Cary, NC – According to her husband, Brad, Nancy Cooper, 34, left for a jog at around 7 a.m. Saturday morning and was supposed to return by 9. She did not take a phone, ID or keys with her when she left. She never returned. Search crews were formed and searched in and around Regency Park, Lochmere Lake, Lake Wheeler and Lake Johnson. They were looking for a woman described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, 120 pounds, hazel eyes and brown hair. She was wearing a T-shirt, running shorts and light blue running shoes. She was not located over the weekend. Around 7:30 pm Monday evening, a man walking his dog in an undeveloped area, discovered a body floating in a pond in The Oaks at Meadowridge off Holly Springs Road. This area is still under construction and no one lives in the few houses in that area.…

UPDATE 6/18/08 – Diana Rose Windowmaker has been found safe. A family member apparently found the girl, whose age is now being reported as 10, in downtown Lansing today. Police say it does not appear that Diana was kidnapped, but are releasing no other details at this time.
Lansing, MI – She’s missing, she’s with a man who has a history of harming children, and she’s only eleven years old. Diana Rose Windowmaker was last seen at about 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday near the Mid-Michigan Academy in Lansing, Michigan. She was talking to a man described as a black male in his forties, about six feet tall. Police believe they know who the man is and say that Diana is in “extreme danger”. …

UPDATE 9/11/08 – Yesterday, a grand jury indicted Randy Terrell Sylvester, Sr. in the murders of his children, Randy Jr. and Denim Sylvester. The burned bodies of the children were found in southeast Houston on June 21, stuffed inside a suitcase and a wooden box. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for the elder Sylvester on both counts of first-degree murder. Sylvester is also facing an assault charge for an attack on the childrens mother in June.

Pasadena, TX - Randy Sylvester Jr., 7, and his three year old sister Denim have been missing since Father’s Day. The last time the children were seen, they were playing on a tennis court at their apartment complex at about 3:45 p.m. Their mother, Jerilynn St. Cyr, became worried sometime later when the kids didn’t come back inside. She notified the children’s father, who lives in the same complex, but he didn’t have the kids either. At about 9:15 p.m., the parents reported their kids missing.…

UPDATE 6/11/08 – Nicole Ganguzza has been found dead. Her body was located in Blanchard Park, and there are possible similarities to the East Side Rapist serial rapes from 2006 and 2007. Authorities are looking for connections between this case and the previous attacks in the park, but have no suspects at this time.
ORLANDO, Fla. – Nicole Ganguzza, 26, has not been heard from since Tuesday evening when she went to Blanchard Park to jog. Her husband notified police and a search was launched at 9 p.m. An airboat and bloodhounds were brought in to aid in the search. Her car was found at the park and detectives have collected a running shoe they believe belongs to her. Oh, the park she disappeared in? A serial rapist was targeting white women who jogged there about a year ago.…

Mackinaw, IL – MeLisa Cleary, 30, was last seen on Friday, June 6. Her family and friends hadn’t been able to reach her on her cell phone over the weekend, which was weird. And they couldn’t seem to get an answer from MeLisa’s husband Daniel or the kids, either. On Monday, railroad workers in Logan County, Illinois found a woman’s badly traumatized body. Clarksdale, TN - Police are still trying to figure out what Fred Leonard Jr. did on Wednesday. And as I write, they’re still looking for Katrina Dumas. Dumas, 27, is Leonard’s ex-girlfriend and the mother of their three-year-old son, Fred Dumas. Katrina and little Fred went missing on Wednesday. Thursday night, Fred Dumas was found alive, tied up face down behind a church ten miles from Clarksdale. The toddler suffered a snakebite and numerous insect bites, but is expected to recover. UPDATE 4/24/08 – Chicago police say they have seen surveillance video showing Benito Casanova and the three children at a convenience store in Arkansas. Police say they now believe Casanova has taken the kids to Mexico, where they “are being taken care of”.

Chicago, IL – Three Chicago children are missing, and their mother is dead. An Amber Alert has been issued for Fernando Casanova, 11; Karla Casanova, 7, and Oscar Casanova, 6. According to the Amber Alert, the three siblings were abducted from Yates Elementary School on Friday about 2:30 p.m., right after school let out. UPDATE 3/19/08 - Zane Newton was found dead just a few hours after reportedly being abducted. Early reports indicate that he was found in a tunnel near a sump or drainage area not far from his home. The tunnel apparently caved in on Zane as he and his friends were playing, and his friend made up the abduction story.

UPDATE 10/17/08 – Yesterday, Christopher Mikels and Douglas Mandichak were indicted by a Camden County grand jury for the first-degree murder of Felicia Mikels, 17, on January 18. Mikels, who was Felicia’s uncle and lived in the same house with her, is the alleged father of Felicia’s child.  The baby, Miciana, who was six weeks old, was found unharmed on a stranger’s lawn January 19. Felicia’s body was found in Pennsauken Creek in Maple Shade on May 2. Both men remain held on $750,000 and $1 million bonds respectively.
