South Wales - Cheryl Roberts, 61 had become suspicious over her husband’s online activities.  So she set up a separate computer in their home and, posing as a 14-year-old schoolgirl, began chatting with her 69-year-old husband, David Roberts. Before long, David had propositioned the “teen” for sex and even used a webcam to show himself masturbating (cringe). Cheryl called police and The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children who later found illegal pictures of children on his computer. David admitted to charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and making and possessing illegal images. He was given a three-year community order, banned indefinitely from having access in person or online to children under the age of 18 and must register as a sex offender for five years.

Cleveland, Ohio – On Thursday, police went to the home of convicted rapist Anthony Sowell, 50, to execute an arrest and search warrant stemming from a rape and felonious assault against a woman in early October. Police did not find Sowell at home when they got there, but they did find something else interesting; the bodies of two women decomposing on the third floor of the home. On Friday, police returned and recovered four more bodies. One was found in a grave under the basement stairs, two in the crawlspace and another in a grave outside of the home. Anthony Sowell was arrested walking down the street near the home on Sunday after police received a tip that he was in the area. Sowell was convicted for a 1989 rape for which he was imprisoned from 1990 to 2005. Eighteen-year-old Melissa Taub saw Sowell on the street every day. “He was nice, but he gave me the creeps,” Taub said. She said Sowell once tried to lure her into his house, but she didn’t go. “He scared me, and I didn’t trust him. Some angel must have been watching over me because If I’d have gone into that house, one of those bodies could have been me, one of those graves could have been mine.”

The coroner who performed the autopsies on the bodies told CNN that they all appeared to have been strangled. He also added that their decomposing bodies could have been lying there for “weeks, if not months or years.” 19 Action News has learned there are two women currently missing who lived within several blocks of Anthony Sowell. Janice Webb, 49-years-old, went missing on June 3rd 2009 and Nancy Cobb went missing on April 24th 2009. If you think you may have information regarding a missing operson and the Sowell investigation, you can go to the 4th District Police Headquarters located at 9333 Kinsman Ave everyday from 7am to 7pm to talk to detectives. You are encouraged to bring a photo and biographical information of the missing person.

One woman claims she is a victim of Sowell, and lucky to be alive.  She claims Sowell asked her to “drink beer” with him and when she refused he “punched her in the face and dragged her to his house.” She fought back and was able to escape the home, however police were slow to investigate her claims because Sowell reported that she had in fact assaulted him.  Ten months later, September 22, another woman was raped and strangled inside the house on Imperial Avenue. She told police she passed out and woke up in her own urine and feces but surprisingly, Sowell let her leave. Here is some video of the first victim talking about what happened to her.

Tulsa, OK - Having spent time in prison for sex crimes against children, Johnnie Joe Hobbs had no desire to revisit the Gray Bar Hotel. As a matter of fact, when the convicted sex offender discovered his parole was about to be revoked, he got a little hot under the collar. Tulsa County sheriff’s deputies paid a visit to Johnnie Joe Thursday afternoon to serve three protective orders – tagging along were officers from the state parole board who were there to haul Johnnie Joe back to the slammer on a parole violation. Officers spotted him sitting in a cargo van parked in his cluttered yard – as they approached the vehicle, Johnnie Joe slammed the door, doused the inside of the van with gasoline and lit it up.

“There are a lot of people that will do a lot of things to keep from going back to jail,” Capt. John Bowman said. “To use a flammable liquid to ignite where they are, I have not seen that before.” And see it, they did. There were concerns that Johnnie Joe may have been armed and because of the danger imposed on rescue workers, the fire department didn’t immediately extinguish the blaze. After about 30 minutes, the fire was put out and authorities entered the van to discover Johnnie Joe’s flambéed body in the cab. No weapons were found.

Johnnie Joe Hobbs, 47, is no more. According to the DOC website, Johnnie Joe was convicted for lewd molestation of a child, showing obscene material to a child, and lewd or indecent proposals to a child. Self-immolation – get’s ‘em every time.

ORANGE COUNTY, Florida – All this started when parents found out that the mobile home park located near their kid’s bus stop housed 91 registered sex offenders. They tried to get the bus stop moved, but that effort failed. Sex offenders cannot live near schools, churches and day cares – but there is nothing that says they can’t live by a bus stop. The Orange County School District checked and state there are no ‘conditional release’ offenders living in the trailer park – meaning none are barred from living within 1,000 feet of a school. The district says if there were, they wouldn’t have the bus stop there even though the law doesn’t even address bus stops. Regardless, one woman came up with an idea. Since the RSO’s cannot live near a daycare, why not just build one near them and force them to move. Lake Shore Village Mobile Home Park. This would force the sex offenders living there to move within 24hours of the day care opening. “Hey, that’s pretty clever!” you may be thinking. But is it, really?

Barbara Farris is the woman who came up with this plan, and has been working with someone who owns multiple day cares. She is the creator of Bee Aware, a program whose aim is to teach kids how to defend against predators. “Once we get our license approved, they have 24 hours to relocate,” Farris said. She was even nice enough to create a list of other monitored communities where they could relocate, all conveniently out of her county – and into someone else’s. But it may not matter anyway as she may be a tad mis-informed. The Department of Children and Families said they can’t deny Farris a license, but the Sheriff’s Office says there is no rule that the sex offenders have to go if a daycare comes in. On top of that, the Orange County County Commission said Farris would have to jump through a lot of hoops with zoning. The County Commission added they think it’s unlikely she would get permission to put it where she is planning.

But if it does work, all 90+ RSO’s living in this one trailer park, will now be scattered throughout their community. So instead of them all being in one, concentrated place near one bus stop, they will now be scattered throughout Central Florida possibly near multiple bus stops. On top of that, not all of these RSO’s are of the predatory variety and like it or not, they have all done their time. Admittedly, I do occasionally subscribe to the “gotta break a few eggs to make an omelet” motto – I am not real comfortable making a 40-year-old man move out of his home because he may have had sex with a 15-year-old girl when he was 18.

I feel for the parents who have kids at this bus stop, but there has got to be a better way to solve this problem than this – but it seems as if Harris is just demonstrating an age-old way of thinking; If it is not my problem, then it is not a problem at all. But it is kind of telling that only in the state of Florida can a resident find it easier to have a day care moved in the vicinity of 100 sex offenders than it is to have a school bus stop removed from the vicinity of 100 sex offenders.

Los Angeles, CA – Child predators continue to trick underage girls into willingly giving them sexually explicit material that they then share with other pedophiles doing the same thing. They simply take the identity of another teen, by getting their screen name and picture, then pose as that person while initiating chats with young girls. Starting with sex chats, then later moving to the girls posing naked or performing sex acts on webcams. Pretty good setup for a pedophile, I guess. There is no shortage of them, and surely no shortage of minors willing to strip naked for a cute boy they meet over the Internet. 41-year-old Lawrence Joseph Silipigni, 41, is a married father of three and one of those men who dupes these girls. He got busted last month after a teen girl figured out who he really was. He was charged with enticing a minor to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purposes of producing child pornography. Investigators found hundreds of videos of young girls between the ages of 10 and 16 on his computer.

His participation in the pedo operation came to an end after one alleged victim, a 13-year-old California girl, first made contact with Silipigni in December 2007, believing him to be a 17-year-old boy named Jamie, who became her online boyfriend. That ended quickly when the girl found a video of herself masturbating online, an act she had performed for “Jaime” in a private chatroom. Another alleged victim, a 15-year-old Bay State girl, agreed to go to the movies with Silipigni in Worcester even after she learned his true identity. You may be wondering why she would do that. Well it may have something to do with this piece of shit allegedly threatening to notify the kids’ parents if they learned his true age and identity and did not want to comply with his requests any longer.

All of his victims’ have not been identified and the FBI would like some help. Silipigni’s screen names have included “Boston,” “Jamin,” “RJLarry” and “here4Sam.” Call local police or the FBI’s Los Angeles Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement (S.A.F.E.) Team at 310-477-6565 if you have any information regarding this case. If convicted on all counts, Silipigni faces a maximum penalty of life in prison.

PERRY COUNTY, Pa. - Eight teenagers have been charged with possessing child pornography after they were caught sexting – or for you technological lingo impaired, recording sex acts on their cell phones. Administrators at Susquenita High School caught three students with cell phones containing video and pics of other juveniles performing sex acts on each other. Currently, the law in Pennsylvania will not require these juveniles to register as sex offenders. But that may not last long as Pennsylvania is in the process adhering to federal law that would require juveniles found guilty of child pornography to register as sex offenders. If that isn’t controversial enough for people who think this is ridiculous, the law can be applied retroactively and applied to past cases. All I can say about this is THANK GOD I didn’t have a camera-enabled cell phone when I was a teen.

Orlando, FL – Seems Michael Sesic has a problem keeping his skeevy paws to himself – busted back in 2000  for raping a 4-year-old girl – Michael is once again in hot water for attempting to get naughty with a 14-year-old girl. The girl said she placed a pillow between herself and the perv and high-tailed it outta the room. She woke her mom, telling her there was a strange drunk guy in her room trying to get her shorts off. Mom’s boyfriend went in search of a knife and confronted the intruder, who was now alone in the girl’s room with his pants at his ankles. Mom’s boyfriend tussled with the perv a bit and tried to hold him there until the police arrived. Michael, ballsy little fuck that he is, tried to run and received a stabbin’ for his efforts. Unfortunately, the wound to the upper torso wasn’t life threatening, so the little shit continues to breathe in and out.

Michael Sesic, 23, has quite the history. He was arrested in 2000 after the 4-year-old girl told her mother that Michael, 13 at the time, pulled down her underwear and raped her behind a house. He was charged with rape and lewd and lascivious act on a child, but because he was a juvenile at the time, it’s unclear as to whether he was actually convicted. At the time, deputies noted on the arrest report that Michael had “a prior history of sexual offenses”. Yeah – sounds like this one was just born bad. He was arrested in 2007 for aggravated assault and petty theft, and again in 2008 on charges of attempted burglary. Now he’s facing charges of burglary to an occupied dwelling and attempted sexual assault. Bond was denied. Creepy little fucker…

Austin, TX – He kidnapped the 9-year-old girl as she walked to her school bus stop the morning of September 24th. He threatened her with a knife and forced her into his truck, threatening to cut her if she didn’t stop screaming. When he got the child back to his apartment, he tied her hands with dish rags and stuffed her in a closet. He fed her toast with jelly and some ravioli. After holding the child for most of the day, registered sex offender Charles Butcher let the child go, relatively unharmed and untouched, after she told him, “It’s time for me to go home.” At about the same time the child’s mother was calling police to report her daughter missing, Butcher was releasing the girl. It’s not every day we get a story like this one on the Dreamin’ Demon…

Officers spotted the child about 30 minutes after her mother called 911. According to police affidavits, the child told officers that she had seen Butcher pass her by that morning and return a short time later. He approached her from behind, covered her mouth, lifted her from the ground, and forced her into his truck. She tried to call for help on her cell phone, but Butcher took it and destroyed it. She was able to give a detailed description of her abductor, his vehicle, and his home. According to the arrest affidavit, detectives from the sex offender and registration unit linked Butcher to the kidnapping, but exactly how they made the connection is unclear.

Turns out, Butcher is up to old tricks. Back in ‘91, he was convicted for the aggravated sexual assault of a 9-year-old girl in Korea, where he was stationed in the military. In ‘95, he was convicted of abduction with a weapon in Ohio (Based on a translation of Ohio state law, the offense in Texas would have been solicitation of a minor). Butcher made parole in ‘04 with special conditions that he not be around children. After the ‘91 conviction, Butcher was required to register as a sex offender for life – which he has failed to do. Once this story hit the media, his neighbors started to talk. “He knew every girl’s name in this immediate area,” neighbor Don Rogers said. “He didn’t know any men, but knew every girl and every dog’s name of those girls. It was strange.” Yes Don, that is strange! Strange enough that Don is fixin’ to move now. “When it happens right in your back pocket, it’s something you’re not going to forget for a very long time, a very long time,” he said. Amy Denny occupied the apartment directly under Butcher. “I told my friends when I moved in the first month that if anything happens, check the guy upstairs because he gives me a weird vibe,” she said. Hindsight, and all that…

Authorities also believe Butcher is a peeper. Austin police said that they had received two previous reports that Butcher was peeping through neighbors’ windows – a resident reported a man looking through her windows in August, but police Lt. Mark Spangler said that may not have constituted a crime. Spangler went on to say that while Butcher may have been peeping through windows, it’s not clear whether he was doing it for sexual gratification, which is required for criminal charges under state law. Well, I’m sure he wasn’t doing it because he wanted to check out her interior design skills.

Charles Eugene Butler, 42, was arrested Friday on several traffic violations and is being held on charges of aggravated kidnapping and failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements. His bail has been set at $600,000. What do ya say you keep the skeevy bastard in there this time, eh?

On August 20, video surveillance caught Gregory entering the men’s locker room fully clothed, and leaving wearing only a towel and carrying an armful of extra towels. On that particular day, Gregory was seen going in and out of the locker room area 40 times in four hours. In July, at a different gym, Gregory was seen entering the women’s locker room at least three times. He was, again, covered in towels, with only his eyes and hairy man legs visible from the knees down. Had I been one of the women in the locker room, I wonder if I would have screamed or pointed and laughed at the retarded guy wrapped in towels? Yeah – I would’a pointed and laughed.

Though gym employees positively identified Gregory on the surveillance video as the weirdo wrapped in towels and creeping around the lady’s locker room, his family and friends seem to think the sex offender has changed his ways since being released from prison in ‘04. They think the cops have the wrong dude. Gregory Tyrrell, who is currently on parole until 2024, is back in the pokey facing charges of first-degree criminal trespass and theft of services. The theft charge stems from the fact that Gregory bought a guest pass once, using a false name, but otherwise did not pay to use the gym. Bail has been set at $5,000.

Attleboro, Massachusetts – It’s gotten to the point where I do not even raise an eyebrow when a Convicted Sex Offender fucks up, falls back into his old predatory habits and tries to stick his appendages where they don’t belong.  It happens all the time.  What isn’t common, however, is that they have new victims readily available to abuse.  Someone somewhere dropped the ball and James Ramaglia hit the sick fuck jackpot.  Even after serving prison time for child rape, Ramaglia was able to adopt a mentally challenged teen boy and was once again back to his pervy ways.

Ramaglia adopted the teen boy even after serving 4 1/2 years in prison for molesting his other two children and was currently on probation.  The now 19 year old boy, who has the mental capacity of a 12 year old, confided to his brother that their father had been molesting him since he was 16.  Reports indicate that Ramaglia performed sexual acts on the boy, forced the boy to perform acts on him and showed him male pornography.  By male, I am assuming they mean homosexual male pornography.  At some point during the abuse, Ramaglia told the boy that he was abusing him because his wife did not satisfy him.  Of course she didn’t, asshole.  If you get stiff at the thought of a teen boy, chances are a sexually mature (albeit beastly) woman is not going to make you happy.

Ramaglia’s wife, Linda, knew about the abuse and just turned her head.  Either she is also mentally delayed in some way, or this asshat had them all convinced that it was their duty to make sure he got off on a regular basis.  Anyone with half a brain would know that if he was really that hard up, a $2 crackwhore would have made it a non-issue.  Unfuckingbelieveable.

The boy’s adopted brother alerted police and Ramaglia was arrested and charged with three counts of rape, incest, indecent assault and battery on a mentally disabled person and displaying pornographic material to a minor.  Shortly after, Linda Ramaglia was arrested and charged with assault and battery upon a disabled person and allowing reckless endangerment of a child for her failure to do anything about the abuse.

Authorities are still trying to figure out how this boy came to be in the home of an RSO, but the Department of Children and Family Services is not commenting.  There is an investigation though.  The biological mother of the boy doesn’t understand either and says “I trusted these people to watch over my children and they betrayed my trust. I’m glad justice is being served. My son does not deserve this.”

Lady, when you can give me a good reason why YOU were not the one caring for him, I’ll give a fuck about what you say.  Until then, keep your trap shut and get your 15 minutes somewhere else.

Holly Township, MI – We’ve heard it said here on the Dreamin’ Demon time and time again, “The only true cure for a pedophile is death.” Well, Dennis McCarthy has been cured. The world doesn’t have to worry about the pervy fucker ever laying his filthy hands on another child – someone wasn’t pleased with the fact that McCarthy was roaming free and got all stabby on his ass, er, I mean neck. A mere week after McCarthy was released from prison, where he had just completed a one year sentence for sexually assaulting his 4-year-old grandson. Authorities seem to think that this wasn’t a random attack and that he may have known his attacker. No shit? You don’t say. I wonder what led them to that conclusion? McCarthy’s wife told officers that she heard some strange noises at about 4:00 Sunday morning and went downstairs to investigate and check the locks on the doors. At about that time, an intruder busted through the back door. When McCarthy came downstairs to see what all the ruckus was about, the intruder walked past McCarthy’s wife, right up to McCarthy, stabbed him in the neck, and left the home. Done and done. Dennis McCarthy, 64, died later that day.

Authorities describe the attacker as as a white male in his 20’s, about 5′7″.  Police say he has a stocky build and was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt. Anyone with information on the attack is urged to call the Michigan State Police. (Or not. *wink wink*)

Kansas City, KS- Zachery Ellis is listed as an RSO, but he’s also a real POS. Police arrested his worthless ass 5 a.m. Sunday for felony abuse of a 7-week old infant. A judge denied bond for Ellis stating that the defendant is a danger to the victim.  Authorities believe Ellis squeezed the child until it’s ribs broke and jerked the infant by the legs and arms, causing spiral fractures on all four limbs. The infant also sustained bruising to its lungs, spleen damage and tearing to the inside of it’s mouth. The baby was listed in stable condition Monday at Children’s Mercy after being transferred there from Heartland Regional Medical Center last Thursday night. It was an emergency room nurse in the Kansas City hospital who contacted authorities early Friday morning and indicated that the infant’s injuries were consistent with child abuse. Ellis entered a guilty plea in September 2006 to a misdemeanor charge of second-degree child molestation. In that case, Ellis allegedly had intercourse with a child under the age of 14. The court agreed at that time to enter a suspended imposition of sentence, providing that Ellis completed two years supervised probation. In May 2007, Ellis had his probation revoked and was ordered to serve a year in jail. Thanks to the detective work of Dakota Valkyrie, we believe Ellis is the sperm donor of the infant. Here’s his MySpace as well as a quote from the mother’s MySpace, “Aidden is finally here! He was born on 6-24-09 at 2:57pm. … He is such a good baby so far too. He doesn’t cry very often and when he does its only to say hey I need something, then he is done. The poor baby just got circumsized about an hour ago… I feel so bad for him, but he is being a tuff little man for me.”

Phoenix, AZ – Thursday was quite a day for Salvador Medina. At 9:00 a.m. that morning, he was released from prison after serving time for sexual abuse/dangerous crimes against children. He was given a ride to meet with his parole officer, went through the out-process, was issued a GPS ankle monitor, and was back on the streets by noon. Just hours after his release, Medina was up to his old tricks. And, shortly after midnight, back in police custody. After he departed the PO’s office, he managed to remove his ankle bracelet. At 4:00 p.m., he accosted three sisters, ages 15, 15, and 11, coming out of a department store. He watched as the girls got settled in the car – then he made his move. He allegedly forced his way into the car, threatened the 15-year-old driver with a pair of scissors, and demanded she drive out of the area. And, so she did.

When they arrived at the area of 27th and Baseline, Medina allegedly sexually assaulted both teen girls. He threatened to kill their younger sister if they didn’t co-operate. Five hours later, he ordered the driver to return him to Central and Baseline – he then let them leave. He wasn’t quite finished with his crime spree though. About 15 minutes later, Medina noticed a couple of women with a toddler getting into a car. He allegedly approached the women and demanded money. When he was refused, Medina grabbed the toddler from the back seat of the car and threatened to kill him if they didn’t hand over the cash. He got a few bucks and ran off. Right after midnight, Medina called the police. He told them someone was following him and he felt his life was in danger. Officers arrived, took in the fact that Medina matched the description of the suspect in the sexual assaults and robbery, and arrested the skeevy, no-good, bastard. Salvador Medina, 29, was booked into jail and charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, multiple counts of sexual assault, and multiple counts of kidnapping. This time, guys, how ’bout you house the fucker under the jail.

About that GPS bracelet. Why wasn’t he busted before he could kidnap, rape, and rob? According to the Arizona Dept. of Corrections: “This GPS tracking system monitor is designed to notify the parole office electronic monitoring device by e-mail if an offender has gone beyond the range of the offender’s residence between 8 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.”

Castroville, CA - According to the Megan’s Law website, John Seitcher was convicted on charges of lewd and/or lascivious acts with a child under 14, indecent exposure, and continual sexual abuse. Though the length of his prison sentence is unknown, it has been reported that Seitcher was paroled in May. Like many registered sex offenders we have written about on this site, Seitcher, 46, failed to keep his slimy paws off of the little ones. His girlfriend called 911 Friday morning to report that she had come home and found the vile bastard sexually assaulting her 10-year-old daughter. The woman grabbed her child and fled to a neighbors home to call police. Seitcher, the fucking coward, wasn’t about to go back to the pokey – he had his own punishment in mind.

Shortly after the initial 911 call, cops arrived on the scene and politely asked Seitcher to exit the home. They got no response. They tried to make contact with him by phone – that was a no-go. They pleaded with him over a PA. Nada. After nearly two hours of worthless coaxing and pleading, authorities entered the home and in the master bathroom, they found Seitcher’s lifeless body. Though neighbors reported hearing a gunshot before deputies arrived on the scene, authorities state that Seitcher did not die from a gunshot wound, but from self-inflicted stab wounds. Is it evil of me to hope that mom got a little stabby before she took off with the kid and informed the proper authorities? Deputies haven’t officially named Seitcher as the dead guy they found in the bathroom pending notification of his family, but a quick address search on the sex offender registry revealed who he was. Good riddance.

The victim and her mother were both taken to the hospital for examination. Authorities are mum on the details of the sexual assault and the child has been released to her father. I have to wonder if mom was aware of the perv’s status – if she was, what the fuck was she thinking?
