WEST PHILADELPHIA – Scarce info at this point, but the news is reporting that two teens got into an argument on a school bus that ended when a 15-year-old pulled out a gun and shot at the 17-year-old, grazing his ear. The injuries were not life-threatening, but the victim shit his pants was taken to the hospital where he was reported to be in stable condition. The suspect then shoved the gun in the bus driver’s face before getting off and fleeing the scene. He was arrested a couple blocks away still carrying the .25-caliber handgun. The school bus was on its way to the CEP Miller Disciplinary School, where both the shooter and the victim are students. No word on if the bus had cameras installed. Belen, New Mexico – The story of any son getting so angry at their father that he would shoot them in the back of the head is tragic enough but this story is compounded by the fact that Benjamin Hilburn was only 10 when he pulled the trigger. Benjamin would state in the 911 call that he was angry at his father, 42-year-old Bryon Hilburn. He would expand on that later, telling investigators he felt his father was too harsh with him and punished him too much. In August police say Benjamin shot his dad in the back of the head with a shotgun while his 6-year-old sister was in the room. Benjamin, now 11 years old, is in the custody of his mother and has been charged with first-degree murder. It is quite possible he is the youngest person to be charged with murder in New Mexico, a state that does not charge anyone under 14 as adults. NEW ROCHELLE, New York – 29-year-old James Pileggi, an Eastchester police officer for two years, was off-duty the other day sitting in the passenger seat of an SUV with two other men. He was showing how the laser feature on his 9mm Glock service weapon worked when he accidentally showed 27-year-old Andrew Everett how deadly the weapon is by shooting him in the throat. Everett, who was standing outside of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the hospital. Pileggi has been charged with second-degree manslaughter. FLEMING ISLAND, Florida - When Dana Whitelaw, 47, got out of the shower Tuesday morning, she found her entire family dead. Her husband, Jerry Whitelaw, 49, had shot their two children — 16-year-old son, Kevin, and 11-year-old daughter, Katy — while they slept. He then turned the gun on himself. Court records show that Dana had filed for divorce in late AugustAugust reviews after 16 years of marriage, but continued to live together during the process. SAVANNAH, Georgia – 22-year-old Scott Allen Elder and 24-year-old Brian Matison got into a series of escalating arguments over the phone and through text messages all because of a misdialed number. These exchanges led to the pair deciding to meet in an CVS parking lot at 2:30 a.m Tuesday to settle their differences. This meeting of the minds ended with Matison being taken to the hospital in serious condition after Elder shot him. As for Elder, he ended up with a damaged vehicle and a trip to Chatham County jail on a felony aggravated assault charge. Police are calling the incident senseless. “We don’t know what the circumstances are. What we do know is that it was just a mistaken phone call. ESSEX, Maryland – An off-duty Baltimore police officer, Eric Michael Janik, 36, was taking his 9-year-old daughter through the haunted house attraction, The House of Screams, along with another police officer, Lisa Michelle Hinkley. When they reached the end of tour, they ran into Michael Brian Morrison, 32. An employee of the attraction who gives the paying customers one final scream dressed as Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw MassacreThe Texas Chainsaw Massacre reviews films. Monroe, New York – Police have possibly thwarted a 15-yer-old boy’s plan to attack Monroe-Woodbury High School on the anniversary of the 1999 Columbine School shootings. Police arrested the teen on Monday after police executed a search warrant at his residence and found four bottles filled with gasoline, a torch, machete, black trench coat, three propane tanks, two computers, items that could be used as fuses and several other electronic devices. The teen had actively been seeking a military assault-type weapon that could “hold as many rounds as possible.” He admitted to his plan in a police interview, nonchalantly explaining what he intended to do. “He said that he had a lot of hatred toward a lot of the kids who attend that school,” a Monroe Police Department press release said. He stated he had been bullied by students and had been told that he resembled Columbine shooter Eric Harris. His parents were clueless of his motives, or the materials located in the garage. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina – There was a disturbing shooting incident at Carolina Forest High School on FridayFriday reviews involving an autistic teen and the school’s resource officer. On Friday morning 15-year-old Trevor Varinecz asked to speak with resource officer, Marcus Rhodes. The two went inside his  office and shut the door. Teachers described hearing shouting from inside the office and when they entered, witnessed Varinecz attacking Rhodes with a large knife. Rhodes was stabbed multiple times and in self-defense, returned fire hitting Varinecz multiple times. Both of them were taken to Conway Medical Center where Varinecz was pronounced dead, and Rhodes was later released. Rhodes has been been an employee of the Horry County Police Department for almost ten years. Neighbor’s say Varinecz wasn’t a trouble maker, but rather a functioning autistic teenager whose parents integrated him into normal activities.  No word on why Varinecz wanted to talk to Rhodes, or how the altercation started. Marina del Rey, California 75-year-old Mostafa Zayed provided his neighborhood with an extra special HalloweenHalloween reviews display. I think you must be very careful when constructing an arrangement, only include things that might not spoil in the heat that Marina del Rey has this time of year. It was with this lack of foresight that triggered extra attention to Zayed’s 3rd story apartment balcony. I think that little presentation started to smell like something distinct…like a rotting corpse. That’s right. The clever little display neighbors had be either admiring or ignoring was none other than Mostafa Zayed with a hole shot through his eye, in plain view. Neighbors thought it was some sort of a gorey Halloween dummy slumped over a chair that had been up there since Monday and that’s why authorities weren’t called. Well, they weren’t too far off. Coroner’s officials were called to the apartment complex at 6:42 Thursday evening and a cause of death has not been announced. I’m betting it will include the hole through his head but I’m no expert. So fellow Demonites, when you’re walking your children house to house trick or treating, you might not want to get too close to those displays, unless you’re like me. MUNCIE, Ind – A lot of questions and opinions with this story, but no real answers. 21-year-old Jacob Sexton got into an argument with Show Place theater employees over being carded to see the “R” rated ZombielandZombieland reviews. Sexton was home on leave from Afghanistan, scheduled to return next week. He had been drinking and was accompanied by his two brothers and a friend. Approximately 20 minutes into the film, Sexton asked to see his brother’s gun. Sexton then loaded the chamber and shot himself in the head. His brother said that, before Jake pulled the trigger, he pushed his friend out of the way so the friend would not get injured. WitnessesWitnesses reviews reported hearing a loud pop, then the Jacob’s companions screaming; one of them beating on a wall in anguish. A lot of people surprised with this one, with a lot of people who knew the guy coming forward stating that this was just a drunk kid who got stupid with a gun. Las Vegas, Nevada – Tom and Carla Chester were found dead in their Heritage Village mobile home on Wednesday by their 22-year-old daughter. 57-year-old Tom had been shot in the head, 51-year-old Carla had been shot and stabbed in the neck. Their Dodge Journey was missing and before long, their 18-year-old son, Timothy Chester, was named a suspect. At around 6 p.m., the mother of 18-year-old Victor Veliz called 911 informing them that her son had just admitted to killing the couple at the request of Timothy, his best friend. Timothy was apprehended on Thursday morning near the Hoover dam and now that both are in custody, the details on what happened that Wednesday afternoon, and how much worse it could have been, are chilling. MOUNT AIRY, Maryland – A family of four were found dead in their home on FridayFriday reviews. Charles L. Dalton Sr., 38, killed himself, his family and the family dog. Dalton’s wife, Jennifer A. Dalton, 37, was found dead in her bed. Their son, Charles L. Dalton Jr., 14, and their daughter, Emmaline E. Dalton, 7 were also found dead in their beds. The family pet, a beagle named MaxMax reviews, was found dead in an animal crate. All had been shot to death with the same shotgun Charles Dalton used to kill himself with. They were described as nice and religious, Dalton a self-employed carpenter and maintenance worker for Montgomery County schools.
