Julia Murray, 21, called 911 Tuesday morning and told the dispatcher matter-of-factly that she had just drowned her two kids and needed an ambulance. The 911 operator tried to Murray on the phone but after a short pause in the conversation, Murray informed the operator that she had just shot herself. When emergency crews arrived at the home of Murray’s parents where she and her children lived, they found her unconscious. She had a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest and a handgun nearby. In a back bedroom they discovered her two children, 2-year-old Creighton and 4-year-old Ansli, drenched and lying on a bed. Ansli was dead, but Creighton was still breathing. Murray died shortly after being transported to the hospital while Creighton was last listed in stable condition. Murray lived with her mother, who had custody of Murray’s children, and a sister. FRUITLAND PARK, Fla. – Russell Dorner, 80, called 911 and immediately informed the dispatcher “I’m just letting you know that me and my wife are gonna commit suicide right now. We’ve had all we can take anymore,” he says. He goes on to explain that he and his 79-year-old wife, Laura Dorner, had health problems . “She’sShe reviews bed-ridden and can’t do (anything), and my back went out today. I can’t pick her up. SHIRLEY, Mass — Robert Gulla and Allison Myrick, both 19-years-old, began dating in SeptemberSeptember reviews but Myrick broke off the relationship in December. Myrick received an emergency restraining order against Gulla shortly afterward that would last for 24 hours. Myrick filed for another restraining order against Gulla last Tuesday that would remain in effect until Feb. 2. Myrick had to get help from Fitchburg State College campus police at least twice because of Gulla’s harassment. On Saturday, Myrick went to the home of Gulla’s mother where he lived in the basement. Gulla’s mother told police she heard them arguing and left. When she returned several hours later, she would find Myrick stabbed to death and her son suffering from knife and gunshot wounds. PORTERVILLE, CA – Firefighters pulled three children, ages 6, 5 and 2,  out of a third floor apartment this weekend as smoke came “pouring out” of the door from food that had been left on the stove. You might be asking yourself “Where are the damn parents?”- They were lying on the floor of the apartment, dead from gunshot wounds to the head. Details are vague as to what exactly happened, but police have ruled the incident a “murder-suicide”; Michael Vasquez, 26, apparently shot his wife and mother of his children, Cheanna Sidhu, 24, directly in the head after an argument. The couple had just recently moved into the Porterville Family Apartments with their three children; officials at the apartment complex declined to be interviewed but neighbors claim that despite one incident of yelling, the couple was rarely heard fighting. YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – An officer was on a routine patrol in the Forest Lawn Cemetery when he came across the body of Jamie Serich, 17, dead from a single gunshot wound to the head. Beside him was Colin Hart, 18, also dead from a single gunshot wound to the head and still clutching a handgun. “At this point, anything we get like this we’re gonna treat it as some type of homicide until we’re proven otherwise,” said Lt. Don Hawkins, who also added, “The bodies were found as if both were seated right next to each other, probably 3 to 5 feet apart, facing the same direction.” The bodies were found shortly after Serich’s parents reported him missing and told police they were afraid because of his mental state. Madison, Wisconsin - Donte Beasley, 38, was arguing with his girlfriend, Zenolia Rice, because he wanted sex and she did not feel like honoring his request. Drunk, Beasley pulled out a gun and shot Rice multiple times. The woman called for their young children to come help her and when they did, Beasley shot them too. He shot his 8-year-old daughter in the back of the skull as she was tending to her mother and then shot his 7-year-old son in the face. Rice was able to flee the home and get to a neighbor for help. Surprisingly, all three shooting victims are in stable condition and are expected to survive. Beasely will be charged with three counts of attempted first degree intentional homicide once he is released from the hospital where he is being treated for a self-inflicted knife wound. Addison, Illinois – On Wednesday morning, 911 received a call from a woman who was asking for help. “It was just a few short words. It was something to the effect of, ‘Please help me. Help me, help me,’ ” Addison Police Chief Tim Hayden. Dispatchers could hear gunshots in the background. When police forced their way into the home, they found Elizabeth Mangiantin, 48, dead downstairs in a hallway and her husband and two sons dead upstairs. Turns out Thomas Mangiantini, 48, shot himself in the head after shooting his wife, ElizabethElizabeth reviews, 46, once in the head his son Thomas Jr., 8, once in the head, and hos other son, Angelo, 12, multiple times in the head. FLEMING ISLAND, Florida - When Dana Whitelaw, 47, got out of the shower Tuesday morning, she found her entire family dead. Her husband, Jerry Whitelaw, 49, had shot their two children — 16-year-old son, Kevin, and 11-year-old daughter, Katy — while they slept. He then turned the gun on himself. Court records show that Dana had filed for divorce in late AugustAugust reviews after 16 years of marriage, but continued to live together during the process. Police have no records of ever having to go to their residence in the past. Kevin was a junior at St. Johns Country Day in Orange Par, Katie attended Grace Episcopal. I think what makes this particular murder-suicide is the blatant purpose behind it. Jerry wanted Dana to live after this, knowing it was the best possible way to hurt her. I can not possibly imagine anything my wife could do to me that could have me killing my own kids to get back at her. Lakeland, Florida A little after 3 pm on Monday, firefighters responded to a car fire on the Sunshine Skyway Bridge in Tampa, Florida. They had no way of knowing that they were about to drive up on an arson, a homicide, and a suicide. Court records show that Robert Laird and his wife, Sheryl, were divorced and she was granted an injunction keeping him from having contact with her. All who had contact with Sheryl describe her as being a positive woman despite the past marital problems and despite having to share her daughter with the man she feared. None of that matters now. Robert drove to the top of that bridge, doused the car with gasoline and turned it into a torch with his dead wife in the trunk, and lept from the bridge as the firefighters worked to extinguish the flames. MOUNT AIRY, Maryland – A family of four were found dead in their home on FridayFriday reviews. Charles L. Dalton Sr., 38, killed himself, his family and the family dog. Dalton’s wife, Jennifer A. Dalton, 37, was found dead in her bed. Their son, Charles L. Dalton Jr., 14, and their daughter, Emmaline E. Dalton, 7 were also found dead in their beds. The family pet, a beagle named MaxMax reviews, was found dead in an animal crate. All had been shot to death with the same shotgun Charles Dalton used to kill himself with. They were described as nice and religious, Dalton a self-employed carpenter and maintenance worker for Montgomery County schools. Cheyenne, WY – Southeast Wyoming is hell. It’s a gray, desolate, nightmarish wasteland full of howling wind and the ugliest, most desperate shrubbery in the world. When the wind isn’t sucking all rational thought from your skull like a passenger jet with the windows blown out, I’m almost certain that it actually rains road kill. It’s the least populous state in the nation, which means most people have chosen slightly lesser hells like Bakersfield, CA, or even Delaware. Stop and ask a local why the fuck you just saw a sign with a picture of a rabbit with antlers growing out of it’s head. They jokingly call this taxidermy-for-tourism‘s-sake a “jackalope”, but I call it mutilating at least two corpses. It is a place that warps the mind, sickens the soul and ruthlessly chaps the lips of any who dare enter it. That’s why whenever some horrible, bloody tale makes it’s way from those barren hills and into the news, I can’t say I’m all that surprised. Chisago County, MN – It’s not clear when Douglas and Candice Ouellette’s marriage started to fall apart, but by June, Candice had obviously had enough, and filed for a protection order against her husband. On the application, she stated that Douglas had been suffering from depression and suicidal tendencies for quite some time. She wrote that on June 17, he held a gun to his head and told her, “I want you to see this so you remember for the rest of your life.” Candice took the gun from his hand – he whipped out a second one and held it to his head. She called 911 and Douglas was taken to a hospital. She decided to file for the restraining order when she discovered his normally empty guns were loaded – each one with five bullets. The number of bullets equaled the number of members in their little family. Candice filed for divorce on June 29 – Douglas was granted visitation with his children, and access to his shop and outbuildings on the property during the day, but was ordered not to enter the house. He was allowed to call or e-mail his wife once a day. He couldn’t have his guns back until he underwent a psychological evaluation. As of Wednesday night, the marriage is officially over – permanent like. Douglas strangled Candice to death before taking his own life. What’s worse, the kids were home at the time.  [Read more...]
