Myrtle Beach, South Carolina – There was a disturbing shooting incident at Carolina Forest High School on FridayFriday reviews involving an autistic teen and the school’s resource officer. On Friday morning 15-year-old Trevor Varinecz asked to speak with resource officer, Marcus Rhodes. The two went inside his  office and shut the door. Teachers described hearing shouting from inside the office and when they entered, witnessed Varinecz attacking Rhodes with a large knife. Rhodes was stabbed multiple times and in self-defense, returned fire hitting Varinecz multiple times. Both of them were taken to Conway Medical Center where Varinecz was pronounced dead, and Rhodes was later released. Rhodes has been been an employee of the Horry County Police Department for almost ten years. Neighbor’s say Varinecz wasn’t a trouble maker, but rather a functioning autistic teenager whose parents integrated him into normal activities.  No word on why Varinecz wanted to talk to Rhodes, or how the altercation started. MONT VERNON, New Hampshire – Residents of the small, hilly town of Mont Vernon are in a state of shock after four teens entered a home to rob it, and attacked a 41-year-old mother and her 11-year-old daughter. Using a machete and a knife, Kimberly Cates was attacked while she lay in her bed and killed by multiple sharp injuries to the head, torso, left arm, and left leg. Her daughter survived the attack although she suffered severe stabbing injuries and spent hours in surgery. The attack was a completely random one, Cate’s home chosen simply because it was isolated. “They picked the house at random because it was in an isolated area,” prosecutor N. Las Vegas, Nevada – Tom and Carla Chester were found dead in their Heritage Village mobile home on Wednesday by their 22-year-old daughter. 57-year-old Tom had been shot in the head, 51-year-old Carla had been shot and stabbed in the neck. Their Dodge Journey was missing and before long, their 18-year-old son, Timothy Chester, was named a suspect. At around 6 p.m., the mother of 18-year-old Victor Veliz called 911 informing them that her son had just admitted to killing the couple at the request of Timothy, his best friend. Timothy was apprehended on Thursday morning near the Hoover dam and now that both are in custody, the details on what happened that Wednesday afternoon, and how much worse it could have been, are chilling. The 911 dispatcher, a little taken aback by Le’s somewhat relaxed demeanor, asked Le why she was so calm. Holly Township, MI – We’ve heard it said here on the Dreamin’ Demon time and time again, “The only true cure for a pedophile is death.” Well, Dennis McCarthy has been cured. The world doesn’t have to worry about the pervy fucker ever laying his filthy hands on another child – someone wasn’t pleased with the fact that McCarthy was roaming free and got all stabby on his ass, er, I mean neck. A mere week after McCarthy was released from prison, where he had just completed a one year sentence for sexually assaulting his 4-year-old grandson. Authorities seem to think that this wasn’t a random attack and that he may have known his attacker. No shit? You don’t say. I wonder what led them to that conclusion? McCarthy’s wife told officers that she heard some strange noises at about 4:00 Sunday morning and went downstairs to investigate and check the locks on the doors. At about that time, an intruder busted through the back door. When McCarthy came downstairs to see what all the ruckus was about, the intruder walked past McCarthy’s wife, right up to McCarthy, stabbed him in the neck, and left the home. Done and done. Annville, PA – The couple had been out all day shopping at the local big box retailer and were eager to get back to the trailer. They had just picked up a box of fried chicken and Larry Coletti, 51, was hungry. But tragically so was FidoFido reviews, which set off a grisly chain of events leading to Larry’s death. Apparently Pamela Poorman, 55, was going to feed poochy before feeding the man of the house and that pissed Larry off. Pamela later confided in police that she had been being abused for some time, so it’s not a leap here to imagine that maybe Larry had his panties a little bit in a wad about the pecking order thing. He was probably all up in her face  yelling and maybe acting like he wanted to serve her an open faced knuckle sammich instead of chicken. They began to fight. Pamela thought of a good way to end it: she picks up a big RamboRambo IV reviews style survival knife and threatens him with it. Apparently that didn’t work so she stabbed him in the ass a couple times. He died later that night due to complications from blood loss. Clermont, FL – Writing a story about some asshole setting his current/ex girlfriend on fire is nothing new – sadly enough, it happens more than one might think it would. What is shocking about this particular story is not only the violence of the act, but the ages of the parties involved – just 14 and 15-years-old. Calva Haskell, 15, is accused of stabbing 14-year-old Taylor Mack several times before squirting some kind of flammable liquid on her and setting her on fire. At about 5:30 Wednesday morning, Taylor snuck out of her house to meet and talk with Calva, who is believed to be her ex-boyfriend. The topic of the conversation is unknown, but, shortly after the two met, Taylor was running to a neighbor’s home screaming for help. After the attack, Calva returned home, where he was later arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder. Calva has no previous criminal history, is said to be a popular kid, and is active in school and sports. What the fuck happened in this kid’s brain to set him off like that? Authorities don’t have a motive as of yet, but, friends of both kids seem to think it’s because Calva had moved on after the relationship, had already hooked up with another girl, and was upset that Taylor still had feelings for him. Officials report that Taylor is listed in serious condition – the details and extent of her injuries are unknown. I’ll update this story as more details become available.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin – Crimes of passion are often referred to as temporary insanity. I sure even people with a sweet disposition reach a snapping point and react severely when the heat of the moment reaches its pique. And so it’s always interesting to see how crimes of passion play out in court:  How they’re defended and how they’re prosecuted. Not knowing if this next case will use this as part of its defense, I think it’s safe to say maybe it should be. Add this and the fact the perpetrator is a 13 year-old girl from Wisconsin, where state law dictates that children over the age of ten, charged with first or second-degree homicide, must be charged in adult court. MAITLAND, Florida. – 60-year-old Diana May called 911 on Monday to report that her 18-year-old son had gone psychotic and had just stabbed her in the arm with a butter knife. While on the phone with 911, she informs them that they need to hurry as her son was looking for another weapon. At the urging of the dispatcher, Diana locks herself in the bathroom but can then be heard yelling “He’s here and he’s got a pitch fork. Don’t do it! Don’t do it! Don’t do it!” when Alex confronts her again with a two-pronged barbecue fork. The line then goes dead. Police arrive at the scene and find Alex in the bathroom. BURLINGTON, Vermont – Police received a 911 call from a distraught man on Sunday who claimed that he had just stopped 23-year-old Valerie Beale from stabbing their infant to death because it would not stop crying. He was injured in the process and claimed that she stated she was “going to put a smile on its face“. She was arrested near the scene and is now facing attempted murder and domestic violence charges. I am pretty sure I found her MyspaceMySpace (it was pretty easy) and if it is – whew, are people gonna have a field day with that one. San Antonio, TX – Well folks, this is one of those stories that is going to make your stomach turn.  Not much shocks me anymore, but every once in a while, a story will come along that makes me want to head straight for an underground bunker with some rations and wait out the apocalypse.  Early Sunday morning, Otty Sanchez’s mother went to check on her daughter and new grandson and walked into something horrible.  A scene that probably resembled something straight out of the goriest horror flick.  She found Sanchez cradling the decapitated and badly mutilated body of 3 1/2 week old baby Scott Wesley Buchholtz-Sanchez.  Pretty bad huh?  Hold on, it gets much much worse.
