baseball batPERRY HALL, MD — A father hit a teacher with a baseball bat after finding the teacher had engaged in some inappropriate texts with his teenage daughter.

Police were firsts contacted by the mother of a 15-year-old student at Perry Hall High School after she discovered a series of text messages between her daughter and a 42-year-old teacher at the school.

When police arrived and checked out the messages, they agreed that the texts seem to show an emotional relationship between the teen and the teacher that seemed inappropriate, but none of it constituted a crime.

Police would return to the home several hours later after receiving a disturbance report. The father of the teen said the teacher showed up at the family’s home wanting to talk. When the teacher refused to leave as he was instructed, the teen’s father hit the teacher with a baseball bat.

The teacher sustained minor injuries but said he did not wish to pursue charges. The names of the teacher and the father are not being released as neither of them have been charged with a crime. …

Joy MorsiQUEENS, NY – Joy Morsi, a 39-year-old gym teacher at Grover Cleveland High School, is facing a slew of rape charges after being accused of having a year-long sexual relationship with at least two underage students.

Police say Morsi, a married mother of four children, offered to help a 16-year-old member of the school’s wrestling team lose some weight. This relationship eventually lead to Morsi sending him sexually charged emails and “raunchy selfies”, before taking him into a gym closet and showing the teen her nice tits.

This relationship continued for almost a year, ending only a couple of weeks ago after a jealous Morsi flipped out when she found out the teen, now 17, had gotten himself a date to the prom..

Barb WilliamsHANCOCK COUNTY, OH – A teacher only received a 10 day suspension after school surveillance cameras capture her assaulting a 6-year-old kindergartner, and the kid’s parents aren’t too happy about that.

The parents of Ian Nelson were outraged when they were provided surveillance footage that showed their son, Ian, as he is confronted by his teacher, Barb Williams, as he walks out of the school bathroom at Riverdale Local Schools.

Williams can be seen first grabbing Ian and pinning him against the wall before grabbing him by the face and then picking him up off the floor by his shirt. The video ends as she drags him by tharm into the bathroom.

There’s no information on exactly why Williams was so angry at the kid, but the school ended up suspending Williams for 10 days. As you can probably understand, Ian’s parents aren’t satisfied with that response – especially since there are only 10 days left in the school year.

Ian’s parents want Williams terminated and plan on taking the video to the Hancock County Sheriff’s Office to try to file criminal charges against Williams.…

Keshia ShawTACOMA, WA – A former sixth-grade teacher was sentenced to six months in jail for sexually abusing a 12-year-old student for over a year, but with four months already served, will spend the remaining two months at home.

Keshia Shaw was a math and science teacher at at Tacoma’s Gray Middle School when she first started molesting one of her students in 2007. Shaw would eventually plead guilty to two counts of second-degree child rape, in exchange for a six-month sentence. Judge McCarthy delivered the sentence on Tuesday, but was reluctant. He said he’d read through the court documents and didn’t like that Shaw kinda shifted some of the blame on the victim.

However, standing before the judge, Shaw took full responsibility for her actions and Judge McCarthy ended up crediting her for the four months she’s already served, and agreed to let her go home with a monitoring device to serve out the remaining two months.…

Kelly MascioMULLICA TOWNSHIP, NJ — Residents of Mullica Township are rallying behind Kelly Mascio, a teacher for more than 15 years who was suspended after finding two students naked in her classroom bathroom and promptly reported it to a principal.

On Sept. 30, Mascio found two 5-year-olds — a boy and girl — inside her in-classroom bathroom together. Both were naked and told Mascio they were “having sex.” Mascio reported the incident to the principal, who then called police and the state Department of Youth and Family Services.

In response, Mascio was immediately suspended with pay even though police found no reason to pursue criminal charges against her and closed the case. Now Superintendent Brenda Harring-Marro has filed tenure charges against Mascio in an effort to have her fired permanently.

The Board of Education met Wednesday night to determine whether to certify the charges, but refused to inform the public — including about 200 people who came out to support Mascio — whether it had certified the complaint or not.

Mullica Township Education Association President Barbara Rheault said this was Mascio’s first year teaching kindergartners and that the day of the incident was a confusing one as children were moving in and out of Mascio’s classroom for MAPS benchmark testing.…

Truman SchoolKANSAS CITY, MO - A mother who got angry with her son’s kindergarten teacher has been accused of hitting her in the face, jerking her hair, and then ramming the teacher’s head against a filing cabinet.

Kansas City police say the attack occurred Thursday afternoon after 24-year-old Simone Baker entered her son’s kindergarten classroom at Truman Elementary to talk to the teacher “about what her son stated (the teacher) did to him in class earlier today.”

Baker’s 6-year-old son had returned home from school with a scratch on his neck that he stated was inflicted by his teacher after he had gotten into trouble at school earlier that day.

The teacher reportedly told Baker that if she wanted to speak with her and the principal regarding her son, she needed to return on Friday. Instead, Baker went to the principal’s office where she reportedly created a scene.

“She came up to the school very irate,” said Ebony Walker, the school district’s spokeswoman. “The administration did everything they could do to keep her calm.…

Cynthia AmbroseLaredo, TX – The elementary school teacher found guilty of instructing her kindergarten class line up and slap a kid because of his alleged bullying has been sentenced to 30 days in jail.

Cynthia Ambrose was found guilty of official oppression in June after an incident that was reported by another teacher.

Last May, Barbara Ramirez, a teacher at Salinas Elementary, witnessed 6-year-old Aiden Neely hit another student. Ramirez asked fellow teacher Ambrose how she should handle it, and Ambrose came up with a terrible idea.

Her idea consisted of having the boy sit in her classroom and then instructing her 24 kindergartners to file past him and give him a nice slap.

“He was hit on the head, in the face, on the back. And all the kids hit him twice,” said Aiden’s mother. “He had friends in that class, and friends didn’t want to hit him, but the teacher instructed them to hit him.”

What initially started off as light pats, ended at Ambrose’s insistence. “It started out as a pat,” Ramirez said.…

John M. AzabacheOSSINING, NY – A high school teacher from upstate New York spent Friday night on a jail cot instead of his wedding bed after being charged with raping a 16-year-old student. Does that count as missing an important engagement?

The teacher, John M. Azabache, was arrested after the girl’s family contacted police, and surrendered at Ossining Town Court on Friday afternoon. According to the girl, the couple allegedly had sexual relations twice between March and July, although not on school property.

Azabache pleaded not guilty to third-degree rape and posted $50,000 bail. At his arraignment, Justice Nancy Quinn Koba asked Azabache whether he understood the order of protection she was issuing to keep him away from his alleged victim, the would’ve-been bride, Amanda Rae DeLuccia and two members of her family. “They are witnesses to events after the fact,” Koba said of DeLuccia and the relatives named.

Defense lawyer Tony Castro said Azabache’s wedding to DeLuccia, originally scheduled for Friday, was canceled. Gee, ya think? The attorney would not say whether the cancellation had anything to do with his client’s criminal charges.…

Lisa DavisOTHELLO, WA – A fifth-grade teacher in the small community of Othello has been accused of molesting one her 10-year-old male students.

The school district began an investigation on May 30 after receiving information from another teacher that Davis was engaging in activities that were “inappropriate or at least unprofessional,” said George Juarez, Othello School District superintendent. To be more specific, the 48-year-old married mother of three has been accused of molesting the boy in her 5th grade Scootney Springs Elementary classroom, and taking him to the movies alone.

The student would later confirm Davis touched him inappropriately both on campus and off, and Davis was placed on leave. She resigned weeks later, on June 18, before the investigations by the district and police were completed. Police investigated the allegations for a month before handing their findings over to the Adams County Prosecutor. “We did refer it up as a child molestation case in the 1st degree. That’s what the information supports,” says Chief Steve Dunnagan.

The Prosecutor’s Office will now look at the information they’ve received and decide if there’s enough evidence to charge Davis with two counts of first-degree child molestation. …
