Sheila Tegtmeier Was Mad Then Sad

January 25, 2008 at 10:55 am by

It’s gonna be a slow news day today, as Imp and I have other, less interesting things to take care of that cannot be held off any longer. But I do have a few stories to post for you sickos. Starting with this one.

Sheila Tegtmeier Was Mad Then Sad

ANKENY, Iowa – This actually happened earlier this month. Sheila Tegtmeier was found dead in her kitchen, a victim of strangulation. The only one home was her 20-year-old autistic son, Roy Jr., who also had ligature marks on his neck. While neighbors waited for a police response on the capture of the person who did this act, they would only respond that this case “was complicated“. They weren’t kidding. The investigatio has concluded and it turns out that Tegtmeier tried to strangle her autistic son, and when that proved unsuccessful, she strangled herself.…

Alisa Evans Is Down Two Kids, One To Go

Waco, TX and Milwaukee, WI – This story is sad and messed up on a number of levels, and many of you know I don’t say that lightly. So hang on to your chairs and get some Kleenex, because this one’s just like that.

Last Friday, Alisa Lorraine Evans, 38, put her two-week old fraternal twins, Josiah and David Smith, into a bathtub in her mother’s Milwaukee home. Then she waited for the babies to stop struggling.

Evans’ mother, Joyce Smith, told police that she came home from errands on Friday and found the twin babies on a bathroom floor. Alisa Evans was sitting on the edge of the tub and just “raised her arms as if she was in distress”. The grandmother took the babies to the next room and called 911. Baby David was pronounced dead at a Milwaukee hospital on Friday. As of this writing, Josiah is still alive.…

January 21, 2008 at 9:15 am by

11/18/08 UPDATE – Today, Kristina Fuelling pleaded guilty to child cruelty and the attempted murder of her newborn daughter Faith.  However, a Placer County judge found that Fuelling was not guilty of Faith’s drowning murder by reason of mental disease or defect -  specifically, post partum depression.  The charges to which Fuelling pleaded guilty stem from an incident three days prior to Faith’s death when Kristina Fuelling tried to smother her baby. Fuelling faces between six and fifteen years in prison for the attempted murder and child cruelty charges.  She will be sentenced in January.

Banita Jacks Needs Air Freshener, 4 Kids Dead

January 9, 2008 at 4:54 pm by

Washington, DC – Whoa. U.S. Marshals that were “serving an eviction notice” in a southeast DC apartment building January 9 smelled something really, really rank.  When they investigated the smell, they did not find mice in the air ducts or someone’s lost guinea pig. What they did find was pretty heinous, even for Washington.

The decomposing corpses of four young girls were found in the apartment, where their mother, Banita Jacks, 33, had been living.   With the dead bodies of her daughters,  5-year-old Aja Fogle, 6-year-old N’Kiah Fogle, 11-year-old Britney Jacks and 17-year-old Tatianna Jacks.    For weeks, possibly months.…

Wow. So this is how short our entries were when we first started? Anyway, a seemingly final footnote to one of our very first stories (Thanks for commenting…all two of you) back in October. As you already know, Kraft was accused of tossing her kid off a balcony with every attempt to kill him. The baby lived, Kraft went to jail and has been sitting there ever since waiting on a trial.

On Tuesday, she was found to be unresponsive in her cell while her cellmate was trying to help. Lt. Craig Wilson says drugs were found in the cell the Kraft shared with another female inmate.…
