AKRON, OH – Jessica Smallwood was sentenced to one year in prison after she attacked the principal of her son’s elementary school, along with two other staff members, when told she could not eat breakfast with her son without a visitor’s pass.
The incident happened back in February and caused Glover elementary school to go into lockdown mode. It started when Smallwood, 26, accompanied her 7-year-old son inside the school to eat breakfast with him.
According to Smallwood, her special-needs son was often the target of bullies, so she would often eat breakfast with him at the school. According to Smallwood’s sister, she is known by the staff at the school and had made them aware of her son’s bullying situation.
When she arrived on the morning of the incident, a staffer allegedly told her that she didn’t need to sign in and let her proceed to the cafeteria with her son. Moments later, Principal Nancy Rich approached her and told her she needed to get a visitor’s pass or leave the school.…Continue Reading
SILOAM SPRINGS, AR – We’ve been reporting on teachers sleeping with students for almost ten years, but I swear it seems as if it’s becoming more common. So much so that I now have to choose which teacher story I want to write up.
Today I chose not to go with the Oklahoma teacher who followed a student 650 miles to have sex, and decided on 32-year-old Mary Faith McCormick. She’s the married teacher who just got busted having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old student.
According to the affidavit, the sexual relationship between the two began after a friend of the 13-year-old dared him to contact McCormick. He did, and McCormick reciprocated.
The relationship eventually turned into a sexual one with the two having sex on at least two occasions between June and August. On one of these occasions, the boy and a friend went over to McCormick’s apartment to watch a movie where the 13-year-old had sex with McCormick in her bedroom.
The two were busted mainly because of their Snapchat activity.…Continue Reading
WAGONER, OK – Police arrested Lorie Hill at Wagoner High School on Monday after she was found drunk in her classroom and not wearing any pants.
Hill is a newly hired teacher for Wagoner Public Schools and was found by two other teachers slumped over a desk in an empty classroom on the first day back at school for teachers.
“They didn’t know who she was, she was apparently new and was supposed to start yesterday,” Police Chief Bob Haley said.
When police arrived, they found the 49-year-old in principal’s office where someone had given her some shorts to wear. Hill admitted to police that she’d been drinking, and an empty cup smelling of vodka was found inside her car.
Since police could not prove she was intoxicated when she drove her vehicle, Hill was only charged with public intoxication. The Wagoner School District declined to comment on any possible disciplinary actions against Lorie, saying they do not comment on personnel matters.
Parents are, understandably, outraged. “I don’t know, as an adult, I just don’t know how you can be a professional teacher and teaching young people, and then show up drunk,” said one parent.…Continue Reading
PERRY HALL, MD — A father hit a teacher with a baseball bat after finding the teacher had engaged in some inappropriate texts with his teenage daughter.
Police were firsts contacted by the mother of a 15-year-old student at Perry Hall High School after she discovered a series of text messages between her daughter and a 42-year-old teacher at the school.
When police arrived and checked out the messages, they agreed that the texts seem to show an emotional relationship between the teen and the teacher that seemed inappropriate, but none of it constituted a crime.
Police would return to the home several hours later after receiving a disturbance report. The father of the teen said the teacher showed up at the family’s home wanting to talk. When the teacher refused to leave as he was instructed, the teen’s father hit the teacher with a baseball bat.
The teacher sustained minor injuries but said he did not wish to pursue charges. The names of the teacher and the father are not being released as neither of them have been charged with a crime. …Continue Reading
QUEENS, NY – Joy Morsi, a 39-year-old gym teacher at Grover Cleveland High School, is facing a slew of rape charges after being accused of having a year-long sexual relationship with at least two underage students.
Police say Morsi, a married mother of four children, offered to help a 16-year-old member of the school’s wrestling team lose some weight. This relationship eventually lead to Morsi sending him sexually charged emails and “raunchy selfies”, before taking him into a gym closet and showing the teen her nice tits.
According to prosecutor Taylor Piscionere, the pair then had 20 to 30 more sexual encounters in and out of the school over the next six weeks, including inside the school’s basement and inside her car. This relationship continued for almost a year, ending only a couple of weeks ago after a jealous Morsi flipped out when she found out the teen, now 17, had gotten himself a date to the prom..
A female friend of the teen told her mother about what was happening and that girl’s mother, who works in the school system, informed another education department employee.…Continue Reading
Brooklyn, NY – Two boys, ages 9 and 12, have been arrested after they allegedly put rat poison pellets in their teacher’s water bottle.
According to reports, the boys were at PS 315 in Flatbush on Monday when they decided to spice up one of their teacher’s water with some poison. The boys were busted after another student saw what they had done and reported it to their mother, who contacted the school.
School officials ended up calling police after rat poison pellets were found in one the boy’s backpacks. The teacher had already drank from the water bottle and ended up going to the doctor for some mild nausea. The fourth-grade teacher was treated and released.
Both boys are now facing charges of attempted assault, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon, said police. According to the police commissioner, the boys put a small amount of the poison in the teacher’s water because “the 9-year-old wanted to see what the reaction would be.”

HANCOCK COUNTY, OH – A teacher only received a 10 day suspension after school surveillance cameras capture her assaulting a 6-year-old kindergartner, and the kid’s parents aren’t too happy about that.
The parents of Ian Nelson were outraged when they were provided surveillance footage that showed their son, Ian, as he is confronted by his teacher, Barb Williams, as he walks out of the school bathroom at Riverdale Local Schools.
Williams can be seen first grabbing Ian and pinning him against the wall before grabbing him by the face and then picking him up off the floor by his shirt. The video ends as she drags him by tharm into the bathroom.
There’s no information on exactly why Williams was so angry at the kid, but the school ended up suspending Williams for 10 days. As you can probably understand, Ian’s parents aren’t satisfied with that response – especially since there are only 10 days left in the school year.
Ian’s parents want Williams terminated and plan on taking the video to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office to try to file criminal charges against Williams.…Continue Reading

Houston, TX – A Texas middle school teacher is facing sexual assault charges after she was accused of giving a 15-year-old student a blowjob in her classroom.
According to Harris County court documents, police began investigating 43-year-old Corrie Anne Long after a student at Hopper Middle School informed staff that they’d witnessed some odd behavior between Long and one of her math students. They said they witnessed the student smack the teacher on the ass, and had seen Long sitting on the boy’s lap.
When police talked to the student allegedly involved in an appropriate relationship with Long, he told them he had known long since sixth-grade, and that she performed oral sex on him in her classroom last November. After hugging the boy’s penis with her mouth, she told him not to tell anyone or she would lose her job.

TACOMA, WA – A former sixth-grade teacher was sentenced to six months in jail for sexually abusing a 12-year-old student for over a year, but with four months already served, will spend the remaining two months at home.
Keshia Shaw was a math and science teacher at at Tacoma’s Gray Middle School when she first started molesting one of her students in 2007. The sexual abuse continued for over a year and a half, stopping only after the boy heard a sermon about molestation and finally told his mother what was happening.
Shaw would eventually plead guilty to two counts of second-degree child rape, in exchange for a six-month sentence. Judge McCarthy delivered the sentence on Tuesday, but was reluctant. He said he’d read through the court documents and didn’t like that Shaw kinda shifted some of the blame on the victim.
However, standing before the judge, Shaw took full responsibility for her actions and Judge McCarthy ended up crediting her for the four months she’s already served, and agreed to let her go home with a monitoring device to serve out the remaining two months.…Continue Reading
MULLICA TOWNSHIP, NJ — Residents of Mullica Township are rallying behind Kelly Mascio, a teacher for more than 15 years who was suspended after finding two students naked in her classroom bathroom and promptly reported it to a principal.
On Sept. 30, Mascio found two 5-year-olds — a boy and girl — inside her in-classroom bathroom together. Both were naked and told Mascio they were “having sex.” Mascio reported the incident to the principal, who then called police and the state Department of Youth and Family Services.
In response, Mascio was immediately suspended with pay even though police found no reason to pursue criminal charges against her and closed the case. Now Superintendent Brenda Harring-Marro has filed tenure charges against Mascio in an effort to have her fired permanently.
The Board of Education met Wednesday night to determine whether to certify the charges, but refused to inform the public — including about 200 people who came out to support Mascio — whether it had certified the complaint or not.
Mullica Township Education Association President Barbara Rheault said this was Mascio’s first year teaching kindergartners and that the day of the incident was a confusing one as children were moving in and out of Mascio’s classroom for MAPS benchmark testing.…Continue Reading

An investigation was started that quickly led to her arrest when the boys mother went to police, concerned that her son was having sex with his teacher.
During the trial, prosecutors displayed over 230 pages of sextings between Anderson and the boy. Anderson claims the messages were intended to promote sexual therapy and academia in order to make him a better student. She stated “That was my purpose, to gain his attention. KANSAS CITY, MO - A mother who got angry with her son’s kindergarten teacher has been accused of hitting her in the face, jerking her hair, and then ramming the teacher’s head against a filing cabinet.
Kansas City police say the attack occurred Thursday afternoon after 24-year-old Simone Baker entered her son’s kindergarten classroom at Truman Elementary to talk to the teacher “about what her son stated (the teacher) did to him in class earlier today.”
Baker’s 6-year-old son had returned home from school with a scratch on his neck that he stated was inflicted by his teacher after he had gotten into trouble at school earlier that day.
The teacher reportedly told Baker that if she wanted to speak with her and the principal regarding her son, she needed to return on Friday. Instead, Baker went to the principal’s office where she reportedly created a scene.
“She came up to the school very irate,” said Ebony Walker, the school district’s spokeswoman. “The administration did everything they could do to keep her calm.…Continue Reading
