Lisa Franklin Accused Of Raping 13-Year-Old Boy She Was Tutoring

NEW WINDSOR, N.Y. – Police say 44-year-old Lisa Franklin, a substitute teacher at the Sacred Heart School,was having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old boy that started when the boy was just 12.
Franklin met the boy at Sacred Heart School and was able to continue a relationship with him, after she left the school in 2012, by befriending the boy’s parents and becoming his personal, at-home tutor as well as being allowed to spend social time with the boy.
“The parents trusted that she was acting as an adult and doing the proper thing,’” said New Windsor Deputy Police Chief Rick Hovey. After the parents found some text messages revealing Franklin was teaching their son how to put his erect penis into her 44-year-old mouth, they cock-blocked him by notifying police.
Police ended up arresting Franklin, who is married with two teenage children of her own, and charged her with second-degree rape and sexual conduct against a child. Police went to the victim’s home after a state Department of Human Services worker told them the girl had been sexually assaulted by her brother and her cousin. The girl told the DHS worker that she was in her bedroom doing homework when her brother and a 7-year-old cousin asked her to pull her pants off. Jacksonville, FL — Last year we reported on 35-year-old Dalina Nicholas, the woman accused of repeatedly pimping her six-year-old daughter out to homeless men in exchange for cash and crack. The other day she pleaded guilty to four counts of child neglect.
For those of you who missed the original story, police were flagged down by a homeless man who reported witnessing Nicholas’ daughter being sexually assaulted while he was in her home doing drugs. Irving, TX — Two Texas women are suing after a state trooper subjected them to a roadside body cavity search that was captured on video. On top of that, the case is being investigated by the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office’s public integrity division and will go before a grand jury in January.
Angel Dobbs, 38, and her niece, Ashley Dobbs, 24, were driving down State Highway 161 one night last July when they were pulled over by state trooper David Farrell. The trooper told them he had seen someone in the car throwing out cigarette butts and then asked to search their vehicle for drugs because they were “acting weird.”
When his search failed to yield any illegal substances, he enlisted the help of female trooper Kellie Helleson to assist in a cavity search of both women. So on the side of the road, in front of a camera and passing motorists, Helleson probed both women’s anus and vagina while using the same latex glove.

Culver City, CA – Last week we reported on Kerry Trotter, the 20-year-old accused of raping an 18-year-old mentally disabled woman on a Los Angeles County transit bus. MODESTO, CA – The day after a registered sex offender was released from prison, he was arrested for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl on a public bus.
Police say that 37-year-old Kevin Michael Long has spent his life in and out of the system, starting when he was only 12 years old. He has past convictions for assault with intent to commit rape, burglary, drug violations and making terrorizing threats. He just spent over seven years in jail before being paroled on Sept 17.
His family says they were told a month before his parole that he would be sent to a state hospital upon release. But instead of getting treatment, the got a call on the day of his release, instructing them to come pick him up. His family said “eff that.”
This was due, in part, to letters they had received from Long while he was incarcerated in which he admits to being sexually attracted to children, and claiming that he was the Lord.
“I have three teenagers I have a 14-year-old daughter, and 15 and 16-year-old boys. It specifically says in here that those are the kind of people he is interested in,” said one family member who refused to pick Long up upon his release.…

SPARTANBURG, S.C. — An 81-year-old man was arrested after police say he sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl as she walked home from school.
The child’s grandmother told police that the girl was walking home from school when James Holmes grabbed her, hugged her, touched her breast and put his tongue in her mouth.
Police arrested Holmes and charged him with assault and battery. He was later released on a $20,000 bond. In his defense, Holmes says he is sorry and the entire incident was just an err in judgement.
“I just hugged her the wrong way,” he told News 4’s Gabrielle Komorowski. “I apologize. I’m sorry it ever happened. I knew better. It’s not anything that I’m proud of.”
The girl’s grandmother says her granddaughter has seen Holmes sitting on his porch before, but that she did not know him. She says she went public with the story in hopes of protecting other children.

Montgomery County, LA – Police in Louisiana have arrested 49-year-old Duane Parker after he allegedly sent sexual messages to more than a dozen preteens on Facebook, including a video of him masturbating while saying what he would like to do to a seventh-grade girl.
Parker got busted after an investigation into his online activities that started when the mother of one of the girls he contacted authorities after seeing messages from an unfamiliar name on her daughter’s Facebook page. The girl told her mother that she only accepted his friend request due to how many mutual friends that had in common.
His modus operandi seemed to be friending a young girl on Facebook, along with any of her friends, then begin innocently messaging them before bringing out the big guns. “He’ll chat with them for a while but then after befriending them he’ll start sending pornographic videos to them, whether it was video or still images,” said Captain Mark Seals.
By time investigators got involved, Parker had deleted his Facebook account and created a new one. Law enforcement discovered his new Facebook account and seen Parker had attempted to contact several more young girls.…

WEST ORANGE, NJ – Police have charged a former Essex County Teacher of the Year with sexual assault after they say she had an ongoing sexual relationship with one of her 15-year-old students.
On August 31, 33-year-old Erica DePalo was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated sexual assault, second-degree sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child. Police say she was having sex with a 15-year-old male student she taught in her honors English class at West Orange High School.
Prosecutors say the sexual relationship began in June and lasted until sometime in August. DePalo, who is also the school’s junior varsity tennis coach, is currently free on $100,000 bail. Depalo was in court yesterday where she pleaded not guilty to all of the charges against her. She is scheduled to be back in court on October 22.
DePalo was suspended as a teacher at West Orange High School, where she taught English and Honors English since 2003. CARROLLTON, TX - Police in Texas believe a man murdered a 16-year-old girl to keep her from testifying that he had raped her.
On Saturday, Shania Gray’s body was found in a secluded area near the Trinity River. She had been missing since Thursday after last being seen at Hebron High School in Carrollton. When trying to figure out who would want the teen dead, police wouldn’t have to look far.
Gray was set to testify against 30-year-old Franklin “Wish” Davis, a man for whom she used to babysit, and a man she had accused of raping her. Gray’s family stated that after asking the teen why she refused to babysit Davis’ two children any longer, Gray confided that he had raped her. They went to police and in July 2011 ,Davis was charged with four counts of sexual assault of a child.
But Davis says he is innocent and set out to prove the teen was lying. He created a fake Facebook profile, pretending to be a teenage boy who had a crush on Gray, that he used to gain Gray’s trust and find out what she planned to say in court. Mount Clemens, MI – A 29-year-old man has admitted to getting his girlfriend’s 11-year-old daughter pregnant.
On Tuesday, Trevaun C. Brooks pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. Because the victim was under the age of 13, Brooks is facing a mandatory minimum term of 25 years in prison, up to life, when he is sentenced on Sept. 27.
Prosecutors say Brooks had sex with the child in her bedroom last year while living with his girlfriend and her daughter. The victim, now 12, gave birth in August and medical tests proved that the child was his. The girl told investigators she didn’t even know she was pregnant until she gave birth.
After giving birth, the victim and her baby were removed from her mother’s home and placed in the care of state protection services. However, they are both expected to be placed back with the girl’s mother at a later date.
Brooks was a fugitive for almost a month after tests proved he had sex with the 11-year-old, but he was arrested in September after police found him living with another girlfriend.…

Rye Brook, NY — A woman in New York has been accused of breaking into the home of a woman she claims her husband has been having an affair with and then sexually assaulting the alleged mistress in front of the victim’s young child.
Police say 40-year-old Giovana Osorio arrived at the vicim’s home at around 3:30 a.m. Saturday and tried to break in through a kitchen window. Being too short to climb through, she opted to use a key she had for the front door. Her husband did contract worked on the home and Osorio copied the key he used to get inside. CLAYTON, MO – If only all criminals were as stupid as Mr. Donald Ingerson. The 67-year-old, long-time St. Louis teacher has been charged with rape and statutory sodomy after he confessed to sexually assaulting two girls, believing that the statute of limitations had expired on the crimes.
Ingerson worked in five or six districts in Missouri County between 1960 and 1990. He called the St Louis County Prosecutors office on June 4 to inform them he had sexually assaulted two high school girls, aged around 15 years old. One of these occurrence happened in 1974, the other in 1995.

WOODSTOCK, Ill.— I completely missed this story when it was first being reported, but it seems as if John Wayne Gacy’s nephew, 49-year-old Raymond Kasper, is currently on trial after being charged with sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl on multiple occasions.
Kasper was charged with predatory criminal sexual assault and aggravated criminal sexual abuse against a girl under the age of 13. The girl is the daughter of a woman Kasper has dated for years who, according to the prosecution, was sexually assaulted by Kasper multiple times between June and October of last year. During the opening statements, Assistant State’s Attorney Matthew Ciesielski told the jury about one occasion in which Kasper’s “fat, sausage like fingers” touched the girl in a sexual manner while rubbing lotion on her body after she was bitten by mosquitoes.
But Kasper’s defense attorney, Michael Barrett,says that the accusations are from a young girl who was upset with Kasper for cheating on her mother. The victim’s mother has also said that she has doubts about her daughter’s allegations, saying she thinks her daughter was trying to protect her.…
