Tacoma, Washington – Officials with the Pierce County Sheriff’s office and Tacoma and Lakewood Police say that on three separate cases, fast food managers were pulled over by a vehicle with red and blue flashing lights shortly after closing and leaving their restaurants. The two men would approach the car wearing bandanas over their faces, showed guns and then handcuffed the victims. One of the men would take the manager back to the restaurant and force the victim to unlock the doors, open the safe and give them cash. The second suspect then picks up the first. On Oct. 5, 2009, the McDonald’s on Steilacoom Boulevard in Lakewood. Oct. 23, 2009, 3:15 a.m. the Wendy’s on Hosmer Street in Tacoma and on Oct. 25, 2009, the Burger King on Mountain Highway in Graham. But on Sunday, these two changed their game. The robbers stopped the manager of a Lakewood Wendy’s, but she did not have a key to the restaurant. So the pair improvised. Cleveland, Ohio – On Thursday, police went to the home of convicted rapist Anthony Sowell, 50, to execute an arrest and search warrant stemming from a rape and felonious assault against a woman in early OctoberOctober reviews. Police did not find Sowell at home when they got there, but they did find something else interesting; the bodies of two women decomposing on the third floor of the home. On Friday, police returned and recovered four more bodies. One was found in a grave under the basement stairs, two in the crawlspace and another in a grave outside of the home. Anthony Sowell was arrested walking down the street near the home on Sunday after police received a tip that he was in the area. Sowell was convicted for a 1989 rape for which he was imprisoned from 1990 to 2005. Eighteen-year-old Melissa Taub saw Sowell on the street every day. “He was nice, but he gave me the creeps,” Taub said. She said Sowell once tried to lure her into his house, but she didn’t go. “He scared me, and I didn’t trust him. Some angel must have been watching over me because If I’d have gone into that house, one of those bodies could have been me, one of those graves could have been mine.” [Read more...]

Detroit – A man has been charged with raping his grandmother on multiple occasions. After a grandmother takes some of her prescribed medication, she often gets groggy and dozes off. On one occasion, she awoke and witnessed her step-grandson, 19-year-old Lee Aaron Moorer pulling up his pants. Allegedly, he later sent text messages to his grandmother asking her not to tell anyone or he would do the right thing and kill himself. The grandmother has no sympathy for him at all. “I want everybody to know he’s a rapist, and he’s done it to me more than once.“  She’sShe reviews pretty pissed that this is the thanks she gets for letting him and his mother come live with her. Richmond, California The homecoming dance took a horrible turn for a 15-year-old girl just prior to midnight FridayFriday reviews evening. When police drove up to Richmond High School about an hour after the dance had ended, they observed several young men fleeing the scene. Upon investigation, they found their 15-year-old victim unconscious and suffering from “different injuries indicating she had been assaulted.” The “assault” is believed to have been a gang rape that lasted for 2 hours. And if that isn’t bad enough, police say there is a high probability of there being video of the assault shot from cell phones. After obtaining a warrant to search Daily’s home, investigators seized his computer and other media storage devices and discovered the 15-year-old girl wasn’t his only victim. Forensic investigators reportedly found numerous photographs of a 14-year-old girl engaged in sex acts with Daily, as well as with several different adults. McALLEN – This is a two part story each part containing equal amounts of vomit-inducing material. First, back in May Edwin Auner Morales tried raping a 13-year-old girl who was babysitting his kids. The girl fought back and was able to get away and report him. Morales admitted what he had done, including that he was aware of her age when he attempted to rape her. Morales was charged with charged with attempted aggravated sexual assault, a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison and a possible fine of $10,000. That’s the first part of this story. The second part is that on Sept 22nd, Judge Rudy Delgado ruled Morales receive a deferred sentence and will not serve any jail time if he does not run into criminal problems again during a probationary period. This news is everywhere but I’m posting it anyway because it is turning out to be an interesting subject – especially when looking at the reactions from across the globe. As most know by now, Roman Polanski was arrested in Switzerland on the way to a Zurich film festival. The arrest comes from charges that he raped a 13-year-old girl in the home of Jack Nicholson back in 1977. He was charged with giving Quaaludes to a minor; child molestation; unlawful sexual intercourse with that minor; rape by use of drugs; oral copulation; sodomy. All charges were dismissed under a plea deal but he pleaded guilty to unlawful sex with a minor. There are more than enough info out there about his sentencing and all, but to keep things brief, Polanski didn’t like where things were going (meaning he would have to go to prison) and he fled the country and has never stepped foot in the United States since. LARIMER COUNTY – A little over a week ago, two sisters-in-law were out on a hike along Signal Mountain Trail near the Comanche Peak Wilderness Area. As they were walking, A man wearing gray camouflage clothing and a face mask jumped out of the woods attacked them at knifepoint. “An assailant surprised them – jumped out from behind some trees and put a knife to one of the victim’s throats,” Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden said at a news conference on Monday. “It was obvious from the statements that he made as well as from his actions that he intended on committing a sexual assault.” One of the women used her walking stick strike her friend’s attacker. When he turned on her, the other woman attacked him. The man then ran off. Roadblocks were set up and police began searching for the assailant reporting they had a person of interest that night. UNIONDALE, New York – An 18-year-old Hofstra University student was forcibly gang-raped by five men while on campus. The girl had her cell phone snatched by a man she was dancing with at an on-campus spot, Hofstra USA. When she followed after him, she was forced into a men’s room stall, tied up and gang raped by five men. Out of the five men accused of raping the woman, four have been arrested. Kevin R. Taveras, 20; Stalin Felipe, 19; Jesus L. Ortiz, 19; and Rondell Bedward, 21 have all been charged with 1st-degree rape.
