure is getting played a lot on these forums as of late. Do you guys honestly belive if this had been a black cop they would have just let him do his job?
Hi, m. I don't see the race issue actually being a major factor here. I believe it is a part of the incident but not as much as continually widening gap between the haves and the rest of us.
Sending an officer alone on patrol is not unusual in major urban centers. Massive budget constraints/cutbacks have relegated many civil functions to barely functioning, bare bones operations and thus, have necessitated many departments, police included, to absorb the loss and still try to function.
However, I am absolutely certain areas such as the neighborhoods where the mayor, the city manager and council members live are heavily patrolled to keep riff-raff from tainting and/or despoiling the 'American Way of Life' for them. I have seen this scenario repeated in many cities throughout this country.
While I have absolutely no love for the constabulary, per se, I do not wish them any harm, either. I do understand it is only a job. A job which many cannot, and should not attempt to accomplish, as most do not have the internal constitution and temperament to do so honestly and effectively.
This conversion (read:perversion) of financial responsibility from the elected leaders to the various departments under their purview, is indicative of the many ills this country must overcome so we do not ultimately perish in ignominy like the many so-called glorious ancient civilizations, such as the Romans, or the Egyptians.
We need to clean house throughout this entire nation. Massively and severely! Starting at the top (look at what is vying for perhaps the most prestigious job in the world...wtf? Is that the best we have!?!) and and yes, not stopping (get those leeches and bums out of Congress) or allowing anything like this current fiasco occur ever again and continue until we are back on track as a nation Of the People, By the People and For the people! We did it to ourselves and we need to correct it!!!

We don't need a hole Jack...Once when we were closing the bar, the bouncer wouldn't let me back inside to go to the bathroom...fine. I pulled down my pants, squatted and pee'd right at his feet. Fuck you buddy...your no means nothing. You should have seen the owners face when I walked back in the next weekend...astonished! Suddenly I'm more famous at his bar than he is...we hugged..I danced all night.

Ewww...don't they have a little broom or scoop or something?

I don't want to know about this train at all...and I like trains B.
[doublepost=1461033409][/doublepost]

I like this...But perhaps its easier to ask from a different angle...and ask WHO likes the POLICE?

Old ladies and little kids. People who are in immediate danger (as if there is ever a cop around when you need one) so basically nobody. And not without good reason too. Police are people too and some cops aren't worth a damn.

I considered how weird that would be too...like what if you were drunk...or stupid. that could hurt.
You pissed at the bouncers feet in front of the bar and think thats hysterical? Thats just disgusting...and most places would have banned you..not welcome you back with open arms. My dog wont even piss on the sidewalk. Just sayin..

This video sickens me.
All I see are a bunch of jackoffs with no respect for authority of any kind.
Wall the neighbourhood off and don't dispatch any EMS in there.
See how they feel when they need policing or help and it is not there because they shat all over it like retarded little kids.

I suppose I'm a different kind of dog.

The sentence
"I apologize for what took place," [Micheal] Mays said Thursday, wearing a bright orange jail uniform and seated in a witness box in a downtown Nashville courtroom.

[Brian] Mays has been in jail for 14 months, since three days after the brawl when he turned himself in. He looked at [Officer] Cammarn, who was in the second row of public courtroom seating and wearing his police uniform.

"I was caught up in the moment, just trying to help my family," Mays said. "I hope you fully recover."

Criminal Court Judge Steve Dozier's job to decide whether each man would serve an agreed-upon four year sentence on probation or in prison.

Citing differences in their prior criminal histories and the roles each played in Cammarn's injuries, Dozier sentenced Mays to prison time and Shannon to 30 days in jail, and then the probation term.
