Elizabeth Olten Found Dead In Woods; Older Juvenile In Custody
October 22, 2009 at 1:28 pm by MorbidST. MARTINS, Missouri – Here we go, another little girl has vanished while walking home. Maybe this will end differently than the Somer Thompson disappearance. At 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, 9-year-old Elizabeth Olten was walking the quarter mile home from a friend’s house in the 600 block of Route D south of St. Martins. She never arrived at her home. The Cole County Sheriff’s Department has issued an Endangered Person Advisory. Olten is a white, 9-year-old female. She is 5′ 2″ and 108 lbs. with brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion with physical marks. She was last seen wearing a pink scarf, pink shirt and pink sweater and blue jeans with white sneakers. She was also carrying a cell phone. The sheriff’s department contacted the cell phone provider, AT&T, who “pinged” the cell phone to triangulate its location. AT&T put the cell phone’s location deep in the woods near Elizabeth’s home. The girl’s family members said she is afraid of the woods and the dark.…
Continue ReadingCartwright, Oklahoma – Not a lot of details on this but enough to raise some questions. 11-year-old Dakota Cheyenne Hughes was spending the weekend at her Aunt’s house who lives next door. Reports state that she was up late watching movies with 34-year-old Jason Lee Belew — an acquaintance of one of Dakota’s relatives and a man she had known for about a month. At around 4 a.m. the Aunt woke up and found Dakota dead in a back bedroom and Jason was nowhere to be found. Authorities arrested Belew on a criminal mischief warrant on Sunday then officially charged with 1st degree murder.…
Continue ReadingHuron Township – This is one of the most horrifyingly callous stories I have written about in a while. I have read through about 15 different articles and got sicker the entire time. Sharon Hinojosa, 29, lived in a mobile home with her boyfriend Justin Whisler. Early Friday morning, the mobile home caught fire. Hinojosa was able to escape the blaze with the 1-year-old she shared with Whisler. Sadly, her two other children she had with another man, 4-year-old Anthony, and 3-year-old Alayna, perished in the flames — despite attempts by neighbors to rescue them. Now police have charged Hinojosa with setting the fire and purposely leaving her two children to burn alive. It is a heinous accusation and now that some details have come to light, coupled with the fact that she is now in the hospital after drinking rubbing alcohol, seem to have a lot of merit…
Continue ReadingBoston, MA – Officials have not released many details in this story, but the ones that are out there only lead to more questions. Back on September 24th, just a month after turning 100 years old, Elizabeth Barrow was found dead in her bed at the nursing home she had lived in for the past 4 years. Sounds about right, huh? Well, not really. She was found with a plastic bag over head and even though there were no signs of a struggle, her death was ruled a homicide by manual strangulation. Her son says that Barrows was healthy and vibrant despite her age. The family had taken her out to lunch and shopping just the day before her body was found. Barrow had a female roommate who was in her 90s, but there is no word on any witness statements. Considering the son is not blaming the facility, singing it’s praises even, and everyone is remaining tight lipped I am wondering if officials are keeping quiet because they in fact do have a suspect in mind. Whatever the case, I am anxious to hear how this turns out. It must suck to live that long only to be denied a peaceful death in your sleep.…
Continue ReadingMONT VERNON, New Hampshire – Residents of the small, hilly town of Mont Vernon are in a state of shock after four teens entered a home to rob it, and attacked a 41-year-old mother and her 11-year-old daughter. Using a machete and a knife, Kimberly Cates was attacked while she lay in her bed and killed by multiple sharp injuries to the head, torso, left arm, and left leg. Her daughter survived the attack although she suffered severe stabbing injuries and spent hours in surgery. The attack was a completely random one, Cate’s home chosen simply because it was isolated. “They picked the house at random because it was in an isolated area,” prosecutor N. William Delker said today during the teens’ arraignments in Milford District Court. “Before they entered the home, all four defendants were aware that the intent was to kill the occupants.”…

October 8, 2009 at 2:04 am by thinkgoatAshland, Illinois is a sleepy little town of 1300 people smack dab in the middle of corn and bean fields; you know, Settlement Americana, Littletown, USA? The kind of place where the major events were the weekly livestock auctions, which proved to be exciting only when the occasional cow would cut loose and bolt down the street followed by a bunch of young boys and girls donning spurs on their cowboy boots making one hell of a racket as I was sleeping off the night before. The kind of town you’ve all heard about, full of those willing to lend a helping hand, give you a polite smile as you walk by. I know it well. I lived in the only funeral home it had.…
Continue ReadingOVERLAND PARK, Kansas – I was going to put this up today if she had not been found yet, but looks like I will be putting it up for the opposite reason. Police said they have recovered Keighly Alyea’s body but gave no other details aside from having three men in custody in connection with her death. Alyea, 18, was last seen with her vehicle last Tuesday. Original reports at that time stated she may have been with Jaymes Dean Beebe, 22, and Dustin Brian Hilt, 18. On Sunday, her 1993 green Mazda 626 was located parked unoccupied on the street in the 6200 block of Marty. A third man, Sean Merritt, was questioned. On Monday night police searched two homes, one of them belongs to the relatives of one of the men originally questioned. No other info is being released at this point. The suspects in custody have not been officially named, nor where Alyea’s body was located.…

At around 6 p.m., the mother of 18-year-old Victor Veliz called 911 informing them that her son had just admitted to killing the couple at the request of Timothy, his best friend. Timothy was apprehended on Thursday morning near the Hoover dam and now that both are in custody, the details on what happened that Wednesday afternoon, and how much worse it could have been, are chilling. …
Continue ReadingPanama City Beach, FL – As if small children aren’t enough of a black hole of need, nature comes along and plays another cruel joke on the able-bodied by saddling them with the elderly. One day you are thanking your lucky stars that your babies are finally able to use the toilet without assistance and next thing you know, you are having to invest in adult diapers for your parents. Life seems so unfair sometimes. It’s a good thing that most of us love our families enough to gladly put up with this inconvenience. After all, they took care of us and allowed us to live when we were screaming toddlers and snotty teens, the least we could do is return the favor. Or at the very least hire someone to return the favor for us – someone like Geraldine Shockley, a caretaker hired by 94 year-old Bessie Borth and her family. Oh wait, Shockley wasn’t a great caretaker. Actually, she was a pretty shitty one. Borth was found dead, and it wasn’t from natural causes.…
Continue ReadingMOUNT AIRY, Maryland – A family of four were found dead in their home on Friday. Charles L. Dalton Sr., 38, killed himself, his family and the family dog. Dalton’s wife, Jennifer A. Dalton, 37, was found dead in her bed. Their son, Charles L. Dalton Jr., 14, and their daughter, Emmaline E. Dalton, 7 were also found dead in their beds. The family pet, a beagle named Max, was found dead in an animal crate. All had been shot to death with the same shotgun Charles Dalton used to kill himself with. They were described as nice and religious, Dalton a self-employed carpenter and maintenance worker for Montgomery County schools. Financial difficulties seem to be part of the reason behind Charles’s actions – it’s being reported that the family was having problems selling their house.…

But since they have not arrested anyone and are still asking for tips, what the hell. Raymond “Rick” Gee, 46, his wife, Ruth Gee, 39, and three of their children, Justina Constant, 16, Dillen Constant, 14, and Austin Gee, 11, were found dead Monday afternoon in their home. 3-year-old Tabitha Gee, remains in critical but stable condition at a Peoria hospital. Coroner reports state that they were all beaten to death. Police are interested in a primer/gray Chevrolet S-10 or Ford Ranger-type of pickup that was seen in the area. Continue ReadingKermit, West Virginia “Unusual to see a refrigerator laying flat in the bed of a truck. You have to stand them up if you want to use them later, and that’s the only thing that caught all of our eyes,” states a co-worker – a guard at a coal company where Roger Stroud worked. They state Roger signed in at the guardhouse and then 31 minutes he split. Perhaps he was just stupid and didn’t know to stand that fridge upright. Perhaps he had purchased his lovely wife a new home and was moving things in to surprise her at suppertime. This may have all made sense had she not wanted a divorce and had he not used that cumbersome appliance as a means to hide her body.…
Continue ReadingDallas, TX – Most of us have been through it. The end of a serious relationship or marriage. You know, things didn’t work out and its time to cut your losses and split. Some of us don’t part ways on good terms. You know how it can be, your every waking minute is consumed with thoughts of revenge, plotting and scheming on how you can make them pay. Wondering which cables belong to the brakes and exactly how much damage a brick to the back of the skull will actually cause. Pondering exactly how tamper proof those pesky tamper proof seals are, and googling their drive from home to work every day. You’ll show him that you don’t take these things lightly. Besides, his taste in music and movies suck and he was lucky you ever gave him the time of day… Wait, what was I talking about? Oh yeah, bad break-ups and thoughts of revenge. Point is, we never do it. As much as we want them to hurt, we once loved them and those pesky good memories always get in the way.…

While most people strive to be wealthy, attractive, educated, and successful, and very few achieve it, Bejjani was all that and more. She seemed to be living the dream life. Just having been hired as a VP at a US based property investment firm, she moved from Dubai into a condo in a luxury hotel near Central Park a year ago. Unfortunately, having it all got Bejjani some unwanted attention and her dream life ended in a nightmare. Derrick Praileau, using a maid’s key card, walked into her luxury condo early Saturday morning and viciously murdered her.…

September 21, 2009 at 12:40 am by MorbidGWINNETT COUNTY, Georgia – I was going to come up with a fucked up title for this one, but WSBTV had this one already and well, it just seemed fucked up enough. Police are stating Christina Tetteh, 41, called 911 and told them that she thought her 4-year-old daughter was deceased. When police arrived at the home around 1 a.m., they found the little girl crying in a nearby kudzu patch. According to police, Tetteh took her daughter out to the Kudzu patch and then attempted to suffocate her. Christina Tetteh has been charged with one count of Criminal Attempt to Commit Murder and was transported to the Gwinnett County Detention Center where she is being held without bond. Can you imagine that shit? Being that 4-year-old girl? That must have been terrifying as hell. The visual of a mother suffocating her child is creepy enough – add in the fact that it happened late at night and in a kudzu patch just makes it even creepier. Video after the jump.…
Continue ReadingNaples, Florida – While performing a welfare check on Saturday, detectives found the murdered bodies of Guerline Damas, 32, and her children Michzach, 9, Marven, 6, Maven, 5, Megan, 3 and Morgan, who would have been a year old next week. The one person not located was Mesac Dumas, 33. He is now a person of interest in the murder of his wife and five children. Investigators located his car at the Miami International airprt and believe he is now in Haiti, where he has family. It is being reported that Mesac Damas was charged with domestic battery charges back in January. You can read the report here. (warning – it’s a PDF) The problem police face now is that the Haiti government will not extradite Damas unless it is proven, without a doubt, that Damas committed the crime. Something that has not been done yet. Pics and video after the jump. …
Continue ReadingNorth Vernon, Indiana Just yesterday I opined about people getting off on insanity pleas. It seems so easy to exclaim, “the voices in my head made me do it” and for some whacked out defense attorney and a complacent judicial system, it’s easy to see why these idiots end up in an asylum instead of behind bars. The need to try to rehabilitate some of these evil fucks is beyond me. You can fix a lot of things in this world but stupid is not one of them. Hell, they tried with lobotomies. Didn’t work. It just made the condition worse and a whole lot messier with all the drooling. Now they do the same thing with medications. It doesn’t make the voices go away, just shuts them the fuck up for a while. Until next time they tell you to kill…just like the voices in Ryan Renfroe’s head.…
Continue ReadingTAMPA, FL - Got a couple of geniuses for you in a story from out of Florida. Amer Ejak, 16, and Christopher Cox, 22, were inside the apartment of 34-year-old Thomas Johannesen’s apartment on Thursday or Friday. Cox instructed Ejak to hit Johannesen over the head with a whiskey bottle, which he did. Johannesen fell to the floor and then moved to the couch by the two men. Ejak then put a plastic bag over Johannesen’s head and tied a belt around his neck. After murdering Johannesen, they moved his body into a closet. When they left, they took Johannesen’s cell phone, sneakers, and house keys. These two idiots couldn’t contain themselves and a short time later started asking people if they had ever seen a dead body before. They brought two people to the apartment and showed them Johannesen’s corpse. One of those people told a third person, who then called the cops.…
Continue ReadingNew Haven, Conn - I know the news has been all over this one already, but there are two reasons why I am posting this. Obviously, the first being that they have found the body of 24-year-old Annie Le. She was the Yale student who went missing after entering a Yale University laboratory on Tuesday morning. She was never seen leaving the building and now it is known why. Her body was found stuffed behind a wall in the basement of the building. “She hasn’t been positively identified, however, we are assuming that it is her at this time so we are treating it as a homicide investigation,” Reichard said. This comes after investigators found bloody clothing hidden in the ceiling tiles.…
Continue ReadingSumter, SC – Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th President of the U.S., and the first American to win the Nobel Peace Prize. Rumor has it the ‘teddy bear’ was named after him, and he had a guinea pig named Father O’Grady and a snake named Emily Spinach. Really. Where the fuck was I going with this? Oh, yeah. Teddy once said: “Walk softly, but carry a big stick.” Perhaps 31 year old Carlos Lincoln was thinking about that sage advice when, during an argument on September 5th, he picked up a piece of wood to beat the shit out of 21 year old Reginald Gass. Perhaps that is when Gass recalled his favorite Teddy Roosevelt quote, “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are”, when he plunged a potato rake into Carlos’ chest. Ouch. Did anyone else accidentally read “potato cake” at first and giggle? …
